The food is very mediocre. Yesterday, when I ordered delivery, they were out of mango with sticky rice, which was fine, and they very considerately called me to ask if I’d like to get something else instead. I subbed out tom kha gai and rice, which both were fine. The real issue came with the green curry. Apparently they were out but didn’t realize it. However, I realized it once our food came: we got basically an unseasoned, unsauced bowl of vegetables and pork with no curry on it whatsoever. The gentleman on the phone said«We put a little in – maybe not much, but a little, maybe you can’t taste it.» There was none. My boyfriend, who has a low tolerance for spicy food, even agreed it wasn’t just un-spicy, but completely bland. They came back to deliver a little container of red curry sauce, which I thought was good of them, but they would have just let the lack of green curry slip if I hadn’t said anything. And the red curry wasn’t spicy, which was just odd. It seems like they were having a particularly bad night, but the food was just too mediocre. The prices are really reasonable, but unfortunately, it seems like there’s a reason. I hate writing bad reviews, but I don’t think I’ll order from them again. I’ll pay a little more and order from the more expensive Thai places. It’s worth it to me not to feel like the money I spent was a waste. I might even order Thai food tonight, even though I had it last night, so I feel like I got my Thai food fix, because yesterday just did not do it.

This place sold me pork in green curry that smells like ammonia. the quality of their meat is mushy, making me wonder what exactly did I just eat? Threw out the entire dish. Waste of money. Hope I don’t get food poisoning

Food is simply terrible from this place. Not authentic anything. Total waste of money. Do not eat from this dump. Disrespectful to the thai cuisine.

I can’t believe I have to give it a star. Yummy Thai II — Worst Thai food I have ever eaten. They can’t get the order right and it’s more like eating Chinese food. No flavor or thought has gone into preparing the food. Will never order or recommend the place.

I’ve ordered from both this location and the flatbush location at least six times, and I’ve always gotten good food. One thing that I like is that they put a lot more vegetables in their curries than most thai places, and they have really awesome salad dressing. I’d say that I’d choose this place over a lot of other places. As far as the«authenticity,» It’s not really authentic, but then again, most places don’t have«authentic» thai food anyway. I’ve gotten some really bad food from some well reputed places here in NYC. At least the food tastes good. 3.5 stars is my rating.

My first Thai good experience was this place so I thought I didn’t like Thai food, then I was invited and loved every dish I had at another Thai restaurant. I figured I just didn’t order the right dish last time so I tried them again tonight… just disappointingly AWFUL! See photo.

i had a really hard time trying to decide if i should give it two or three stars. i wish there was a 2.5, bu 3 will have to do for now. we were home and looking through our pile of take out menus. we normally order from the authentic bangkok thai house, but since it was a weekday, we wanted tot ry one o the weekday only lunch specials and this place won out. we ordered: pad thai — this was okay. tasted like how i imagined it would taste. it came with an egg roll/salad(that wasn’t appetizing at all — few pieces of lettuce). i’d order this dish again since it was only $ 6. the only thing is that they were a little cheap and the portion was smaller than i expected. pad see ew(sp?) — this tasted better than the pad thai. i would order this again too since it was only $ 6, but $ 6 can get you so much more at a regular chinese restaurant. the portion was smaller than i expected as well. green curry with rice — i didn’t like this dish at all. the green curry was a little weird and something i’m not used to. they put a lot of green beans/cucumbers/green peppers in there so the curry was very green and that kind of grossed me out. there were huge slices of onion there. the potatoes looked kind of bad so i didn’t eat it. the portion was also very small as well. i won’t be ordering this again in the future. yellow curry with rice — this dish was okay. does not taste anything like authentic thai curry. the portion was small and they also had a lot of green beans, cucumbers and immense amounts of onions that i had to pick out. i won’t be ordering this again in the future either. this place is a chinese owned thai restaurant since they also run a chinese restaurant at the same address. if you are looking for authentic thai to deliver in bay ridge, i’d suggest bangkok thai. glow thai is descent too, but i don’t think they are authentic either.

I found a pile of menus from this place in my building and as I’m constantly on the hunt for new restaurants to order from I decided to give it a try. My all-time favorite Thai dish is the Massaman curry which is what I ordered. The sauce was thin and watery and lacked the intense coconut and peanut flavor this curry usually has. The shrimp was also completely overcooked and soggy. The Thai ice tea was ok but, really, how can you f***k up Thai ice tea so I’m not giving them extra points for that. Overall, a pretty crappy place and since Bay Ridge does have a lot of great restaurants, this should literally be the last option on your list.

We ordered a curry dish which was watery and milky with a really small amount of curry. The chicken was poor quality. The noodles we ordered just werent’ good. I don’t care if they are Chinese — anyone of any ethnicity can cook any food — if they put the time and effort into it.

The meal was going well but then I found six– yes six!- Hairs in my food. I was going to give them four stars, however I generally deduct 1.6999 stars for every hair I find in my food. The crab Rangoon is a delight.

I didn’t even know these guys were’t an official Thai place. I will say that the Amazing Duck lives up to its name. Its not really enough for two people which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 as its a bit pricey($ 15). It does taste VERYGOOD though! Edit 9÷30÷2014: Changed my rating to 5 stars. I’ve since eating the basil fried rice, pad thai, and other delicious items from Yummy Thai and they are my absolute favorite!

IMPOSTERS! 3 ways you can tell this place isn’t authentic Thai and actually a Chinese restaurant in disguise. 1) It says AUTHENTICTHAICUISINE on the menu. 2) The delivery came in less then 10 minutes. 3) The order comes complete with fortune cookies that actually help you to learn Chinese. Complete disaster, lousy food, and all together a major disappointment. If I wanted American Chinese food I would have ordered that.
