They are absolutely the nicest people. I work down the block and I have stopped by here several times and they always are so kind to help with anything I need. I had really bad allergies one season and I went in to get Zyrtec and the pharmacist told me why waste money buy the generic version, it is the same thing. I bought it and it was the same thing, even better! Today’s experience is what made me want to write a review for them: I got a really bad cold sore this morning. I went in and they were so friendly and helpful. The pharmacist in the back came out right away and recommended a chapstick. Told me how to apply and I already see it going away! You don’t get that kind of customer service and/​or treatment in a commercial pharmacy.

I used Duane Reade as my pharmacy for many years. But when I moved to Bay Ridge I decided I’d rather use a mom and pop pharmacy instead. I like supporting local businesses when I can. Also Duane Reade couldn’t seem to remembering me despite the fact I went there frequently. What I love about Waldinger’s is how willing they are to go out of their way to help you out. I came in as a new customer, with messed up insurance situation and messed up prescriptions that required many phone calls to sort out, and the pharmacist was more then happy to get that sorted out for me. Its just nice to find that these days! They also have lots of ‘old school’ items to buy, like Pine Bros cough drops and Pears soap. Thanks Waldingers! I appreciate you!

Awesome, traditional pharmacy. They carry lots of sugar free/​gluten free foods, all the regular pharmacy over-​the-​counter products, and they are very welcoming and helpful. They’re very quick with filling prescriptions, even when they have to order the medicine first.
