Vincent V Abate Playground

Pros:
— Easily accessible by L & G trains (entrance on the corner of Lorimer & Driggs)
— Right next to McCarren Park Pool (which will be open next Summer!)
— Has two swing sets with 5 swings each!
— Left side of the playground has a play structure for babies and toddlers
— Right side is more for older kids (some toddlers and school aged children)
— Plenty of places to sit (lots of benches!)
— There’s a basketball court
— The enclosed back area has a big water fountain that is good for kids in the summertime
Cons:
— Kind of big, so it can be hard to keep track of kids (especially with more than one way to enter and leave)
— In the summertime, there are lots of bums sleeping right outside the playground
