It’s pizza, but it’s not the traditional NYC pizza i’m used to. You know the one I’m talking about, the floppy, thin, cheesy and yum! The sauce was thick, but it was just chilled thick… like not sliding off thick? Does that makes sense? I tried the plain and white cheese pizza here. I enjoyed the white pizza, and the topping of the plain. But again, way thicker than I like. Also, the bottoms were charred. Also. what’s up with the corn flour under the slices? It’s a really distracting flavor and texture and thought it took away from the experience. I also had an eggplant slider, which was pretty good, but the cheese are a little cold for a jsut out of the oven sandwich. All in all, would come back if i’m in the area but I wouldn’t travel to it again.

Came here during the #uberpizzaparty, über was giving out free pizza from Two boots. Got the artichoke slice, sauce was heavy but not the good kind. Lacking in cheese and crust was lacking in the crispy level. They do have a couple vegetarian slices and a vegan slice, so thanks for caring about the plant-eaters two boots.

Whenever I decide to go vegan from time to time, the vegan pizza is amazing!!! The cheese pizza is also yummy.

Had their Bird pizza(buffalo chicken blue cheese). Nice chewy crust, great flavoring and chicken. Portions run small(the small pizza is def not enough for 2 ppl if that’s all you are eating).

VEGANS — Caution! I ordered a pie and paid extra for the daiya vegan cheese. My sister is newly vegan and I was excited to show her how good vegan pizza can be. When my pie got here I bit into it only to realize that the cheese was NOT daiya, it was dairy cheese. I called to figure out what happened and the guy was not apologetic at all. You would think when someone screws up an order they would apologize, especially when that mistake violates someone’s deep ethical beliefs. He said I had to wait until the delivery man returned to see if I was telling the truth(even though he had other pizzas with him he still needed to deliver.) When I told him that I had already waited an hour for the pizza and wasn’t going to wait for the delivery man to go all the way back to the store just so he could«see what he could do» about a refund all he had to say was that it wasn’t an hour, it was«45 – 50 minutes» and then he hung up on me. Keeping it classy Two Boots. Only reason I’m rating two instead of one star is because he did end up refunding my order and sending a new pie.

Pies are fresh with high quality ingredients, and service is always courteous and swift. I would have given 5 stars if there was MOREVARIETY in pies by the slice! Same ones: day in, day out: Cheese, Pepperoni, Pork Store, Grandma Bess, Larry Tate, V is for Vegan, repeat…

I am a DEVOTED Two Boots fan– have been eating there for a gazillion years. So I was super excited to get one in my neighborhood! Yay! That said, I am so, SOOoo bummed that this branch seems to not have the same quality and vibe as the others. And they do not prepare my favorite slice, the Earth Mother every day… only on Sundays??? When they DO, it seems they never read up on the actual ingredients. I ordered an earth mother pizza(which has NO cheese, lots of sauce and veggies usually– yum!) and got a heavy cheese pizza with almost NO sauce and the most minimal sprinkling of veggies I’ve ever seen on a pizza… I’m talking a couple peppers and onions, that’s it. When I asked about it, they claimed that was the Earth Mother. Sorry, I’ve been eating Earth Mothers for 15+ years… it never had cheese, which I can’t eat. Love you 2 Boots, but get the Williamsburg spot a talking-to.

Had 2 slices of the plain cheese pizza and I loved the thin crispy crust. I almost ordered a 3rd slice, but I didn’t want to overdo it. And it’s totally gluten free!

#This Two Boots is good because it opens real late and it’s right off the train stop. They have all the classic Two Boots signature slices like the #Tony Clifton. What a great character to name a pizza after.

I stop in here after work at the very least 2 times each week. So it goes without saying I love their pizza plus it’s right in front of my bus stop and right next to the L train. Very convenient for a quick food stop. Staff is usually very friendly and welcoming but tonight something weird happened. Keep in mind it’s 11:15ish they close at 11:30. I walk in the lady behind the counter says hey, blah blah blah. I say hey smile back and continue looking at the pizza. I couldn’t decide if I finally wanted to try something new or stick to my regular 1 cheese slice and a large pepsi. After making weird faces at the pizza trying to sort out this battle in my head on what to get I finally chuckled and said I’m sorry can I please get 1 pepperoni one cheese and a large Pepsi. She goes ok. I then asked what time do they close I guess she didn’t hear me. So of all things she says, «WHAT?» Now I work in customer service and I think it’s so rude to say to people if you didn’t hear what they said«what?» I made another weird face and said no I was just wondering what time you guys close. She says 11:30. She hands me my food I say thank you and sit down. A little while later a couple comes in orders and then she asks them hey would you guys like a pizza on the house? They say yea she gives them the pizza everyone is happy. Another couple comes in they order same thing hey you guys want a free pizza. They say yes she hands them their food everyone is happy. I believe one more person that came either before me or right after me she calls out to them and say hey I forgot to ask you did you want a free pizza we’re about to close and that makes one less pizza for me to take home. So now I’m just like WTF! She never asked ME if I wanted a free pizza in which I probably would have declined being that the pizza was seriously burned and I already ordered two slices. I look up from my phone only to notice that every single customer in the store is white and I’m the only black person in there AND the only person in there without an offer of free pizza. As everyone was leaving they all got a have a great night. As I was leaving all you heard was big ass crickets. So I definitely won’t be visiting whenever she’s at the registers if I even decide to return at all. 3stars for the pizza and the creativeness of the restaurant.

First of all, I was absolutely, positively staaarrrvinngg when I happened upon this magical establishment. I ordered 1 pepperoni and 2 Bayou Blast slices, as well as a water bottle for only $ 13 :D Long story short, the pizza was fantastic. The crust was poifectly crispy, and the toppings were plentiful. The cheese… honestly, gave me a half chub. And the sauce was equally good. Combined, these 2 forces granted me 1 full erection. I’m being honest when I tell you that this place is the absolute tits, and I would HIGHLY recommend grabbing some pizza here next time you’re on the verge of fainting because you forgot to eat dinner ;]

Two Boots have decent pizza and the staff is friendly and welcoming tho their service definitely can be improved. I wouldn’t have made the trip all the way from Park Slope for the food, and I’ve been to better places in Williamsburg. Their location is pretty nice right off the subway which makes it easy and convenient to stop here. I’ve heard lots of great things about the locations in the city, but this restaurant is just unorganized and messy looking in my opinion. Their tap was also broken, and as one of the bartenders filled up a pint, something happened and the beer exploded all over. So whatever was left of my pizza was thrown out. I believe management should step in and do something about this restaurant, or else they should probably close down on this location all together to not ruin their reputation. Maybe I went in on a bad day, but I didn’t really get that impression.

Crust is so weird. Grainy and soggy. Slice was fresh from the oven but a total bummer. Table was filthy. The whole place is dank. Writing this as I eat. So sad.

Two Boots is by far the most creative pizza in NYC, and is vegan friendly, so that alone gets this place three stars. The problem is that this branch doesn’t have a great vibe. I’m not sure why. It’s more spacious than the branches in the West Village and the quality of the pizza seems to be the same, but it always feels a bit dark and empty when I go there. I wish this place the best, but as someone who likes hanging out with lots of people this place isn’t great.

Came here after an awesome Unilocal event and was starving. I always heard about the pizza from Two Boots so i definitely didnt want to miss the opportunity to try one. Heck, i was in the mood for pizza anyways! So, the pizza was meh. It wasn’t that serious. I also thought that the prices were a bit… wow. I get that its williamsburg and its expected for things to be pricy… but there’s a two boots in many different neighborhoods and im sure they all have the same prices. A pepeperoni slice is almost $ 4.00. Time for Diogorno pies.

I like the fact that offer unique choices for their pizza. Like alligator sausage, crawfish, andouille sausage and Tasso. The Cajun choices makes this a must go to pizza place in Brooklyn. I ordered the The Bayou Breast. The pizza tasted good like your average NY style pizza but it is the unique choices makes it stand out. I also liked the cornmeal on the bottom of the crust. The prices were okay. They also sell by the slice.

Ya know how when you click 3 stars Unilocal says A-OK? Well that is exactly what Two Boots in the burg is. I come here when I am near for a special slice from time to time. Sure best pizza is 2 blocks away and about 100 times better when it comes to a standard(or white) slice, but two boots isn’t standard pizza — It’s novelty pizza. You can get pizza’s with crazy topping like shrimp and chives or alligator sausage. And it is usually pretty good. The crust can get way too crispy if they over reheat it and they are always super greasy. Staff is usually pleasant enough and they have a lot of seating room so unlike best pizza, you can usually grab a seat. Come here if you get off at driggs and can’t stomach criff dogs, it won’t do you any harm.

Mediocrely impressed. I came here with the expectations of obtaining a fantastic pizza pie after seeing the pies on display but ended up with a forgetful dull pie. They do have quality ingredients and serve the pizza as fresh as possible but the gluten free pizza needs some work in order to be outstanding. I see plenty of potential for this pizza joint for thinking outside the box with their variety but improvement for us gluten free folks will make this place exceptional.
