My favorite little fabric and trim shop! The shop owner, Prince William, is a sweetheart and very willing to help find what you need. He’s been in business since the 70’s and has tons of crazy stories to tell if you have the time. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve paid a visit to this place. Every time I go, I come across something or another that takes my breath away. If you dig around deep enough, you might even find bolts of vintage fabric. It’s a little hole in the wall of a fabric shop, but it’s teeming with goodness in the form of beautiful(and affordable!) fabric and trim.

This overstuffed store is amazing. It was crowded on the Saturday afternoon I headed over but a few«excuse me“s did the trick. I wasn’t really able to figure out who worked there and who didn’t so that was the only down side. I wandered the store and picked out the items I needed cut and then stood by the front until someone with a yardstick walked by. I asked her to cut a few things for me and then at the front I asked if they had snaps. They totally did and even when the first package of snaps was too small I asked if they had ones for coats they also did. Unfortuantely, finding someone to ask for help is the hardest thing; a uniform or something to show who is working the floor would be very helpful. The owner is a very sweet man who is friendly and approachable. Great prices and I will definitely be back!!!

Such a variety of fabrics in such a little tight spot. The worker there is very helpful and welcoming. I went in there looking for buttons and patterns and I was shocked they had a large variety of things to showcase. The prices are great, just make sure you bring cash, no credit or debit cards accepted

This is the best fabric store in Brooklyn I been to yet. The owner knowledgeable, helpful and charming. Trimmings are literally hanging in mid air. His buttons range from your average buttons to top of line fancy bottons. He has all accessories you need for sewing. Their are a wide range of fabrics to select from in all colors. There are patches, feathers, threads, needles, fabric glue, plastic, hook & eye. If you need it he probably has it.

This store reminds of the garment district in the 90’s when there was still a wide variety of job lot fabric stores where you knew there was buried textile treasure to be found. This place has a little bit of everything and A LOT of trim, hanging from walls and ceilings, everywhere! A lot of the stock is perfect for this shops biggest customers, the performers in the West Indian Carnaval Parade, but amidst the tinsel trims are some things that would be $ 25 per yard in the garment district — beautiful laces, interestingf borders, plus a good selections of the usual ribbons, rattail, and the like. The fabric choices are mostly dressmaking, not upholstery. In fabric there is everything from cottons to woolens and party dress fabrics. It is piled up everywhere but the hunt is worth it. If you have a good eye there are some real bargains to be found. The staff is also knowledgeable and helpful. They actually know what is in those stacks. The prices are average to amazing.
