I joined Unilocal just so I could tell people not to use them. I had a few shirts and a really expensive white tie cleaned here, and before I was to pick up a couple other shirts and two pants, I discovered through the plastic sleeve that my tie had been snagged, had a pulled thread(which caused a pulled line across right below where it would knot, and took it back to ask what happened. She pulled my clothing back from the counter and refused to do anything about my tie. I politely asked if I could get the cleaning service on the tie($ 6) refunded, because my favorite tie(which I bought for $ 75) was now ruined and can never be worn again. She refused, and spent a few minutes blatantly accusing me of doing it. When I told her I’d pay for my clothes she was holding hostage, she gave me a «fork it over» hand signal, and gave me change abruptly before throwing my clothes down on the counter. I informed her that she’d lost me as a customer, and she replied, «Good!» Needless to say, I don’t feel they deserve more customers with that attitude and disrespect for a well-paying customer. Be warned! The cleaning might be worth it, but the customer service(or lack thereof) when an issue arises is not.
