The Color Bar Salon And Spa

The staff is great– they are warm and welcoming and make you feel comfortable and at ease. You are greeted with a warm smile not only by the receptionist but by everyone there. I have had my hair colored by Jen and my haircut done by Laura. I appreciate them listening to my ideas/​wants about my hair and appreciate their honest feedback. I always leave there feeling great; but I know they do great work in the fact that I still get compliments months after I have had it cut or colored. They do an excellent job here and I highly recommend you give them a try!

I waited to write a review, it’s been months and I still love my hair. Jen is an amazing colorist. Would definitely come back here again, but it’s very pricy. You pay for good service. I would recommend.

Got my hair done for prom didn’t wait at all literally they took me right then and there !! Finally I needed a hair cut and color in September and jen did my color, she told me I didn’t even need a color just a glaze (which saved me money) and she was so so sweet ! My blowout and cut was from Linda ! Now I’m the type of girl that if I see too much cut I cry and I told Linda since I was really skeptical about getting layers and hadn’t gotten a hair cut in two years so I’m obviously need one. She kept my length and gave me these beautiful layers I’ve never had before and my hair has never been healthier honestly they are so friendly here they make you laugh I never see anyone come out of color bar with bad hair there simply is no such thing ! Love this place so so much I recommend

Have been to the Colour Bar twice and it was amazing both times.
Got an amazing cut the first time and went back just recently for a balayage.
Have made this my new hair spot, and am always impressed with how attentive the staff is. Even with my colour growing out it looks amazing and is perfect for autumn.

I’m so grateful i found this salon through Unilocal reviews))) ive been here two times for color and haircut. I came with my baby both times and everyone was so helpful and accommodating, and i didnt feel for a second that i wasnt welcome there with my fussy baby anyway… That was very nice of the staff to be so understanding)
First time i got a haircut with Lara (?) i think that was the name of the year wonderful stylist — i have thin hair and she cut it in long layers and it was wonderful for two months. Next time i got a balayage with wonderful colorist whose name i forgot to ask and a hair cut with Princess and both were excellent results :)
I will be back again and again, hopefully next time without my fussy little girl ;)

I can honestly say I’ve never had such an amazing salon experience in my life. In fact, none of the places I’ve been to even come close to The Color Bar. I called at 11:00 this morning and was able to get an appointment for 2pm. I needed a cut and also wanted to have my hair dyed to an auburn color.
Chavie is the one who did my color, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She was very welcoming upon my arrival and took the time to understand the look I wanted. You can tell she truly loves being a colorist and really wants to make sure the client is satisfied.
Princess cut my hair and she’s one of those people you feel like you’ve known forever. She listened to what I wanted and then branched off of my thoughts with what she thought would look best. As she did the cut, she told me all about how to best maintain my hair color (she’s a redhead, too) and what products work for her. I learned a lot and was really appreciative because she didn’t try to sell any products to me; she was genuinely just giving advice.
When my hair was done, I was completely speechless. The color was EXACTLY what I wanted; Chavie gave me the perfect shade of auburn and the balayage highlights she added to the front gives my hair a very natural, sunkissed look. Thanks to Princess, my dead ends are completely gone. My hair has amazing body to it now and overall looks 1,000 times healthier. I’m sold on these two ladies for life.
The salon itself has a very nice layout; it’s very open and clean and just has a relaxing yet glam vibe to it. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the amazing quality of the work done. For the cut, color, and balayage, I paid $ 157 (without tip, obviously).

I first have to say I don’t like giving a bad review but I was not happy with my hair, The people working there were nice… But The Color was nothing special ,
just ordinary and the woman who cut my hair chopped it too short (bangs were ridiculously short, horrible) This cost me almost $ 300, needless to say I won’t be going back.
