By far the best tasting West Indian and Italian Cuisine. Patties are to Die for, the Escovitch fish, and their pastries are out of this world dynamic.

I live close to this spot so I’m in here on a regular basis prob 3 – 4 times a week. The beef patties are the best in Brooklyn hands down! They sell out so damn fast it’s ridiculous. The fish is good also there was a point when I was having it weekly. The oxtails is good as well not the best I have had but it does the job, it’s seasoned properly and always soft, I can never finish a medium in one sitting. I had their BBQ chicken with rice and peas and it has become my new go to when I visit extremely tasty. The curry chicken is good also and they had chowmein one time and it was good as hell. This place is always crowded though so if you can call in your order I recommend it. The roti is good and always fills me up. The employees are friendly and they know the regulars. Overall I love this spot and I wish them well. Around thanksgiving and Christmas they give away small played for free to show their appreciation to the community. U hope more people show support they deserve it.

Best Jamaican restaurant in Brooklyn hands down. Their food is always delicious and consistent. Always lines in there becuz the food is so great. They are very popular for their baked goods which are also really tasty. I couldn’t suggest u a favorite plate because I’ve tried everything and nothing disappointed me yet. I can say their rice n gungu peas are great. Only reason I gave them a 4 star is because they close so early(even though they open early) and because I feel they need more recognition. C&J ain’t got nothing on this restaurant! Oh and no stinkin attitude from the employees that’s a super plus

The food is alright. It’s just like any other West Indian restaurant in Brooklyn. Horrible customer service and rude cashiers. The food is over priced and got a small order for $ 6 in a little box. Normally a small is in one of those round containers. I ordered a slice of red velvet cake too, but it was kool aid red and WAY too sweet. The salad was good it cooled down the spiciness of the baked chicken.

Why one star you say? The food is good but the customer service is non existent. The cashier has a horrible attitude, service is painfully slow, and they run out of prepared food but bother to cook more or offer you an alternative. I refuse to patronize a place that treats its customers like shit. Sadly my dear husband keeps going back for the abuse and food.

During the Labor Day Parade. I was relaxing vibing up the block at some friends BBQ… turns out the food they had was for sale… worst part was the damn food was 10 bucks a plate! FUDGEOUTTAHERE!!! I said scratch this… I walked to Rutland. saw this long line almost out the door. I hoped on the line, I knew the food would be good, just by the demand. I had Oxtails with Rice & Peas… hmmmp hmmmp… Now I’ve had my share of Ox in my life time… this by no means blew the rest away… but it was damn good. Meat was tender and seasoned well. The rice was not hard it was a pleasure to enjoy. Washed it down with some Peanut Punch! #BOOM!
