I actually think this place is called Tony’s as that’s what the sign outside the store says, but the addresses match, so I’ll trust that we are talking about the same place. So I pass by the other day and see a sign that hey are celebrating their 50 year anniversary, except I’ve never even noticed this place before. Well, better late nan never I guess and I was craving pizza so the timing was perfect as I wrapped up running a few errands. 2 pepperoni slices for me. The shop is clean but small. They didn’t have many pizzas on display as I am used to at other shops, but I still decided to go with it– after all they’ve been in this business for 50 years. Verdict: pizza was ok. I don’t like piping hot pizza, but this shop could stand to take the temperature up a few notches. Pizza wasn’t extra saucy and had a good amount of cheese, which I appreciate. This pizza was also less greasy than that from other shops, but that is certainly a preference call. I enjoy a bit of grease to remind me that this is not something that I should plan to eat everyday. If I were passing by and craving pizza, I’d definitely consider it, but otherwise hmm…
