Spot Certified K9 Bed Bug Detection

These guys! They are absolutely amazing.
After living for months in a horrible apartment in Brooklyn, we decided to wage the war and move out. After packing up everything, sending it off to be fumigated, I was cleaning the floor of our new apartment and found a bug. Knowing to take photos (from my previous experience) I called Spot Certified. Keith answered right away and said someone could come out that day and inspect. He also told me to send him the photos, and if they were bed bugs, he would tell me to get an exterminator, not waste money on an inspection (HUGE PLUS, not out to make a buck)
After too long of a freak out later, Joe came with Spot (I LOVE THIS DOG) and inspected the apartment — nothing! It was a grain beetle (with a side of my paranoia from living in hell for too long). Joe also showed me what Spot would do if she found BBs, live bugs in a vial (yes, I freaked out at first, mental state was not at it’s best after spending a considerable amount on moving and fumigation). Joe was calming, sweet and wonderful.
Keith and Joe called to check in, which was absolutely fantastic. Then, as I was on their website today, I see they use rescue dogs! How amazing can you get?
All in all, they took an incredibly stressful situation and were calming forces. I really hope to never see them again — or need them again — but I think they are incredibly professional, competent, and friendly!

He not only investigated the business, he checked out the homes of several employees to make sure they were also clear. He shared his expertise on treatment freely. In this super-​stressful situation, he was great to work with, flexible, and helpful, and we really appreciated it!
