If I can give 0 stars I would. First of all if you decide to to come here bring your own nail polish. Their colors are old and dried out and charge you e tea money if it’s a brand name polish. I do not think their tools are clean either so bring your own as well. I sat here for maybe 10 minutes and they finished my manicure. I never been so disappointed with the outcome in so long. It was really messy I had to ask them to clean each nail otherwise they wouldn’t. The color was dried out so I needed like 4 coats of the polish because when I asked to change the color she didn’t want too seemed like she was lazy. Worst manicure I have ever received, I do not recommend. Only good thing it is cheap, $ 6 dollar manicure. I have gotten better manicures for this price. The place is also seemed not hygienic.

I used to come here for a short period of time but than I realized it wasn’t worth it because in a week my nails were lifting off. I mean they always take you no matter what but the problem is they rush. You don’t want to be rushed and you don’t want to pay money to have your nails lifting off in a week too! The only way I would come here again is if I was in desperate need of doing my nails and it was a last minute thing and my nail place couldn’t take me. Before I left for Vegas over the summer my nail salon couldn’t take me because they were super crowded and I didn’t have an appoint the so my friend and I came here and they took us. My nails looked good but the problem is once again they started lifting off after a week. Nails shouldn’t be coming off in a week.

I have been going to this place for over 5 years and absolutely loved Lily who did my nails for the first few years and lately every time I would try to call in and make an appointment with her I would get in response that lily doesn’t do regular manicure only tips that obviously cost more than regular manicure. That’s fine I started going to another girl whose name is Cindy and I cannot explain how poorly this girl behaves herself. She is always annoyed and unhappy I gave her large tips but that didn’t stop her from talking in Chinese right in front of me about me. So one day we got into an argument because I have had enough of her attitude and she proceeded to tell me that nobody likes me etc. obviously I will never go back to that place because even in that incident the manager was sitting and watching without saying a word. Do not recommend!

I have always come here for quick and cheap Mani pedis for $ 13. I didn’t mind being rushed because I’m always in a rush myself. However, recently they increased their price to $ 17. You get what you pay for and I usually come here for quick, cheap, «whatever» mani pedis that aren’t exactly amazing but does the job. As a regular, I don’t think I’d be coming back because the mani and pedi jobs have gotten pretty bad(new workers) and definitely not worth it for the money anymore. However I love the owner here, Erica! She is a sweetheart!!!

Right near the N train. Can’t beat $ 5 manicures. It’s a decent place. A nice experience for the money. I haven’t gotten a pedi there, but the staff and other clients are nice. Good place to strike up a conversation and chill. It’s not the greatest wax in the world for eyebrows, but the price is right and there is usually no wait or a short wait. I can bring my five year old with an iPad and it’s all good.

I live in the area and went over to have a mani and pedi. The girls here are very inexperienced. They cut my cuticle on 2 fingers and one toe, needless to say when you shower it burns. I even had a scab. If you attempt to go here, you need to know who to see. Remember, a lot of the girls are horrible

I love the owner and her husband, but I don’t love there nail salon so much. Some of the workers are good, some are terrible. My mom only goes to Erica and swears by her but I think because she has been so loyal Erica Makes sure to treat her right. I had bad waxes by some workers which made me stop getting waxes done here, I stopped with my nails because they rush, and honestly my nail time is my time I don’t want to be rushed. I also had gotten a foot infection(luckily I know a great podiatrist who fixed everything quick) and also because I would bleed from my cuticles every time I went there… Not cool. If you want a quick and okay manicure sparkle nails is the place to go with cheap prices but if your looking to be pampered walk in another direction.

If you are looking for a rush job pedicure and a less than stellar gel manicure, look no further than Sparkle Nails, located in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Upon my arrival, I was«greeted» by a staff member who looked as if she didn’t want to be bothered. After asking what services I needed, she grabbed a handful of gel manicure sample colors and told my to choose one. I waited about ten minutes until I was escorted to a pedicure chair. The attendant sped through my pedicure, even stopping midway to give another customer an eyebrow wax, leaving me with a cold towel on my feet. By the time she returned to finish, she wiped down only one leg and forgot the other. I actually had to remind her that she hadn’t wiped down the other leg. To my dismay, she finished my pedicure in record timing, eight minutes to be exact. I was then shuffled to another chair and then told to wait again while she provided another service to a client. As a customer, I find it extremely rude when an attendant stops midway through your service(that you are paying for!) to tend to another customer. Their attention should be focused solely on you until your needs are met. My gel manicure took twenty minutes with a less than desirable end result. Two of my nails were left unevenly shaped and one nail even had bubbled up from the gel color that was used. My bill came out to $ 32.00 which in all honesty was a reasonable price but in this case, you get what you pay for. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Sparkle Nails.

I’ve been coming here since junior high school to get my nails done. It’s a good local nail salon where you can get a mani/pedi for $ 13 Monday to Thursday(can’t beat that price!). This is not a place where you’ll get a long, relaxing treatment though, you’ll basically be in and out which is fine with me. My only complaints: there are some technicians who are not so good and you can tell they kinda just started working there. I’ve had some bad manicures here but overall I’m usually pleased with the outcome. I’ve since started bringing my own base and topcoat which I recommend others to do because theirs aren’t exactly the best quality in my opinion. Also, I’ve had some TERRIBLE eyebrow waxes here so I never ever get my brows done here now. Other than that, if you’re looking for a good neighborhood nail spot, Sparkle Nails is your place.

This place is inexpensive yet very good. I find the workers very pleasant and, unlike other places of this kind, actually pay attention to you. In addition, I take my 91 year old mom there for mani/pedis. My mom uses a walker and has a hard time getting up and down. They are all over her… helping her to get up and down and going out of the way to care for her.

You really can’t beat this manicure spot for the price. On Mon — Thurs Mani/Pedis run for $ 13! They are quick, and maybe they don’t take the time to fuss over you and give you a head, neck and back massage, but if you’ve been going for a while, they treat you well. Once I had a manicure from here last 10 days(on average they last more like 4 or 5, but I certainly don’t have princess hands, I use them to cook, clean, kickbox, etc.) Erica the owner is a sweet-heart. They stay up on the trends with the newest Essie and OPI colors and also have crackle, gel, and glitter acrylic. Sometimes there’s a wait, but how can you possibly beat $ 13 for a mani/pedi?
