This is definitely one of my favorite franchise restaurants to eat at, when they are not busy. That never happens except for late nights. The burger is made entirely from scratch. It is not those frozen meat that’s waiting to be slapped on the grill. It is minced, made into a patty, then grilled to perfection. My go to meal is usually the SmokeShack, Fries without the cheese, and Caramel Shake. Can never go wrong with this triple threat.

Tried their new Chicken Shack, and it was really good. Chicken was very crispy, and the mayo had some sort of herb that had some great flavor. The location is nice. Went at 11:30 on a weekday and though it wasn’t very crowded, the food took a bit to make. Also, the cheese fries are pretty salty.

This is a second time when I get a cold burger and a terrible fries. Please don’t kill the brand completely — do something!

I love the Shake Shack franchise and this location is one of my favorites. I love that it’s bright with lots of natural light. It’s always crowded, but I’ve never had an issue getting a seat with some New-Yorker-type finesse. My go-to is the Shack burger with a side of cheese fries. Those cheese fries are so good! Seriously, I haven’t found any cheese fries that parallel those ones. I usually keep it at that, but occasionally I split a shake if my date wants one. Of course those are absolutely delicious, but I’ve always said, I prefer to eat my calories than to drink them. Hence the cheese fries but not the shake. Ah, Shake Shack, the place where hard decisions are made! I’ll be back in no time.

My visit here made my realize how wrong I’ve been doing shake shack lately. Everytime someone mentioned this place I was like ehh not a huge fan; I take that back. LOCATION This place like every other shake shack is large but still small. What I mean by that is there are several places to sit, moreso here than other locations since there are highchairs so if your alone or don’t need a table you can sit bar style. However, due to the volume of people that come here there are NEVER enough seats which can be frustrating. FOOD I love their shakes here– DUH. The black and white will always be my favorite and the chocolate. Now, whenever Ive come here I’ve done hot dogs and fries. WRONG. I had a burger from here and it was GREAT! It was so juicy, fresh, and had great flavor. This in addition to their fries and cheese was unbeatable! Since I work around this area Ill definitely be back.

Whenever I’m in the mood for fast food, burgers specifically, this is my go to spot. Not only are they made to order, the ingredients are always fresh and appetizing and blend very well together. They offer a decent variety of burgers and hotdogs but they only serve French fries. It would be nice to see onion rings one day . Expect to wait about 3 – 5 minutes for your food when it’s not crowded but at peak lunch time, I’ve waited close to 10 for my buzzer to go off. Well worth it. The deserts and shakes are good as I’ve been told. I however, typically stick to the lemonade which I love. Great quality for a fast food joint.

I’ve had Shake Shack at the location in Chicago, but just as I’d expected, it’s WAYYY better in New York! The cheese fries are made with what tastes like American cheese, but other than that, man, are they good! They’re crinkle cut and perfectly salted. If you order to eat in, the cheese is drizzled over top, and surprisingly, that’s okay. No drenched, soggy fries here! And another highlight: their seasonal mango lemonade. I love mangos and I love lemonade, but this drink was somehow especially spectacular. I think I’d come back just for these two things. Basically: it’s the perfect sorta-hipster New York fast food to stop in, grab a bite, and use the bathrooms on your day exploring the city. You can’t visit New York without visiting Shake Shack.

After almost 8 hours in the car with 3 kids and driving into NYC traffic, we decided to try out the Shake Shack. It was also within walking distance of our hotel. It was packed! The shakes were just ok. The burger was good. The fries may have been the best part: crinkle cut and crispy. They were out of straws and we asked for some and were told no. What?! Then they refilled them as we were leaving. An experience worth trying once but I wasn’t wowed by it.

This Shake Shack is very clean and isn’t packed with people on a Saturday night. The staff behind the register was very kind and pleasant towards my boyfriend and I. The buzzer didn’t take long to go off and we got our food. Shake Shack burgers really hit the spot, it’s not a big burger but the quality of the burger is always good and consistent. The Cheese Fries were good too, but it’s usually a hit or miss since this time it was on the salty side.

The service here is great. They are fast and efficient. Whoever is the manager here is doing something right. The food is a decent wait time and it’s fresh.

This place is always crowded. Be prepared to fight for a seat. In the middle of a shopping center and business district, plus a tourist trap because it’s close to tourist sites. So be prepared to see a combination of annoying guys in suites, confused tourists, and bratty teenagers. Besides that, the food is of course slamming. I love the cheese fries. Also I got the new chicken sandwich and it was slamming. Very crispy and juicy. Plus the new holiday drink chocolate peppermint was on point as well. The price though is expensive. 30 bucks for 2 sandwiches, 1 fry and 2 shakes.

I love Shake Shack! There’s not much different about the food or space. The thing to note about this location is the service. You walk in and all you see are friendly smiles, despite how crazy busy it can get – and trust me, it gets busy! I’ve seen the line out the door before during the lunch rush. For a fast food joint, the staff are actively walking around cleaning the tables and offering to take your tray when you’re done with your meal. What I most recently witnessed was a women order food and found a table to seat her baby. She stood up when her buzzer rang, and a staff member came up to her to ask«Stay with your baby, I’ll bring you your food.» That’s customer service! Spreading love the Brooklyn way! No wonder my 2 favorite shake shacks are the ones in Brooklyn :)

I really do not think that Shake Shack can do any wrong. This location is in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, and despite that fact, we easily found a table for ourselves. Burger(I always get the Shack Burger) was delicious, the fries were crispy, and I had a ton of fun people watching on a lovely evening. FYI: Bathroom privileges are for customers only and you will have to show a receipt in order to use it.

Must try the Chicken Shack only in BK right now. So good and much better than supporting ultra right wing Chick Fil A. Quick service and ample seating options even during peak lunch hour. Also the shakes are pretty tasty too. Can’t complain. If you must do fast food this is a a good option for high quality meat.

American culture of burgers, crinkle cut French Fries, hot dogs, milk shakes, soda accompanied with beer and wine in self-serve fast food setting. It is a step above McDonald’s but surely no different in meat quality, nor quantity portions. America thrives on foods that embed ingredients to increase high cholesterol, oil fat, gargantuan food portions and extreme sugar of carbonated soft drinks of soda without regards to weight control and health consequences. Two Shack Burgers $ 5.19 each One bottled water $ 2.35 One large soda $ 2.75 Shake Shack burgers are not enticing juicy and the meat is bland. I personally prefer a juicy burger when squeezing the meat in the hand the natural flavors overflow and spew onto my plate. I also like to see the charred grill lines on the beef. Over rated and excessively overpriced. Pagers are given to customers when ordered are fulfilled. Self-service. No waiter service. Fast casual. Customer service is attentive and friendly.

Love love love shake shack! It’s in my mind the NYC equivalent of the west coast’s in and out burger, both small chains that are well-known for serving fantastic burgers! My go-to here is a cheeseburger with cheese fries. The burger is delicious and I’m still not sure why… is it the bun? Or how they cook the burger(it’s both thin and juicy at the same time!?)? It’s a mystery to me. The cheese fries are crinkle cut fries topped with a cheese sauce made of American and cheddar cheese. Not much healthy going on here to be frank. They also just unveiled a chicken burger sandwich which looks pretty interesting. For vegetarians there’s pretty limited options(the shroom burger), but I’ve heard good things about it from friends. They also have a selection of different hot dogs in addition to the burger choices. What makes the 5 stars for me at shake shack is the selection of dessert options(because you can’t have a burger and fries without some sort of ice cream, right?). They have frozen custard here and boy is it tasty. You can get a cone, cup, shake, concrete(pick your mix-ins to have blended into the custard), or my personal favorite; the brooklyn pie oh my(custard blended with the local pie of the week… I’ve tried more than I can count and all have been phenomenal). You can also bring home a poochini(ice cream with pb sauce and homemade milkbones) for a furry friend you have at home or outside! Shake shack also serves beer and wine which is a perk for many. They have the shack master ale beer and a shack red and white wine available at most locations. This particular location can get insanely busy at times, but the crowd tends to turn over pretty quickly. It’s fairly small inside but in nice weather there’s ample seating outdoors(tables and benches). They have a condiment bar and complimentary water station so you pretty much order at the register, receive a buzzer, and are on your own from there once you pick up your food at the front. Shake shack is a must try for anyone visiting NYC or any locals that for some unknown reason haven’t tried it just yet… you won’t be let down!

The burgers at shake shack are good and those have been vetted as locations keep popping up in NYC and beyond. But the fried chicken sandwich is currently new to the menu and promises to fulfill your fried chicken desires this side of the Hudson River(eat mor chikin?). So I obtained one of these as I was in the area and decided to eat it with a blueberry sweet corn flavored custard. The blueberry presence in the custard was quite disappointing. It was merely a kind of bland corn or custardy flavor with flakes of dilute blueberry sauce. I should know better as the custards are not satisfying every single time I try. Maybe a float or concrete would be better but I usually make my room for a cheeseburger. Shake shack is all about the beef! Since I set out to eat chicken this time I crunched my way steadily through a little freshly fried chicken sandwich which is very white meat(breast) representative as well as pillowed by the soft shake shack bun. The buttermilk ranch barely made an appearance so those in search of flavor this is lacking. The pickle added something good but it also reminded me there is a much better flavorful chicken sandwich at those religious establishments from the south which you can’t get without crossing into jersey right now. Bummer. Still shake shack is a good place to eat mor cow.

After a 5 mile bike ride to the Brooklyn bridge we were starving so we decided to ride to Shake Shack to get something to eat at 10pm and it was busy! I ordered a single patty burger with fries and a root beer, the root beer is awesome here! The burger might be one of the best I’ve had! The meat is cooked perfect soft, juicy and crisp on the outside, I should have opted for the double a friend had it and it looked so good. My sister had the new chicken burger and she said it was good but the Shake Shack burger is so much better. Than we ordered dessert, The Brooklyn pie mixed with custard, the pie was balsamic strawberry and it was absolutely amazing we were all savoring each bite it was that good. We also ordered a peanut butter milk shake just as devine as the custard pie the shake was bursting with peanut flavor and I would definitely get it again. Every time I come to visit I always need to make a stop at Shake Shack!

Best location in Brooklyn. I cannot wait to try their chicken sandwich. Maybe I will do so today! I love everything about the food here. Definitely a must try whenever you’re in NY. You really can’t beat a shake shack burger!

I stopped in to see what Shake Shack was two years ago. I didn’t purchase anything to eat but I was aware of the prices for their burgers. I decided I’d come back another time. On the fourth of July, I stopped by after watching the fireworks. It was insanely crowded in here to the point that a line went around the corner. When it was my time to order, I ordered the Smokeshack burger and a regular sizes lemonade. I kid you not, my total came up to about $ 11. I received the buzzer(I love these as they have them in fast food restaurants abroad). There weren’t many seats available in the seating area. As I sat down, I noticed how relatively tiny this burger was. It was a little overcooked, I prefer them between medium to medium well. It was no bigger than a junior bacon sandwich at Wendy’s. The bacon was pretty okay. My favorite part of the burger was the Shack sauce and the spicy peppers that accompanied it. The burger was okay but it wasn’t worth $ 6.69 plus tax. The lemonade was very good, I would definitely recommend it. I don’t personally think it’s worth the money, but if you’re a burger connoisseur, then I do recommend for you to stop here for one. It is pretty overrated in my opinion.
