Sam went out of her way to help me! She took a piece of fabric in a bright (green) color and «interesting» material and made me a beautiful bridesmaid dress. I got many a million compliments and I felt great in the dress.
It was great working with Sam — it was just like working with a friend who understood exactly what I wanted and she was able to make my vision even better!

I cannot say enough about Sam and her work. I needed some alterations done and a wrap made for my wedding dress, and had a few photos of what I was hoping for. Sam worked from the photos and made a spectacular cape/​wrap, matching the fabric of my dress perfectly and adding some detail work that pulled the look together beautifully. It was creative, well-​made and unique, and she did it within a couple of weeks.
My wedding dress was actually the second dress I purchased — the first was botched by a seamstress who said she could do something that she couldn’t without compromising the fit, rushed me through, and didn’t really understand what I was hoping for. Sam was the opposite: patient and accessible; clear on what she thought should and shouldn’t be done with the alterations; and careful to make sure that she understood what I wanted. My only regret is that I didn’t know about her sooner. Her studio was filled with some spectacular dresses she was working on that were feminine and romantic but also kind of edgy and modern. Had I met hear earlier i would have tried to go with one of her original designs.
