This place is a real gem! The best Turkish sweets I’ve had outside of Istanbul. Authenticity and flavor is just what you can expect here. Beautiful array and variety of cookies, pastries and famous Turkish baklava :) I’ll be frequenting here again and again

Lady who works there in the morning is always rude and gives attitude. I ignored her until today, when she even refused to sell me a small tray of «baklava». I asked her why is that so, she replied back by saying you have to order it two days in advance. WHAT??? It was my favorite place to go to almost every day, but after having an impolite conversation with staff I will not even bother myself to think about this place. Sad because I loved going there for a morning coffee and a nice treat. PS: Teach your staff for some good manners!!!

Been here a handful of times. Everything I’ve tried has been consistently delicious. The lady at the register is also very sweet. They run out of a lot of stuff towards the evening since everything is fresh.

Don’t go anywhere else for Turkish desserts! Their baklava is crispy, not too gooey. I took a tray to a party and it got great reviews! I also tried something that I’d never seen before – little cookies that look like scoops of ice cream… DELICIOUS!

Came here during my lunch break. Read some reviews before making my purchase. My spouse likes baklava, so decided to give it a try. $ 4 for 4 pieces of sweets, seems average. Although, Istanbul on Bay Parkway have bigger slices. Overall, the taste of the pastry is really sweet as expected. Wouldn’t mind going back to try different types of pastries.

As someone who suffers from a food allergy that requires me to carry an epi pen a huge pet peeve of mine is places that are either unaware of their ingredients or haphazardly tell you«no» when you ask if an item contains certain allergens. Unfortunately Safir Bakery falls into the«bad allergen» information category. We wandered in here on a Sunday early evening looking for a selection of pastries to bring to my grandmother’s. After selecting two gorgeous mini cakes from the case(a mousse cake and an Oreo cream cake) my eyes were drawn to the cannolis. I asked if there were any nuts, as oftentimes there are pistachios, etc. in the filling and I was told«no» feeling safe, we also grabbed four chocolate cannolis, and a Napoleon for good measure. When we began feasting at my grandmothers house, my SIL and father both immediately noticed a taste indicative of nuts in the cream of the cannoli and a tiny lick of a spoon full of the filling confirmed that in fact there were some nut products in there. Sadness and woe. The chocolate mousse cake was delicious as was what everyone else ate. Docking a star for lack of product knowledge as hey… that’s important. The woman behind the counter was very nice and helpful and everything in the place looked delicious. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back for more mouse or something else that won’t cause me to have to stab myself in the thigh with a needle.

I stopped by here on a hazy Saturday afternoon. There’s plenty of seating and the cashier was extremely nice and very patient with me when I asked her many questions about the desserts. I had the baklava and Turkish coffee. The baklava was delightfully tender and sweet. The coffee was brewed fresh and was an excellent afternoon pick-me-up. I’ll definitely be back. The only negative comment I have is that the ventilation is poor. Hopefully they’ll have the AC up and running around summer time.
