Other than the pharmacy, we stop in for the occasional toothbrush, holiday card, shampoo, or specialty battery. The pharmacy is drop off service only… meaning you have to come back later for your items. I prefer the mom and pops as they fill your script on the spot. Other than that, this location is conveniently located and they carry all the staples you’d expect to find at a Rite Aid.

Not the best experience but not the worst either. I liked Walgreens a lot more but this is the closest pharmacy to me. If you go on a Sunday, you will find your sale item. I don’t know about going on Thursday or Friday though. The staff aren’t terribly nice, but they are not rude either. That’s an achievement already.

Over-all great staff, very helpful like if an item you want is not on the shelf, they’ll check in the back for you. Really quick with the rain checks since they’re the type of Rite Aid that uses automated rain checks that are printed from the cash register rather instead of writing it out on a paper slip. Major problem is no parking lot and its quite a few blocks away from the subway, but there are a couple bus routes across the streets. Also, often there are a lot of boxes, both small and giant in the aisles and the aisles are small, so using the shopping cart might be a pain and it doesn’t help that it tends to be busy and you will find a couple people often blocking your way. Good thing about the boxes though, if you can’t find what you want on the shelves, there’s likely going to be a box of it in the aisle anyway and since they’re usually open you can rummage rather than bother an employee. Also, cashier line issue. This store has only a couple of regular cashiers and the others are cashier and stock people or cashier and photo people and since this place tends to be busy, the lines are usually a while.
