Very disappointed with what happened to me there. Was lied to by the own manager on the policy they have. I went in to purchase a iPhone 5. They didn’t have the 16g so I ended up getting the 32g. I only had enough cash for the 16 g so I ask if I can put the rest on the card they said ok. Once I give in the cash the manager who was helping me tells me that for her to sell me the phone I MUSTBUY a accessory with the phone or she can’t sell it to me. I reply«oh really?» She said yeah it’s a policy we have. So I was left with no choice but to get a screen protector. She then tells me «I can put it on for you.» I said«ok». When she puts it on she leaves dust and bubbles under. I was upset being that I purchased the Zagg smudge proof one which was 20.99 I believe not some cheap one. After a day or two I called radio shack customer service. I told them what happened and they told me that there is no such policy that says that you must purchase a accessory with a phone. When the rep on the phone told me this I was really pissed. Will never go again there to get a phone. I also found out by another sales person in the store that I should have gotten a discount when I got the phone and accessory it’s a deal they have. I was never informed of this by the manager that dealt with me. Her name is Sue not sure if that’s how you spell it. Hope this helps. Other store reps help you out more then a manager which is sad. It seems that the workers don’t really enjoy having the manager around. The times I have been in there and she is in there they are all downed and look like they can’t wait to get out. Other times when I go in and she is not there every one is very happy.

It’s a Radio Shack. They may try to sell you a wireless plan when you come here to pick up that one thing you need(and they seem to have the usual variety of computer/electronics equipment), but the person who helped me was very soft sell about it(«Do you need a wireless plan? No? Ok.») I think their stock of some items is kept in the back or basement, so if you see a display item but don’t see stock, ask. Like most businesses on 5th Avenue in Sunset Park, se habla español. But also English.
