Literally the worst Popeyes I’ve ever frequented. No matter where a business is located, they should be trying to be the best representation of that company no matter what. First, the service is extremely slow. This location gets so much business, so it should be a priority to be a legimate«fast food» location. Average wait time is 10 to 25 minutes! Second, homelessness and panhandling is a MAJOR problem at this location. I’ve been asked to buy meals and/or spare change very frequently. Third, this location has had a lingering foul smell in the air for years! It hits you upon walking in and you eventually get used to it but it makes you wonder immediately about the cleanliness of the location. Sadly, the worst example of a fast food location, by far.

LOL this place is like the opposite of fast food. I felt like I waited in line forever, and it’s not like the employees are in any rush to get the order of the person waiting. It’s perplexing.

This location isnt bad at all. Sometimes while waiting for the connecting 3 train to brownsville from the Utica ave train station i stop by here when i cant help but ignore the smell. My ONLY complain is the incompetent staff who are so lazy! I seriously want to slap the overweight angry cashiers with major attitudes. I just want to grab a drunstick and slap them with it! Other than horrible customer service its not bad especially for the fact of being in the middle of the«hood».

This location is just irritating to enter. You have a few«crazies» tooting around that hangout inside. Extremely slow service In the day time. The guy with glasses needs to put a bit of pep in his step and speed up the service. Well, it doesn’t really matter now because I won’t be returning. After seeing the folks in the back cackle over the food while spit flurries sprinkled on the chicken was enough to kill my appetite for the day.

It is fine. It is just like Popeye’s everywhere else. Compared with the McD’s across the street which is a portal to hell, this is totally fine. The line moves and food emerges hot.
