The question is… Do you remember what Pizza used to taste like when Italians made them? Even in the 90s it was great. Nowadays, you have a flat brad covered with cheap unnatural ingredients and taste of lots of cheese. This place is the new style of pizza. Nothing like the good old times. It’s cheese on top of fake tomatoes on top of bread that sticks to your teeth. If you want real pizza of good old times, go to DiFaras or Avenue J or Totonos on Neptune ave. Check my spelling on those 2 places though. Hope this helps. I am sure my mother would love this pizza but for those that want real pizza, this is NoT the place.

Sicilian pizza is supposed to be a square with 9 pieces. 6 pieces makes a rectangle robbing my roommate of the ability to get the key slices with only one crust side.

This pizza place has been here for some time now. It’s good because they are open later than other pizzeria’s. The pizza isn’t the greatest I ever had but it’s good. It’s nothing spectacular. I never tried anything else but the pizza here so I’m not sure. The place is more of an old style pizza place with the tables attach to the little booth seating. Most newer pizzerias now just do regular chairs and tables.

The place is usually packed. Finally i and my SO stopped by there. That’s when i realized WHY this place was packed. It’s their pizza. I have no idea what spices they use, or what they put in the sauce, but after one bite i was HOOKED! That’s when i noticed there were a lot of people who really like this place. Families didn’t mind having their kids standing up to eat their pizza. I saw little old grannies tottering on their canes throwing down on the pizza slices. I observed one guy who ordered a slice, and after having one bite, he ordered another one. This same guy stood there at the counter tearing that slice of pizza up! By the time his second slice came out, he was finishing up, wiping his mouth with a napkin like a real Italian man! What cracked me up, was when they gave him the second slice, home-boy sauntered out to the street because there was no where to sit. He found the nearest car and leaned on it, and started mackin’ out on the second slice like a pro! I looked around there were several people leaning on newspaper stands, signs, posts, wherever, chowing down on their fresh pizza. Without a care in the world, man. Pizza Wagon’s been around for a long time. And there’s a reason for it. Just look for the folks having a good time with their quality pizza.

12÷24÷15: «GOHOMEANDEATYOURCHICKENFRIEDRICE!». This is what I hear an employee yelling at a customer as I’m waking into my favorite pizza joint. Been coming here over 20 years so when I heard that it was heartbreaking. Apparently the customer who is a young Asian American woman didn’t like the tone the«self appointed manager» was giving her so she decided not to buy anything(which is the customers right). And the manager says«yeah go home and eat your chicken fried rice». Why did he have to say something so insensitive? Regardless of what transpired; to say something like that to anybody in this day and age is unacceptable. It brought up a lot of the«old timey» racism I had to endure here growing up here and it got me so angry I had to leave. Gonna miss this place but can’t support a place that would hire a person that promulgates hatred. Peace and love y’all.

Pizza is ok. It’s cash only, service is pretty fast and they are open late. For a drunk slice it’s great, but if you are looking for a good pie this isn’t it.

Ordered cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, & mushroom pizza. Get pepperoni pizza. Mushroom is flavorless. Cheese is eh. Took about 45 minutes for our pies to arrive.

Surprisingly enough, the pizza in Bay Ridge leaves a heck of a lot to be desired. However, Pizza Wagon is the best pizza in Bay Ridge. It smells awesome when you’re walking by, and it tastes just as good. Thank God for Pizza Wagon or I would have to resort to Ellios Pizza :)

You can tell from the font on the sign, from the soda machine and from the brevity of the menu that is an old-time, no-nonsense slice joint. You’ll find no salads or even chicken parms. I had considered this in the top echelon of old-school spots, although after my latest visit I think the slice falls short of perfection. I have no quarrel with the cheese or crust, but this pizza needs some more sauce. I enjoyed the 1985 Daily News article on the wall about Pizza Wagon and other places.

A pretty standard pizza joint. Has that old school Brooklyn vibe to it with those plastic booth style seating and wooden wall panels. In terms of quality, i’ve definitely had better tasting cheese pizza. I don’t think there’s enough cheese flavor on their pizza. Otherwise, the staff here are friendly.

Is it me or are the squares getting smaller??? If you’ve been in Bay Ridge, odds are you’ve eaten here. It’s an old school/bare bones Brooklyn Pizzeria. Their slices and squares are the only reason to come here. I used to think their squares were the best in Bay Ridge, but their quality has def dropped over the years, and like I said, their squares are definitely smaller as well. They still make an above average slice/square, but just not as good as they used to be.

One of my all time favorite pizza spots on bk. Plain, simple, fast, hot, crispy crusted pizza goodness!

PERFECT! Good old fashion Brooklyn Pizza like I had when I was a kid… these places are getting hard to find even in Brooklyn. The crust has just the right amount of crisp, chew and flavor. The cheese has the perfect stretchy texture. Delicious sauce. Just the right amount of oil.

I had their single slice of cheese pizza AFTER a full dinner meal because my husband heard about this place and decided we can be fatter. It was the one of the best single slice of cheese pizza consider I was nowhere near hungry. We will come back for the pies!

Pizza: Delicious Service: needs improvement. The story: Boyfriend called up and ordered a square pepperoni pie for pick up(sounds like a tongue twister). We’re told it would take twenty minutes. We go to pick it up and the cashier told us he never received an order despite us calling in advance. It’s one thing to make a mistake but then say we’re lying is low. Bumping up the stars to three cause the pizzas good other than that service needs improvement.

This is a great pizza place that has been here forever. It makes that perfect, thin-crust, Brooklyn style pizza(not coal oven pizza). It’s a small takeout place. There are plenty of seats and it’ll fit a nice size group, but this isn’t a place to take a date or a family. Think more like a basketball team on its way home from a game. The focus is also on pizza. You come here for slices(or squares) and not some artisanal Italian sandwich. This means that they make consistently great pizza, but it does offer the drawback that when you want an offbeat topping, like in my instance eggplant, they’re not going to have it. But this is Brooklyn so if you want coal fired pizza head to 99th street or if you want eggplant on your pie go to 94th street.

Pizza Wagon is a tried-and-true Bay Ridge favorite – and don’t you forget it. From my early days of youth loitering with my misfit middle school friends – to my early 20s of late-nights in the office and coming home with a greasy pizza craving, I have come to Pizza Wagon for its familiar comfort and dependable slice of pie. The quality of this slice joint has not wavered in decades. That is because they have perfected the ratio of crust/cheese/sauce. In fact, the only thing that has changed in Pizza Wagon is the price. Even the 80’s style wood paneling, and veteran red/white booth seating has become synonymous with Pizza Wagon’s image. However you like your pizza – spotted with pepperoni and doused in garlic powder(like how I used to do it back then) or blotted with paper napkins and sprinkled with some oregano(how I do it now), it is a pleasure to know that your slice is the same slice that all of us loyals have been tasting for decades. Bön Appetit!

Based on the reviews, I thought we were going to have the best Sicilian slice of our life. It wasn’t bad though. 95% of Sicilian slices I try the past few years are terrible. This one had decent flavor and crust had pretty good texture. Good amount of cheese which tasted like pretty good quality. Needed much more sauce. The sauce seemed caked to the crust. Tasted like tomato paste. Thought because we came here at 10pm it just wasn’t fresh. $ 2.25 a slice. Fresh out of the oven I could see the Sicilian slice tasting much better but don’t think I’ll return to find out.
