Good rice and beans covered with a beef gravy. Stewed beef steak on top was tender. Nice ladies behind the counter serving traditional basic Dominican fare. Plastic utensils and aluminum to go plates kinda place.

You’re standard Dominican point and platter joint. The chicken is great, as well as the steak simmering in that amazing Spanish gravy. But the best thing about this place is the price. $ 4.00 and you’re full! You get rice, beans and choice of meat. A little tip, ask for a little bit of the concón pronounced«cohn cohn»(kinda), which is the burnt chunks of the rice. Very flavorful and is a loved part of Dominican food. When I first asked for it(I am white and don’t even try to embarrass myself talking to them in my horrid Spanish) they all looked up wide eyed and the older lady asked, «where did you learn to eat concón?». From then on I feel as if my plates became a little heavier.
