I found this dentist on ZocDoc… I was dealing with a bad tooth ache and needed to see a dentist asap. I searched ZocDoc and found Dr. Markel… I was able to schedule my appointment on line at midnight for a appointment the next morning. I told him up front that I was paying cash for this visit since I had no insurance. He told me that I needed to have the tooth extracted and that it would cost 300 dollars for this procedure. After he did the check up, then the x-​rays and the actual pulling of the tooth, that’s exactly what he charged me 300 dollars… Not only did I feel like he was very fair in his price for his service. I never felt so comfortable sitting in a dentist chair. Being 43 years old I have had my fair share of bad experiences at the dentist. After the numbing wore off i felt like I never had a tooth pulled. He told you the play by play of everything he was doing and what to expect. He stitched up the hole the tooth had left and like I said before I never felt like I even had a tooth pulled. I highly recommended Dr. Markel as your dentist.
