M’eh. Ordered the shawarma platter. Definitely a hefty portion of food. Easily could have shared this with someone else. The hummus was the highlight of the dish. But everything else was bland.

I’m on a downward spiral and I can’t wait to hit rock bottom! I’ve been«using» Oasis for years now and have been ordering from the new Greenpoint location once a week for the past 3 months… Addiction is hard when your Shawarma game is so on point! Pros: Incredible veggie sides Delicious grilled meats Dessert game so strong Oh how the lentil soup ball so hard Dolla dolla bills cheap! Mad amounts of food guaranteed to leave you with leftovers for a midnight snack! Cons: Hot sauce could be hotter The withdrawals you will have from the Baba ghanoush The delivery time… I know I know, I’m an impatient gourmand… but alas, we waited an hour and ten on a 30 min quote. Yes… it was worth it… Get this: Chicken Shawarma platter Beet salad Baba ghanoush Get that: ALL of the desserts: P

This is my absolute favorite falafel sandwich anywhere. The falafel itself is always fresh, and the salads they add are killer. The hummus rules too.

I love this place. It has great falafel. I like them better than hummus and pita co. Although they are good. I like to support the smaller local business. I recommend it. Really nice guys to. One of my favorites in brooklyn. Try to the falafel bowl. The hummus is made there as well. Thanks for the good food guys

Solid falafel sandwich for 4 bucks. It’s huge and it’s good. The place is clean and service is fast and friendly. Haven’t gotten delivery yet, so I can’t speak to that. The hummus is a bargain at 6 bucks for a big tub, but unfortunately it’s also seriously lacking in flavor and the only reason I’m giving 4 stars.

This is a great falafel spot. Always crisp and fresh, it is the veggie bar that puts it over the top. Cabbage and onions with hummus is my move. I go sauceless, but that is another story.. .

What a great find! Thanks Unilocalers! $ 4 for a falafel sandwich which my husband described as «incredible» and I got the vegetarian platter for $ 7 which was a hearty serving of(my choice of cold appetizer) tabouli, Arabic salad, and chickpea salad. Nice, clean bathroom too! We will definitely be back!

Great affordable lunch/dinner option! It’s the same as the Oasis off the L, and not as crazy. I like to get the chicken shawarma plate $ 10. Seriously, it’s enough for 2 people or 2 meals! Also comes with 2 pita breads. The falafel is also great – only place I’d get falafel in Greenpoint if I’m in the mood. And I actually don’t know exactly what it is, but I feel like the servings at this location don’t get as soggy as the N7 location can be. Anyway, the serving sizes are super generous, everything is tasty, and there’s plenty of seating if you want to sit down for your meal. The guys that work there are nice, and considering how cheap your meal is going to be – they even take credit card!

$ 4 giant falafel sandwich. Most satisfying amazing cheap dinner ever. I’ve never tried anything else here because I am just super happy with this choice but I bet everything else is good.

There’s a quiet Oasis in Greenpoint and it serves up the same awesome falafel sandwiches and platters as the Bedford Ave one except it’s empty and there’s parking. I also love their lentil soup and the cigar roll dessert.

I placed an order for delivery on a Thursday for the Mix Grill and the Mixed Shawarma Plate. the Shawarma was tasty and done well. the Mix Grill was a little dry. My favorite part of the dish was the side of hummus. It was smooth and delicious. will order from here again but probably not from the grill if it is delivery.

This is the best meal you’ll get in Greenpoint. I’ve ordered from here too many times to count, it’s embarrassing. I can’t even open Seamless anymore without going straight to Oasis. First, it’s cheap. $ 10 gets you a full kofte kebab plate with huge portions, delicious smooth hummus, red cabbage, gigantic salad, and pita(tahini and hot sauce on the side). I order this at least once a week and have never been disappointed. My husband and friends have also migrated over to Oasis as a result because we all just can’t get enough. Typically we’ll do a kofte plate with some labne on the side and it’s more than enough for 2 people. Second, delivery is fast. Only once did I wait the allotted 60 minutes, but every other time they’ve arrived within 20 minutes. I’m so glad to find this true gem in Greenpoint!

My saving grace at dinnertime, Oasis is heaven on earth. Their $ 3 falafel sandwich is one of the most incredible things I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Huge, stuffed with falafel, the perfect amount of sauce and spice, and those pickles! It’s just too good not to have at least twice a week. The salads, shawarma, and desserts are also very good(pick up a piece of baklava for later!). Priced for my budget, sized for my appetite.

I have no idea how this place stays in business selling such good food at absurdly low prices but I am sure glad that they do. The $ 3 felafel sandwich is great with the pickled veggies and the tahini sauce. The $ 6 shawarma sandwich is great as well, and the baklava is very good as well. This place is a great spot to grab a very quick and cheap meal, when I have no idea what to eat and I don’t want to spend a ton of money, Oasis is the perfect spot.

Umm… Got the chicken shawarma plate… And it had not ONE but TWO freakin STAPLESINIT, that I almost ate. Yes, I found one and decided to continue eating it, I was hungry and I’m not that picky. But seriously, wtf. VERYDISPLEASED! –also, the mixed shawarma plate is hella dry, I thought it would be less dry than the chicken, no sir. Imma send this place my damn medical bills from the foreign body retrieval I’ll prob need after eating here.

WHATARETHESELOWRATINGSYOUFOOLSHAVEGIVENTHENEWOASIS? I’ve given up on Unilocal specifically because of situations like this. We all know the Williamsburg location is legendary. The falafel is fantastic as well as 3 effing bucks. This new location offers the same exact thing so why are y’all being like this? And the delivery is literally the fastest delivery of my life. It consistently arrives in like 20 minutes. And last night they forgot to include pita with my platter and they brought some back to my apartment in like 5 minutes. So I really think you guys should trust me on this, and not some guy who reviewed a place he walked out of because someone was«FaceTiming at a table.» THISISN’T LECIRQUE! I know this place just opened, so they’re probably still working out their«kinks.» I finally came by on a weeknight to see if it was anything like its counterpart in Williamsburg. I’m a huge fan of their«famous» falafal. First off, it’s really cold out and they need a temporary double door if they want people to actually eat here. There are tables set up and there’s plenty of room for everyone to wait for their food to take home or to eat here. It’s just too damn cold and people keep coming and going. Food cools off quickly and it’s really uncomfortable to eat in a coat. Secondly, you need to make the falafal fresh every time. I wasn’t paying attention when I ordered two sandwiches to stay. I did notice they were prepared rather quickly and served to me in just a few minutes. The falafal wasn’t fresh, it was already cooked and just sitting around, I guess. The mix tasted similar to the original location but it was really lackluster since it wasn’t crispy nor hot. The pita was fresh, as were the salad options. The only thing that sucked was the falafal and this is the main draw to coming here. So do yourselves a favor and take the 30 seconds to plop a few freshies so they can fry up and I can enjoy a yummy sandwich. I know you probably make a bunch to save time, but they’re not good when you leave them sitting out. The pastries were very good, that was a plus and the pricing is great. I’ll definitely be back to try the food again, but I’m going to keep watch and make sure what they’re serving is actually fresh and not just sitting around. You guys have so much potential. You obviously spent a lot of money to open here to accommodate Greenpointers, so do yourselves a favor and stop cutting corners since you have a number of negative reviews. You have the capacity to be as good as the original location… just put in the effort already.
