Came here on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. 8 adults and two children. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was clean. The service was excellent. The view was gorgeous. The food was extraordinarily good and fresh. The total bill was around $ 250 with the added gratuity. No complaints here I will be back. I wasted my time going to Bungalow bar in far rock away a few years back. This place is so much better !

We sat at the bar, since the dining room was full and reservation only. We ordered coconut shrimp, lobster bisque and a dozen little necks. I ordered a wine and we ordered two waters. The bartender brought my wine. We asked for two waters a second time. We were brought one water. The shrimp came in about about three minutes, which was weird but the did taste good. I sort of think they were for another table and the tickets got messed up, or else it takes them 30 seconds to fry shrimp. An hour went by and there were no clams or soup. We asked and they said they were coming. Enough time went by after the first time we asked and we said that we had to go and would just take the check. The food finally came out after that. I don’t know how the servers/bartenders didn’t notice our food had not come. They were busy and the kitchen could mess up, but I would think they could have a little bit of a concern when someone sitting there for over an hour hasn’t gotten two things that don’t even need to be cooked. One of the bartenders didn’t seem to care and the other was extremely apologetic. The manager(I assume, as he was wearing a tie and the others were not) came behind the bar to get a cup full of ice and very audibly and nastily snapped«WHEREISTHE F*CKINGICESCOOPER??» and proceeded to be generally unpleasant to the staff until he walked away. I can’t stand when managers and owners are rude to their employees, especially in front of people. And I think it is super unprofessional to not give a sh*t about your clientele and swear in front of them. If this place is trying to be fancy, it wasn’t doing a good job the day I went.

I couldn’t make reservations by phone, every time I called by phone it was busy but I was able to make a reservations online through Unilocal(Open Table) and it was easy to communicate to the restaurant by message online to confirm my reservations. It’s been years since I’ve been to the restaurant. Love the new renovations and décor. It was a 45 minutes wait… but it was Father’s Day, so it wasn’t so bad… the staff were very friendly and polite. Although they mentioned the kitchen being slightly backed up, we received our food pretty quickly. We ordered baked clams, calamari, shrimp cocktail and coconut shrimp as an appetizer. The calamari was a hit! We had to order a 2nd round of calamari. The baked clams were delicious… all I can say was yummmm! The coconut shrimp was so so. For entrees we ordered the seafood combo(there were 2 different sauces… a red and a white– both were ordered), seafood platter, shrimp scampi and fish & chips. Everything was so yummy… especially the seafood combo, it’s a must have! Everyone raved about the restaurant and no one went home unhappy. Definitely a 5 star sea food restaurant, need to go back again! If your looking for a restaurant to get the best seafood in Brooklyn this is the place to go!!!

This newly renovated under new management is a beautiful on the water(kind of like a creek, but never the less water with boats) sea food restaurant. Counter seating is also available. My only problem is that there was no soft shell crab in any form. We shared an appetizer of potato skins with lobster and cheese. I’ve never seen that on any menu and have to say it was incredible. I could have had 2 portions and had that as a main Shrimp parm was also very very good. Tasty sauce and a large portion Fantastic warm bread was brought to the table when we sat down and more was always added when we gobbled it down(oy, bread is so my downfall — what would weight watchers say??) Great cappuccino to finish meal. Would absolutely go back

Lets just say nothing to write home about as my husband likes to say. I ordered mixed seafood grill. I love seafood and i know how seafood can be difficult to cook sometimes. My scallops were not cooked enough, while shrimp was rubbery and my stuffed fillet needed more cooking time. My husband did enjoyed his shrimp parmesan. I might give this place a second chance to try it again.

Came here for Mothers Day with my wife and stepdaughter. I had made reservations and we were very promptly seated, which was great because the place was packed! Our waiter Jeff was very attentive and an absolute gentleman. And the food? It was OUTSTANDING! The fried calamari appetizer, lobster bisque, baked clams and top neck clams on the half shell were PERFECT! For the main entrée my wife and I had the rock lobster tail and my stepdaughter had the broiled seafood combo. Everything was perfect, perfect, perfect! The food was absolutely delicious. We had actually come here about six years ago and had a very negative experience as far as the service and the food. So I’m very happy to say after deciding to give Nick’s another try that they scored big time on all points. We will most definitely be coming back.

Delicious and fresh. Lobster bisque… so good with lots of lobster pieces. Crab legs were perfection! I’ll definitely be back. Only 4 stars because the waiter I gave my number to never called!!! LOL

Ok, well I’ve been here a few times since the remodel and new Mgmt. And unexpectedly the restaurant is the same but better if that makes sense to anyone, so many times favorite places have reinvented themselves as new and improved and end up being extra costly, less friendly and less palatable, not the case here! The Manager on duty is a pleasure as is the wait staff, food is every bit as good as ever and the remodel and new tap added to bar make this gem shine even brighter.

I came here with my parents for dinner for my mother’s birthday. This is was the first time coming here but it was a pleasant and fun experience. We had to wait for a table but the wait wasn’t long and the staff was really friendly. We had the lobster, fried calamari, crab cakes, chicken parm, snow crab legs, lobster bisque, oysters, and corn on a cob. I liked all the dishes and I would come again/recommend this place to friends and family.

Another one of my favorite places to dine… especially during the summer months. The scenic view is exquisite as I have had an opportunity to eat in this restaurant that overlooks the water. I have experienced being in this lovely place which provides a calming and peaceful ambiance as I eat fresh fish, scallops and linguine. My mouth waters as I wait for the delicious fresh bread and butter to come to the table.

Oh how I love this place. The staff is super. The owner personally came and made sure everything was ok. We were even giving a round of drinks«On the House». The food here is always excellent. You can be served inside or outside by the water. You won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I decided to try something new rather than our usual spot when craving Italian food — L&B. I have been to Nick’s Lobster a few years ago and I remember not being impressed. Our expectations weren’t high b/c we’ve been burned by relying on five star Unilocal reviews before. We were welcomed by a pleasant man by the name of Dimitry. Despite it being very busy, the service was surprisingly fast. The portions were generous. You can essentially share the dishes with another person. The food was simple, hearty and perfectly seasoned. We shared: Calamari: Not too fried which made this dish pleasant. You can appreciate the calamari and the light fried layer. Lobster Bisque: Typically I am not a fan of this soup so I cannot judge it properly. It was light but had some good chunks of Lobster. New England Clam Chowder: Everything was perfect from the potatoes to the clams. Lobster Cream Pasta: The pasta was cooked well, the sauce was just right, and there was an abundance of lobster meat. Conclusion: The owner is doing a great job! My husband is already planning our next trip to Nicks Lobster.

Went in briefly to grab some take out, and was plesantly surprised at the change of the place. Havent been in years. They are in the process of renovating it to be more of an upscale restaurant — so bye bye seafood market — but it doesnt take away from the review. Now they have a bar — yes bar area — and the dining area is cozy & new. There is a glass wall giving you a beautiful view of Mill Basin from the inside. Def a date night must try. New manager Dimitri was very welcoming, attentive, & made sure your experience was a great one. This was just from a brief visit. He even interacted with my kids, who were having a birthday, and they want to go back & eat there. That’s usually a tough sell for me with now 6 year old twins, and the reason I gave this 5 vs 4 stars. Food is the same great tasting seafood you’d expect from Nick’s. Now you can enjoy a great dine in experience with it. Long overdue for them — finally making use of the great location.

The only reason why this is not a five star experience was because service was a little bit on the slow side and our meal got mixed up with another table’s food twice! That being said, I love nick’s lobster. Their lobster bisque makes me drool! I have literally driven across Brooklyn to get some. Sooooo worth it! I also had the shrimp scampi which was very good and have been here on a Tuesday for their two for one lobster deal! Fun! Topped it all off with their sangria which was excellent! I might be back on a weekly basis!

Friendly staff, big menu, delicious food, pretty quiet — so that place is good for a romantic dinner or hanging out with friends. Prices are affordable(specially on Tuesday — when you get 2 lobsters for the price of one). Nick‘s Lobster is a seafood restaurant and seafood there is very fresh. In the hall is a small pool with lobsters, so you can pick your«future meal» if you like. On my way to the exit one of those lobsters almost jumped from that pool. Do you want to have the same experience? Come to Nick‘s Lobster!

The food was really good. I got the lobster cream sauce over linguine. There was so much lobster and it was really fresh and delicious. The bread was also good, but it filled me up so I didn’t end up eating all of my pasta. My mom got the lobster tail scampi. It had split lobster tails over linguine with garlic butter sauce. Hers tasted really good. My grandmother got the fried seafood platter. I tried some of the calamari and it was really good. My only real complaint is that it was really cold in the place. I was also sitting right in front of a vent, which didn’t really help. Our waiter was Jeff and he was very nice and attentive. We will come back when we come to visit next time.

Nick’s Lobster is right on the water and luckily, I got a table right next to the water with a really nice view. We were seated very quickly and the wait staff was very attentive to us. The menu features a bunch of dishes that all look lovely on paper so it’s kind of hard to choose but since it’s a lobster place, I had to get the lobster. I tried the Lobster Scampi with rice and my sister had the Crab Stuffed Shrimp with corn. The Lobster Scampi had pretty good flavor but the lobster was overcooked. The flesh of the lobster was a little tough but pulled away very easily from the shells. The scampi sauce had a pretty decent flavor and it was great to spoon over my rice. I tried the Crab Stuffed Shrimp from my sister’s plate and it was OK but I liked my dish better. The meals are pretty pricey and since my lobster was overcooked, I’m not sure it was worth it but if the execution was a bit better, it would be especially for the portion size. I’d return to try this place again because I think some dishes maybe better than others. Limited parking is available.

The best pasta with clam sauce!!! The portions of chopped and whole clams are generous and tasty to the last bite. I always prefer angel hair instead of linguine and I highly recommend this dish. I tip my hat to the chef for perfection on this one. I have not found pasta with clam sauce this delicious any place else in NY. By the way, I noticed a handful of negative reviews about the service at this place, but I’m pleased to report that our server was awesome. Very attentive and prompt with serving us. We will surely see you again soon :-).
