I try to make it her eat least 3 – 4 times a year. Love that the Asians can speak the Latino language. Food is so good. A mixture of Asian Latino fusion. The best part of this restaurant has to be the mix drinks.

The restaurant moved out of their previous location so I must update my review. Get the pork chops, egg foo young, broiled filet, chicken strips, Iced tea. Bring cash for your tip for the waiters… they get a little grumpy otherwise. I don’t drink liquor so I can’t rate them on that. The waitstaff speak Spanish very well too.

When I come to new apollo they always check up on you to make sure everything is ok. The drink are very tasty and strong. They have the best fried rice in all of Brooklyn. This place is go to spots for Spanish chicken food.

Food reminds me of my childhood, standing on the corner finessing the OG’s into copping arizonas and chinese food for me. Pork Fried Rice is a major key. Goodbye.

I can’t complain much about this place. Their food is excellent. Also the staff are quick(sometimes a lil TOO quick) with their service. Sometimes they ask to take my plate away and I’m not near finished yet. Either way I love coming here. Their lunch specials are great and the portions are plentiful. Always a great spot to get some sodium in the system.

100% satisfied with the drinks here. The food i kept very simple as I’ve seen better Chinese food. The wings were fried hard and the oil could go for a change. Go for the drinks and save yourself a headache. There is a 2 hr max on dining so know what you want and leave. I family was very upset about the food service taking long but the food appeared to be made to order so most likely her order something that takes a while or they forgot his order. Either way, they were quick to talk the gentleman down and get his food out.

I ordered the ribs, and vegetable fried rice, it was oily and tasteless. My order took no longer than 5 minutes the service felt rushed. Will not be ordering from this restaurant anymore first and last time!

Let me start off by saying, you can’t go wrong with $ 10 drinks. My favorite was the ninja turtle; a green apple flavored piña colada, if you will. I had the chicken fried rice and my boyfriend ordered a plate of monfongo con camarones. Both were really good & generously proportioned, plantains were tasty, but you don’t really go here just to eat… Can get a little loud, but it’s a great place for some drinks and some food on the side.

I went here around my birthday. Everything was OKAY. The food was okay. The atmosphere was okay. With an exception to the Blue Hawaiian, the drinks were HORRIBLE! Oh-My-Wow! I tried 3 different drinks(not sure what they’re called) but they sucked. One tasted like medicine. The other tasted like licorice flavored medicine. The last one, I can’t remember. The staff: extremely awkward! Every sentence was«another drink». Meanwhile I have more than a half glass left. Whatever. I doubt I would come here again. I don’t see what people rave about.

Place is a great pre game spot if you’re about to get into a long night of partying. Food is decent here, fan of the house special fried rice with chicken wings. But the best thing here is the Blueys and Banana colada

This place is known for their cheap fusion Chinese/Spanish food and also sm/lg margarita drinks that come in Styrofoam. Not bad but the crowd does get rowdy. Decided to try it once from a friend’s suggestion when I was passing Ridgewood into Williamsburg. Quick service and multilingual so def a plus for those looking for those qualities.

No more take out drinks :( Got the purple haze & the nutcracker. I really feel like there’s cough syrup in these drinks cuz all you need is one & you have drink itis. The purple haze tasted like cough syrup with orange Popsicles. The nutcracker really gets me wasted fast but it is far from delicious. The blue Hawaiian is frozen & tastes like a piña colada & some delicious blue flavor. It’s solidly yummy. The food has never been good.

My cousin found a bug in his fried rice today. I just posted a picture. Don’t eat here, if you do eat at you’re own risk. This is horrible

What I’ve had so far food wise was really good. But then again I don’t think you can mess up chicharrones sin hueso(boneless fried chicken). My other half & his cousin who has had authentic Dominican food, being that they are Dominican lol, even said that the food was good. The drinks are awesome. That’s what everyone comes to get. I don’t blame them, $ 10 gets you a decent sized styrofoam cup that you can take to go! Very good for pre gaming. Why pay $ 20 for a drink loaded with ice at the club, when you can get 32oz of liquor?! Henny Colada, Blue Hawaiian, Pink Hawaiian, Red Devil, & Nutcracker are all good. They don’t skimp on the liquor either. I didn’t like the Jolly Rancher, but that’s because it tastes like watermelon & I hate watermelon. Everyone I introduce to this place loves it. It’s very clean. Even the bathroom is clean! This is our«We want to go somewhere but couldn’t think of a place» spot.

I don’t know what the big deal is about this place. Okay I guess it’s the drinks but having a bun in the oven I had no choice other than to have food only. While the people I were with enjoyed delicious frozen drinks which they told me were strong and yummy, I opted for the crispy pork with onions and pork fried rice. It was just okay. The rice however was really good. I would have just ate a plate of fried rice and would have been happy. We also ordered the chicken wings which were also good! The chicken and broccoli had a funny taste which I think was the sauce. The place was super packed though. I guess it’s a cool spot for quick grub and some good frozen drinks. I probably won’t come to eat, but I am definitely looking forward to coming back for a good drink!

The food at this place is not good but the drinks are the bomb. People seem to love that corner fast food American Chinese food such as pork fried rice with for chicken wings, spare rib tips and such yuck, but then again many don’t know real authentic chinese food, when you are used to something and not exposed to the best or authentic chinese food, then this becomes you high standard because it is all you know. The food was not good but the drinks were and I’m a sure this is what makes this place so popular in the hood. Be smart and just come for the drinks, dont even dine in, take the drinks to go which is what many were doing. Not sure how this could be legal but I guess it’s a hood thing. I guess there are many who like the food, but then again, there aren’t many who know real food.

This was my first visit here to New Apollo restaurant. My friend suggested this place because it was good to him. The décor was very simple, nothing really stood out to me. Not a very large location, they only have about six or seven booth seats. One booth area can hold approximately about six people comfortably. The menu was impressive though, they serve Chinese and Spanish food. There are several combination plates which you can order that are reasonable. The prices are very affordable. The food was very good and I also love the fact that they serve large portions. The drink menu is also very appealing, I guess that $ 10.00 is reasonable price for a drink depending on the fact that I heard they are pretty good. I would definitely come back to New Apollo again because I truly enjoyed myself with the food and my company.

Great great great drinks and good food. Hennessy colada was the bomb. Call a cab was alright but the nutcracker was good and did the job. Chicken lo mien with vegetables was decent. The chicken was really good though. Doesn’t look like the chicken you get at other chinese spots where its questionable. Nope. Even in the chicken and broccoli, which was so tender. Gotta come back! This place is happening on a Friday night.

I came here today for the first time during lunch time and I was able to get a huge amount of chino latino food and a drink with a good amount of alcohol in it. The beverage menu has a different variety of strong fruty and creamy alcoholic drinks. The food menu is a mix between spanish and Chinese food. We ordered the henny colada and Miami vice. The colada was creamy and the vice was fruty and towards the refreshing side. Both were strong and for the size and amount of alcohol they put in them, I thought the price was fair. My bf and I shared the mofongo with pork and we were able to finish only half of it. I couldn’t really taste the flavor of the mashed plantain because they put an asian sauce on top of it. However, the pork was juicy and well cooked. We didn’t dislike this dish but we thought the sauce was a little too heavy. My bf ordered the combination of chicken and broccoli with chicken fried rice and sweet plantains. The chicken was tender and juicy and the broccoli was fresh. The rice was also very very tasty and the plantains were delicious. They were not greasy or overcooked. I had the chicken with Chinese vegetables with the special fried rice and egg roll. The chicken and vegetables were delicious. Again, chicken was tender and juicy and the veggies were fresh and not overcooked. The rice came with chicken, ham and shrimp. The ham was a little salty. The egg roll was the only thing I didn’t enjoy. It was over cooked and it was kind of hard. Maybe it wasn’t fresh? In my opinion, the combination platters are enough for two people to share or are great if you want to have left overs for the next day. The service was good but they want to take your order as soon as you sit down. Also, make sure you bring your ID if you are planning to get drinks because they ask for it.
