Nails by Susan

I have not gotten a mani-​pedi since my youngest entered our world (3+ years ago), so I needed some guidance on a new salon. I used to do my hair and nails in the city, but now that I am a happy SaHM, I needed something close to home. So, after looking at the reviews for this place, I decided to give it a try and I am ever so glad that I did.
The shop was clean and the environment was pleasant. All of the people who work there were polite, friendly, accommodating and professional. My manicurist was Nadia, and my nails came out lovely and my eyebrows have never looked better. My first experience was A+.

I can’t stress how impressed I am with Rita’s work. Although, I can’t speak for anyone else because I haven’t tried anyone other than her yet, but this woman can SKILL a mani & pedi.

Nails by Susan was a nice enough salon. I usually wax my own eyebrows, but I went out on a limb and got them done there. The technician did a beautiful job! Although I must say, the waxing room had melted wax all over the place and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned up in a while.
I also got a pedicure which was pretty good, not outstanding, but overall good. Maybe my expectations were too high after seeing the other reviews, but like most other inexpensive salons, things were not impressively clean and the techs would go in and out of speaking English (so you’re worried they’re talking about how gross your feet are or something).
I will probably go back to Nails by Susan for a pedi, and I will definitely go back to get my eyebrows done.
All in all pretty good.

This is the best nail and hair salon I’ve ever been to for any kind of nail service, waxing, facial, and haircut. It’s been in business for 20+ years for a reason!
Susan gives the best regular manicure that actually LASTS. Sure, there are places you can go to where you think you’re getting a bargain, but the nails chip in a day. Susan’s manicures are the best bc they LAST so long! Her customers call it «the one and only ‘Susan’ manicure!» Plus, she is very gentle with your nails and cuticles, and she is just awesome to talk to about anything!
Mila is the best for waxing and facials. I trust nobody else with my eyebrows, lip, bikini area, etc. except her. She has a special degree for her job so she really knows what she’s doing whereas other places leave you with crooked eyebrows, holes, missing ends, and skin irritations. She also does a ton of manicures and waxing for men.
All the other girls, especially Lisa and Antonella, are great for any kind of wrap, pedicure, permanent French,
Tips, and/​or gel manicure. The jobs comes out stunning! They use the best powder (top of the line) to wrap the nails so they stay strong. They also do a meticulous job with any design or line you want added. They are also great with gel manicures. They use the brands Gelish and Shellac, which give you a huge variety of awesome colors. The nails never break bc they use prime material at this place.
Dara gives an amazing haircut, and does a phenomenal job with coloring, highlights, keratin treatments, styling curls for a night out on the town, and much more. I trust nobody with my hair except her. She also gives a killer blowout.
This place also has an awesome boutique with tons of purses, wallets, clothes, hair pieces, gloves/​scarves, and costume jewelry. Natalie runs the boutique very nicely and always has the most recent fashionable and trendy items. I’m always buying cute things to add to my weekend outfits and dates while I’m here!
What I also like about this place is how everything is so sterile and clean. Spotless as always and smells fresh! Everyone who works here is so friendly and sociable unlike other places that only see you for your money. You really get top service here in every way.
It’s no wonder why people travel from all over to come to this place. Highly recommended overall!

I have been coming to Susan since I was five years old and have practically grown up in this salon. As a little girl I only got my nails done and as I became an adult I started doing all my waxing here. Mila is the eyebrow queen! She shapes and creates the perfect eyebrow for every face.
I have never had my eyebrows or any other waxing as good as Mila. She is truly the best in the business. No one and I mean no one touches my eyebrows.
I stopped getting my nails done here as I no longer live in the neighborhood but this is defintely a service that one should try if they visit the salon. Every technician is as good as the next and they provide quality manicures.
I absolutely recommend coming here for any and all waxing. BTW Mila does a mean facial. She uses products from France and when you leave your skin is glowing.
My advice is if you want a natural looking eyebrow give Mila a call.
