Not an awesome bar in my book but not a bad place neither. Don’t know why people complain so much about the décor, sure it’s not fancy nor sharp and cool looking. The place is not a dive nor have tacky giant HD screens.(Yes I find it weird that non sports bars have huge screens for the patrons… I might as well drink @ home then. And no, I don’t have a giant HD screen at home but I’ll gladly accept one if you are feeling generous.) They have live cuban music on Thursdays along with $ 15 dollar mojito+ a cuban sandwich as a special. The tapas are not bad, some of the dishes are good like the meatballs in squid ink. The staff are usually nice, Robert the bartender is a cool guy and very good at his job.

Eh… was here last night finally and was vastly disappointed. This joint has nothing on the original ñ in SoHo which has been my spot for about 15 years now so I had A LOT to compare it to but this place failed on virtually all accounts for the exception of the food. I am a fanatic of all things Spanish… tapas, music, sangria, flamenco, paella, you name it. This place had NOTHING reminiscent of Spain or it’s culture. The décor was lame, god, I can nearly swear it was the same décor from the bar that was here before. The sangria was watered-down. The music??? R&B??? Yup, R&B ALL night long on Pandora. The crowds? Loud & obnoxious hyenas that belonged in some sports bar, not a loungey atmosphere. This place left a lot to be desired but I do think it has potential, just gonna require lots of work. Not sure that DUMBO was the best location for an ñ outpost.

This is an outpost of the ñ in Soho. Came here for the opening party; It’s in the basement; adjacent to Rice. The menu is the same as the Soho one; decent tapas but nothing memorable. Décor is pretty dull with washed out browns and yellows. Live music is a nice touch; as for the crowd… noisy, generic, stylistically challenged. Could be an option for those seeking tapas in the neighbourhood but not worth traveling for.
