Great place with real people to kick back and watch the game. The owner is super chill and personable. Hope this bar keeps strong for years to come as it really represents the neighborhood.

Disclaimer: I’m rating this place solely on the brunch special that I was told may or may not be discontinued. My arena caught my attention as I was walking through the Neighborhood this past Sunday on my way to «tom’s restaurant» for breakfast. I was drawn in by the music and decided to stay because of the open bar brunch special that was advertised on the A frame sign in front of the restaurant. I could not believe my eyes, they were offering a waffle with bacon and open bar drinks for $ 7.50. This was an offer I could not refused so i abandoned the plan to check toms out and sat down and was immediately served a vodka and OJ. My meal came out in under 10 mins and it was pretty good. Standard waffle, Bacon was thick and crispy. After speaking with the staff I learned that this place has new ownership. One of the new owners had disclosed that the business is in the middle of negotiation with a new chef and they have not decided what direction they will go with the menu. Although my experience with their food is limited to a single brunch entre, I’m giving this place 4 stars mainly because open bar and a meal for 7.50 is an extraordinary value and because the staff was cool and the DJ they had was on point. I will be paying attention to what they do with the menu and if it’s interesting I’ll be back to update my review.

Great chicken burger and fries. Decent Bloody Marys. Really chill vibe. Was here for the World Cup and they had multiple TVs which was nice. Bartender was very friendly and the popcorn was gooooood.

Very cool spot. I went there for an after work drink. Luckily for me it was $ 2 Wednesday. I can’t find fault with a place that serves me 3 Jameson’s and then hands me a $ 6 bill. Very nice décor, professional staff and genius owner. He may be onto something. Looking forward to seeing his ideas unfold.

I really wanted to like this place when I recommended to my brother that we stop in for a drink and possibly a bite. This bar is really really small. It’s cute, but small. They had happy hour at the time and, I must admit, I really did enjoy my martini in these cute glasses. My younger sister was there and the bartender blended her up a nice frozen daiquiri that she enjoyed. As for the food, the menu was horrible. There wasn’t much to choose from and what they had didn’t not seem appealing and was overpriced for what it was. I probably would stop in again during happy hour for a quick drink if I’m looking for a more quite low key environment(which is hardly ever).

Located right on the border of sketchy and pricey(Bed-Stuy/Clinton Hill), this really tiny but awesome bar is a great place to grab a drink and watch some games. Came here with roomie last Sunday to watch the Giants trample all over the Packers(Aside: yeaaaaaaa, shake out the last shred of dignity left in Rodgers after he grew that ridic pornstache for Movember! End of Aside). Prices are decent for the area– $ 5.50 for a beer/cider. $ 6 for a glass of wine. And they also serve food. I was hungry after the 2 minute walk from my apartment so I ordered french fries– the owner(nice guy!) cooked it himself and even threw in an order of chicken fingers(on the house) for me. Unfortunately, I can’t have non gluten free breaded items so I gave them to roomie, who gave me an evil look, because she already ate too much over the weekend but didn’t want it going to waste. The other patrons that night included one grandpa type who looks like Gus Fring from Breaking Bad: D The place is clean and well-decorated. Lighting is just right, it’s not too dark but not too bright either. Dark places where people congregate to meet their future SROs scare me– when the lights come on, everyone’s usually like: Ooooooooh. No. Thanks for playing. I guess I found my new hang out spot. 3.5 stars.
