We met Brian when we were shopping for a guitar for my 10 year old son at the Guitar Center. We were asking him questions, and he seemed so knowledgeable and helpful, that we asked if he gave lessons. Brian has been terrific. He has a quality that few teachers have– an excellent balance between demanding the best, and yet being positive and encouraging. What impressed us when we first met Brian, and continues to hold true, is that he does not talk down to our son. He respects him as a musician and lets my son’s taste guide the material they are working on. My son actually wants to practice, which is perhaps the highest recommendation for a teacher!
