Morena is an excellent cosmetologist with 25 years of experience. Definitely I recommend this beauty salon, she’ s been my barber for the last 4 years.

Let me start by saying that I’m particular about who does my hair. I have waist length, relaxed hair and Dominican Salons is where I go. Over the years I have been to several hair salons were stylists are terrible. Sonia is phenomenal. I have known her for over 3 years and she is the only one that relaxes my hair. Let me explain.
I decided to «go natural» and did not relax my hair in over 10 months. 2 weeks ago, I washed my hair and could not for the life of me put a wide toothcomb through it. I WAS MORTIFIED! Well after 50 minutes of carefully combing my hair it was detangled (note — there was nothing different about my hair care régime). Fast forward to this Friday — I washed my hair again, and again my hair was a hot mess. I called Sonia and explained the situation. She calmly said, «Come see me». Enough said.
Sonia listens and asked questions. I can’t stress how many stylists don’t. First of all she carefully listened to me tell her about my hair journey while making observations on my hair. Touching it, parting it, asking me if my scalp was sensitive since the last time she saw me. I also appreciate that even though other clients arrived she never lost sight of the fact that I was in her in her chair (as other Dominican stylists tend to do).
Well 3 hours later my hair was back to its beautiful glory (I got my hair roller set and sat under the hair dryer for 1 ½ hour, due to the length of my hair).
I cannot say enough about her. She is pleasant, kind and cares about your hair.
