Yeah… Had it once. Gave it a 2nd try. There’s much better vegan around. Also, it’s expensive. I don’t mind paying if it’s worth it. Don’t get me wrong the food is okay but there’s really little value.

They changed the menu recently and it was worth it. Everything we ordered was excellent, and it’s nice that they decided to offer a variation on the standard«Kosher dairy in NY, pizza, pasta, fish, sushi» menu. They have all of that(sans-sushi) but a smaller and better menu, with great presentation, and a different twist on everything. The waiter was also excellent, which helps a lot. highly recommended.

Came here for a party and was seated in a separate private room. This restaurant is great and not just for«kosher». The atmosphere was nice, bright and clean. The service was excellent– our waitress was kind, quick, accommodating without being overbearing. The drinks were delicious, and so was the food. Everything came out quickly and tasted very fresh and well seasoned. There was something for EVERYONE on this menu and we were a diverse crowd. The portions were very large, and everything we ate was delicious. In the end, no one complained about anything except for how full they were! Would definitely recommend for dates, birthdays, events and even take out!

Celebrated a l’chaim here. Had most of the appetizers, and they were all great! Really enjoyed the buffalo«wings». Had the potato gnocchi and requested it with vodka sauce and it was no problem! Tasted great! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the customer service. Portions are good, Definitely recommend!

I have been to Mint twice in the last 2 weeks for dinner. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Original menu was all vegan which was good. They have since added fish, eggs, and dairy which is a big improvement. We had the Kale Greek. Very tasty and definitely a repeat. Buffalo wings were very good– spicy. For entrees, the lemon tuna is a must. Comes with cauliflower mash and sautéed spinach. Miso glazed salmon was also good. Last week I had the Dirty Girl– black rice and veggies. Loved it. Inventive drink menu but not cheap. Portions were generous… no room for desert. Best option in the area for vegan and vegetarian food.

I think most of the negative reviews you read are from unhappy meat eaters who didn’t get their share of antibiotics from their meat at this place, cause it doesn’t offer meat options which I think is just great, if you want meat go somewhere else. That being said, their buffalo wings are amazing! I will be coming back for more of that! Last night I came in for the Dirty Girl plate and it was just amazing, forbidden rice with pesto, and lots of tasty veggies! Totally yum! Price wise it’s a bit pricey but your paying for«kosher» food, blessed by the rabbi power or something. Nah but seriously, for $ 8 a platter like the wings was great! I think it was perfect. Keep up the great work Mint! I’ll be coming back for more! And will drag my friends! Can’t wait for them to try the fish options!

Okay we went and tried it again and sadly left hungry. The service was poor once again and after reading everyone’s review. I see I’m not alone. To the owners. Vegans eat a lot of healthy foods which are not as calorie dense. Adding another head of Lettuce for 69 more cents won’t kill you.

I guess 3 stars is the consensus on this one, but I almost feel bad for agreeing. the food is good – sometimes great, and it’s in an area where vegan is so scarce. but I came in hungry, and the wings, while delicious, were teensy tiny, and more than half my plate was celery and carrot sticks. I know it’s called a «small plate», but come on. I did not pay $ 8 to eat some celery and dip

The food is pretty good. I had the chipotle burger which was well seasoned and fries. However, the portions are minuscule and a bit overpriced. Lastly, pay attention to the check if you eat here. I noticed that they added a gratuity to my check even though I was only with one other person.

Give it a few more months and maybe it’ll get better. Food is bland and overpriced for what they’re serving. Plus, adding an automatic 18% gratuity for a party of two is nonsense. But it would explain why we hardly saw our server during our meal, her tip was already guaranteed! EDIT8÷19÷15: When I wrote this review in January, this place was all vegan. Clearly that has changed…

I’ve sent several queries to the establishment to understand whether adding an 18% gratuity to a party of two is standard practice, and I can’t get an answer. FYI, you are supposed to inform a customer upfront(before they eat) if you are going to add a gratuity.

3 Stars because as a vegan I must show my support. Last time I had a really good meal in a vegan restaurant in Midwood/Bensonhurst was about 10 years ago, and they didn’t last long. Food is alright. Given the choices we have around here you can’t complain. If you like Soy and Sake from West Village, you can tell at least a portion of the whole menu is «inspired» from it. It looks very similar but doesn’t taste the same. I do agree that the portion is too small for the price though. Please be advised if you call for delivery, the lady will tell you if it’s «walking distance» its free, otherwise is $ 10 delivery fee!!! Lady, if I can walk there, I wouldn’t need delivery…

Placed a delivery order to my office and they couldn’t get it right. I had ordered the Grilled Tofu Club. I’m not sure what i received. I know i received a slab of tofu separate from anything, no veggies or bread. I will give them credit for quickly fixing the order and delivering it in less than 15 min. The food itself was ok, really on the salty side. I wasn’t impressed. The menu also seems over priced. Can’t say that I would be ordering from here again.

I was super excited to try this restaurant, but after my lunch I was so disappointed. What a let down. The foods flavor was good and everything was fresh, but the portions were tiny and so overpriced for the amount of food I received. It’s to bad they didn’t increase their portions. I know this is vegan but a person still needs to eat a normal amount. The salad was child size. Not sure how fast I will return.

Simple affair, refined décor with music playlist that does not really match with the higher end interior ambiance. A good intention of approach to a much needed vegan menu for this area, however for the range of price point suggested, one would expect the food would come in a more technically realized execution. The waitstaffs are very attentive and friendly, which what helped and draws me back as often as my budget allows.

So far so good! Brand new vegan spot a bit of a way from me, but I love to try the new vegan things! Went for lunch and got the Spicy Buffalo Wings with Pistachio Blue Cheese($ 9) to start. Portion size was a bit underwhelming, given the price(see photo), but the flavor of the buffalo sauce and the«blue cheese» dressing was amazing. I like a bit meatier of a texture on my seitan but the flavor here was delicious. «Tuna» wrap($ 10) was my decision for lunch. It was definitely sort of bland and there wasn’t a good ratio of wrap to filling. The taste of the wrap overwhelmed the taste of the chickpea tuna. Needed more mayo and more seasoning. The red onion pickle on the side was nice. I think they may do their own pickling here. They brought out some pickled carrots and cauliflower between courses. Staff was friendly and the place is really new, clean, and nice looking. Food was all fresh even if that wrap was bland. I always dig freshness :) I am curious to try them out for the tasty and heftier looking dinner entrees and will report back. UPDATE: Not all-vegan anymore. Still plenty of vegan options including the ones mentioned in this review.

Important to know: When you sit down and your server asks if you want for regular or sparkling water, explicitly say tap water or they will bring you nicely bottled water which will cost you $ 7. They lost a star for that. Other than that, everything was great. We had good service and I really liked the food that I ordered. We ordered a macro plate as an appetizer to share and it was fantastic. It had an assortment of really tasty healthy foods. For our mains, he had the steak n’ fries and I had the grilled tofu club. I think I liked my entrée more than my friend did, but we both really enjoyed it. I would definitely go back.

Just went here last night and I must say they conquered the two more important components to a successful restaurant 1) Service 2) Food Many restaurants either have one or the other. The owners and the waitstaff really deserve an A+. Very patient and the food was incredible. Although I am against checks that automatically add the tip, I doubled it because i give credit where credit is due.
