Great food, pricing is normal for the area and Mikes been around for so many years. I’ve been going there since I was a little girl when Mike had the little pizzeria a couple doors down from where he is now. The place now is larger, more modern and you can really tell that a lot of thought and love was put into this newer spot. So many memories!

Ordered take out from here last night. Ordered a large order of calamari. In normal Italian restaurants I would expect calamari. However, at this place it’s half an order and underneath is a large amount of French fries! At no time did anyone tell me that there were French fries with the order. Apparently there is a different menu item for calamari! I find this shady and unprofessional. If they are cheating customers out of calamari, I would hate to think what other ways they are cheating customers. I will never order from this place again!

This place is just awesome ! It’s located in a quiet place so it’s never crowded, which is a huge plus if you want to eat in The décor inside is very appealing, it seems like someone(I guess Mike himself) is putting so much effort into each detail, most of mom-n-pop pizzerrias in Brooklyn are so poorly run, so poorly maintained… I just want get my stuff and get the hell out of there. …@ Mike’s I’m always tempted to enjoy my pizza inside … 2 flat screens also help Their pizza can rival best pizzeria in NY no doubt !

Mike’s been in the same spot for sooo long now. They actually moved over by a couple of feet to next door. Anyways good pizza, fair price, vast menu and if your gonna stay to eat they offer two HDTV’s.

This is definitely a great place for Pizza in the neighborhood. They have a lot of different pizza’s and they’re all well made either by Mike or whoever’s there. Prices are typical, nothing special, about 2.25 a slice now. But yeah it’s thin and crunchy and delicious. And not overly greasy either!

I work around the corner from the joint and tried it out by recommendation of my co-workers. Before I go on to the place, I gotta tell you it is one of the prettiest«neighborhood» styled pizzerias I’ve seen. They even have modern cash registers with all the computer gadgetry not heard of in traditional places(I get a kick out of Mike, who is probably near 70, using it without a hitch). As for the pizza, it’s amazing. The squares are great, but you gotta try the ones with fresh mozzarella. I’m also a big fan of their platters, like the breaded chicken cutlet. Now let’s talk service… these guys are just awesome. Mike, some other dude(dunno if he is his son or something), and a half mexican/half ecuadorian dude handle it all themselves. They always greet with a smile and throw in discounts and freebies once in a while. I highly suggest this place if in the area. Shit, if you’re that close, hit me up and we’ll grab some food together!
