I love this place so much it’s insane. This is my neighborhood bar and seriously, I am so spoiled. All of the bartenders are lovely and really know their craft! The cocktails are superb but you can always feel comfortable going for the $ 3 Schaefer beer if that’s your style. The décor is a great mix of speakeasy woodsiness while still being comfy and cozy. Props to Lucey and Henry and all of the rest of the staff for making me (and frankly, anyone that walks in here) feel welcome any time, day or night. A Gowanus/​Brooklyn gem — definitely worth a visit.

Wow! I move back to Brooklyn and this bar has me so glad I did! This is exactly what I am wanting in a cocktail bar: good drinks, fast service, and interesting bartenders. The music is a little old, but works for the aesthetic and vibe of the place. I’ve only been by a few times so far, and it seem like the friendly bartender Chris is there every time. He made me things from the menu as well a couple custom drinks that have been absolutely amazing. I think this guy may be the best bartender I have seen in Brooklyn so far. Ask him for a snap pea gin gimlet, you won’t have disappointment! The other older bartender seems to be good and fast to, but seems very grumpy and like he’s having a lot of stress, I think maybe he’s a manager. A couple times I see him get very angry and yell behind the bar which is not so professional. This is my only problem with the place and it’s not such a big one. No matter what, I will be coming back for sure for having more amazing cocktails soon!

Great place. The cocktails are wonderful although the level of greatness can be depend on who is on the shift. very cozy, ideal neighborhood cocktail bar.

This bar is amazing! The drinks are so unique and the bartenders will make the drink that you want. The atmosphere is so chill and everyone is friendly and accepting of all people. I highly recommend this place. So glad I found it.

Continue to enjoy this bar. Everyone is very friendly and has a great attitude. The patrons at the bar are also very interesting people who are friendly and enjoyable to converse with. Definitely a great place to go if you want a really unique drinks in a casual environment. I highly recommend checking our Lucey’s!

Love this place. Great neighborhood spot and quality cocktails. The only reason why I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the bartender, Roberto. He is extremely rude and impatient (and his cocktails aren’t that yummy either!). Wish Lucy’s Lounge would get rid of him, because it would be absolutely perfect without him (all of the other bar staff members are superb). Come here when Roberto isn’t working and you will have a truly remarkable experience.

Very tasty and potent cocktails, but you pay a premium for them. The interior décor isn’t exactly what you’d expect, but it’s comfortable enough.
Popcorn go free at the bar, and it’s quite tasty. Also, there’s lots of treats in a basket in the bathroom!

Had a wonderful time at Lucey’s lounge! Wonderful vibe, great music and the most exquisite cocktails! Plenty of unique options for wine and beer lovers as well!
Love the intimate, cozy and romantic ambience. The back seating area and patio garden would be magical for a special occasion like a bridal, baby shower or any gathering of your favorite people! Henry and his crew are passionate about cocktails and creating a welcoming atmosphere for a diverse crowd that includes plenty of devoted regulars! If I lived nearby, I’d be one of those devoted regulars but I sure look forward to my next trip back!

No food served. If you want to get really drunk on an empty stomach, this is the place to go.
The seating area in the back is outdated and does not appear clean.
I do not recommend this place.

Lucey’s lounge has alchemists in place of bartenders. The cocktail list is extensive and well curated. Drinks are complex, yet never precious. I return often.

I went here for a drink after dinner with some friends. We sat at the bar but they do have some tables in the back. The drink menu is great! They have so many different kind of cocktails. The bar tenders are mixologists, so it’s really cool to watch them make the drinks. I had this drink called the elder and my boyfriend had the Brooklyn banger. We liked them very much. I can’t wait to try others on the menu!

Love Luceys Lounge feels like you are at an Old Speakeasy! Love the cocktails and the beers, especially the Schaefer Beer (brings back great memories as my dad and my uncles always drank Schaefer when I was growing up)! Lucey is a wonderful host and his bartenders are fantastic mixogist! Very cool place!

Wow another awesome bar in my area. I have lived in this area for almost 2 years now and still encounter great bar after bar. My girlfriends and I were went to wait in line for The Rub only to discover the wait was already like 100 – 200 people by 11pm that Saturday. We Unilocaled what was nearby and were pleasantly surprised. My friend and I each ordered a warm flavored drink. My buttered rum was pretty amazing and hit the spot on a freezing night. I also enjoyed the free popcorn — not sure what the seasoning was, but addicting! Just a great neighborhood, cozy, laid back vibe. Thank you Gowanus for continuing to be so awesome.

I am smitten with Lucey’s Lounge.
This gem of a cocktail bar is nestled (read: HIDDEN) under the rumbling F train on 3^rd avenue and 10^th Street.
The cocktails are KILLER — artisanal with a captial A, made fresh with delicious ingredients youve never heard of. Its never crazy crowded, which makes it ideal if youre an adult-​like me-​who actually wants to have a conversation with my guest (s). And the best part? The candy dish in the restroom. If you see someone stuffing their pockets with Tootsie Rolls and lollipops, it’s most likely moi.

Lucey’s Lounge is one of the few places where the bartender knows what s/​he is doing and can mix a proper cocktail. I’m a wine and beer girl personally, but a well-​made mixed drink is refreshing on a Spring evening.
Every last Wednesday of the month, Lucey’s has a comedy show with a pretty great line-​up, including live music and incredibly funny comedians.
The ambiance is an old fashioned, speak-​easy style that is dimly lit, casting shadows and dark corners throughout the space. I love the tin ceilings (very classic New York). They also have a great patio in the back.
Lucey’s is worth checking out for a unique and interesting find down in the Gowanus.

A gem of a place! Wonderful owner makes for a homey space. Try the «Twice Bitten» cocktail, and if you’re brave try the «Thrice Bitten»! Will definitely be coming back.
The popcorn is great, and there is a cool backyard place.

Get the Old fashioned!!! It’s my favorite!
Great bar with a comfy relaxed atmosphere. It’s definitely become my neighborhood hang out!
If you’re lucky, Lucey (the owner) will be there and you can hear some amazing stories or just discuss different types of alcohol and their history.
There’s a piano in the back and comedy shows every last Wednesday of the month.

Even still, the place is so comfy and cozy and the bartenders make the best cocktails south of 9^th Street. The popcorn is awesome and the music selection is always on point with jazz, latin music, or smooth bar tunes.
Do yourself a favor and give money to Lucey’s Lounge. Order a Rosemary’s Baby or better yet a signature style drink. Their cocktail list changes by season so right now they are heavy into scotch but honestly they do everything right here.
