A week ago I came to the Cabaña Rodríguez for the first time was very impressed A rating. The mofongo was delicious and I ordered blood sausage was very tasty. Today June 4th I brought my daughter and bragged of how great this spot, but was greatly disappointed, the restaurant part needs a good cleaning team to go in and clean the mirrors, windowds the éxito door, There’s s side door apparently to a basement cluttered with boxes of supplied, the tables need to be cleaned after every patron finished and leaves. U had to ask the waitress to please clean our table before we could sit/dowm to order, mind you the dinning room was empty at 2:44pm Saturday afternoon. Not happy at all!!! Like I said very disappointed!!!

The rotisserie chicken is dry and tasteless they always screw the order up there’re dysfunctional and forget about dining in this dump wouldn’t eat here again. Want good Spanish food go to 5 avenue and 48 street in sunset park

I’ve been ordering from La Cabana for over 10 years. The food is usually good have not had a bad experience with food quality. The wait for the food is a hit or miss at times, sometimes it’s 5 minutes sometimes or it could be 25 minutes. The customer service has improved since they’ve reopened in 2014. If you want some good Spanish food in the neighborhood la cabana is good.

The food here is always amazing, fresh and authentic! The only place I will get Cuban food! I recommend anyone to go here, just expect a 20 to 25 min wait time as they are making your scrumptious food FRESH!!!

It’s alright. They’re open super late, which is wonderful. Chicharrones de pollo at 4am is alright with me. I had the chuletas one time and they were nothing special. Definitely recommend the chicken, though. If you’re dying for rice and beans, this will hit the spot, but it’s definitely not grandma’s. That said, I am probably dying for rice and beans more often than the average bear, so I will definitely be back. Probably at 4am.

Always get the roasted chicken, rice and beans. Its only $ 8. I usually throw in a side of sweet plantains. Been ordering pick up from this place for years.

Nothing special about this place… typical Spanish food… Service SUCKS! the only reason why this place is crowded at times is because it’s the only Spanish restaurant in the area! The people who work here look so miserable!!! Not worth my time or money!

The BEST Dominican food in Brooklyn! I have been coming here for years and it’s run by the same family and the same woman is taking orders! She’s not friendly but she’s efficient, fast, and the food is to die for! Get the steak, white rice, and beans! Awesome! Fried chicken is a bit salty but always hot and fresh! Definitely a Flatbush GEM!

Great option for a cheap dinner, delicious if you’re seeing a show at kings theater. We stumbled upon this place which looks really popular with locals(always a good sign). You do have to nudge your way in at the counter to get served(my less aggressive friend was up there for like ten minutes). I had this fried mashed plantain dish — filled with chicken and beans — called mofongo — had never heard of it(and I love platano). It was a little dry but then they brought out a salsa which made it really lovely. Light Spanish is not necessary but useful.

don’t come here if you are white, asian, or gay unless you want to be treated rudely.

Been going here since I was a little girl and I still love it! Great Spanish food. Fried pork, per il and pepper steak are great. And of course can’t forget the fried chicken and rice with grandules. Really long wait time but good portions for the price.

This is my favorite spanish in Brooklyn. They have thee best tasting chicken and stew beef in Brooklyn. They also sell drinks if you’re looking for a buzz. Its open pretty late & they deliver to near by neighborhoods. They do accept cards however its a $ 10 minimum. Its also good to know what you want before getting there/standing in line because the customers behind you are never patient. Its sort of like a buffet style but you dont scoop your own servings, you can just look at the food. Oh & if your a fan of fried chicekn, get 3 pieces for $ 3, trust me you’ll love it.

Great food. Little over priced. and not a lot of room… But the food was delicious. I would go again. The service was good

Food is good and the price is reasonable for Spanish food. However, the service is horrendous, the staffs spend more time conversing in Spanish with each other, then actually taking customers order. The place definitely need a makeover, even though, it has a grade A on the door.

This is spot you go to after you leave the club @ 4am in the morning. The food is always great with that Latino flair of spices and peppers, with a one 2 punch of rude woman that are serving you lol.

It is OPENAGAIN! The food is still amazing and it’s always a line of ppl ordering take out! Today my friends and I took it back to the old neighborhood for our Dominican fried chicken we grew up on! We so happy the food was still good despite being closed for a couple of months! Prices are very reasonable! However they need to work on getting workers that speak English, get the sauce for the fried green plantains and get hot sauce that is hot! Also make sure to have cash or use the ATM because they don’t do debit/credit cards!

The pork chops had a good taste; they didn’t have or need or ton of seasoning. I thought I was getting«classic» rice and beans but these were sauceless. Things improved with the arrival of the optional gravy. On the way out I saw the fried chicken in the window and it looks like the right choice for next time.

love the rice and beans, the sweet plantains where so good too the beans they had were small, I like bigger chunkier beans, but its very flavorful and perfect seasoning, great prices for a large portion!

Fried chicken is salty as hell… Be careful diabetics… Fried Pork is all fat and bones!!! Barely any meat. The relleno de papa is one of those cheap no frills mashed up Jamaican Beef Patties Place is disgusting. I love being back in BK but unfortunately their is no decent Spanish food in my area. Gotta travel…
