Walked by here last night. Looked like new construction going on inside and a new name. Let’s just hope those aren’t the only changes being made. RIP Kitchen Delight. You really, really sucked.

I have ordered here twice and the first time, the food was two hours late despite my calls, as well as being cold and soggy. Out of desperation, I ordered again tonight and after 1h 15m, I called. They told me they couldn’t find my street. That was crap because it’s an easy and well known street. Also, I asked the person on the phone why neither he nor the delivery person didn’t call me to ask me. I can’t comment on how their food is hot, but so far they’re a total waste of time and money.

Ummmm. .. I really really liked my burger. As a California-transplant, it felt like this burger was everything an In-n-Out burger aspires to be. Yes, it’s a bit fast-foody, but there’s a real grill! with real people!

This place had so much promise and potential to be a great late night eats place. They opened with same pretty darn good food(for what it is), but has fallen into the habit of making just bad food. First the fries are now total fast food fries, the kind that come frozen in a bag. Yeah, i am not going to have anything to do with that. When they first opened they had fresh cut potato fries, that were seasoned with salt and herbs beautifully. There were times I would just get an order of fries they were so good. Now, not s much. In fact the last time I had food from here, I begrudgingly shared some fries. To say that we came no where near finishing them would be an understatement. I would have much rather had an order of cream of wheat flavored with Pepto-bismal. Truly awful wretched stuff. They also used to have this great cucumber salad. Basically a quick pickle of cucumber slices that was so nice and flavorful. Now, not so much. I guess it is too much work for them to do, you know peal and slice cucumbers; after all, it is hard to get cucumber slices in fast food ready frozen bags… The veggieburger pretty much tastes the same as when the place opened. Nothing outstanding about it, but not bad in any sense. But this is the only redeeming factor for the place, and it is a solid meh. I have eaten in twice, and both times out on their little deck(2 tables little) in the summertime. I would hardly suggest eating inside, as they usually have utter crap on their TV(we are talking wrestling, bad action movies, bevis and buthead, etc). But, what do you expect from a place where an employment requirement seems to be «must be stoned at all times.» At this point the only time I could ever see myself eating here is if i just got back from a trip at 4 am and was starving. But I really think i would just go to the Sumac down on 7th and get something else really. So, really avoid at all costs.

Didn’t even know this place existed until we ate there on the 4th of July. Yummy Sandwiches, Open Late, and a nice little place to grab a quick inexpensive bite to eat. By the way, this place is in BROOKLYN, not Manhattan as the Unilocal info says.

After work tonight, I stopped here for dinner on my way home. My order: a cheeseburger and frieds, with a Coke. The Super Delight Burger meal. I waited maybe 10 minutes for my burger, sitting at a table on the small outside deck. Several orders that followed mine came up before mine was ready, which was kind of confusing, but I can’t really say that service was slow. The burger was excellent, fresh lettuce and tomato, with a slice of garlic pickle. Very big, and cooked really well. Only downside was that the bun was slightly too warm, so the burger was a challenge to grip tightly to eat. While I ate the burger first, the fries may have cooled too much, so I don’t think I got an accurate impression. They’re like how I remember KFC fries to be, which bodes well. Not a bad little place on my walk home — a welcome addition to the neighborhood! Perhaps slightly better than Bean, the old burrito joint that used to be here.

I went to this place looking for some cheap greasy, food. It’s also open until 5 am, which is a plus. Both times I went were between 3−5p.m. with no line. I heard about the long waits for your order, but both times I received my food in 10 – 15 minutes, which isn’t too bad, The hot dog was DELICIOUS– fresh with that«just grilled» taste. The fries are pretty good, nothing amazing though. The second time I had the pastrami poppers which were also really, really good. The bun was nice and fresh, but they overdid it with the mustard. Overall, I recommend this place. I didn’t have to wait long for the food and the prices are decent.

NOTRECOMMENDED. GOTOSPARKY’s I went to Kitchen Delight around 3:15pm they had a line out the door but on closer inspection I realized almost everyone in the line was angry because they had been waiting too long for their food. One woman actually started crying, demanded her money back and stormed out. Others were required to repeat their orders several times before getting the right one. I was determined to try them out — I asked for a cheese burger — $ 4.75, gave them a tip of $ 1.25, and told them I was in no rush, I came back 15 minutes later to find that they had no recollection of my order at all. They actually seemed exasperated at me when i recited my order for them and in a remarkable 2 minutes they gave me my burger to-go, shooing me out of the store. When I took the first bite I discovered that the burger they gave me was completely RAW. Did I mention that I’m 7 months pregnant? I returned to the store received a round of sincere apologies and a replacement burger that was cooked properly but pretty substandard as burgers go. By the time I left it was 4:30 and this«fast food» had taken an amazing hour and fifteen minutes. NOTRECOMMENDED!!! GOTO SPARKYs for fast delicious and COOKED burgers.
