This location is well stocked with a variety of produce, bevarages, etc. The supermarket is clean and well organized. I was able to find everything I needed and the prices were reasonable. You can even purchase a nice bouquet of flowers for your home from just outside the entrance of the store. My only complaint is that the supermarket employees are not fully aware of the products the store carries. For instance, I asked the person at the customer service counter if the store sold knives and he said it didn’t. When I got to the yogurt section guess what I found… Knives. Other than that one issue, I have no complaints so far. The store employees are polite and helpful. Even the person who didn’t know the store sold knives was very nice. I will definitely visit this location again.

This place never disappointed me, so I will leave a good review. They always have kombucha drinks available in an abundance of flavors! It’s very hard finding kombucha around my neighborhood and I’m so glad it’s within a walking distance! (When it comes close to the expiration date, they have sales). Usually one bottle of JT’s kombucha is around 3.75 or 3.95. On sale I bought 2/$ 7! Also the store itself is pretty large and well kept from what I have seen!

It takes relocating to have more appreciation for places like this. This market is well kept and organized. Their selection of fresh produce is great and overall their prices are good too; they always have a lot of good sales going on. Unlike some other markets, they don’t have a card minimum which is greatly appreciated as well.

Not sure why this place is getting 2 star reviews… It’s a typical, if small, Key Foods. For its size, it’s well-stocked. The meat, which is sometimes sketchy at smaller neighborhood supermarkets, is good here and for the quality, the prices are better than other supermarkets I shop at. There’s a decent selection of frozen foods of various sorts — from vegs to frozen meals to ice cream. Lots of dairy choices(different brands of yogurt, etc.) They also have a nice selection of Latin American groceries, and not just the usual Goya stuff. Produce is relatively expensive, but it’s not bad looking here, and the prices are typical for chain supermarkets. Those who value savings over convenience already know to shop the smaller neighborhood produce markets… Personally, I’ve never encountered attitude from the employees, but I guess it happens everywhere, sometimes. And then, some customers have more than their share of attitude themselves… What are you gonna do? ETA: Yes, the in-store«Manager’s Specials» are usually close to expiration, but honestly, that’s pretty typical for all supermarkets — that’s why they’re being marked down, usually at a pretty steep discount. But the regular weekly sales listed in the chain-wide circulars & on their website are normal items, not stuff a particular store is trying to get rid of before they have to pull it from the shelves.

Key food is your average supermarket that has anything from flowers to groceries. The place makes deliveries which is good on those bad rainy/snowy days. The place has fresh meat which guarantees the good quality you will receive. The place can get crowded at times which is kinda of a disadvantage. This is due to the small idles between different sections. Either than that, I see no other problems. There are a lot of staff to keep things moving quick and smoothly. The staff helps you find products you might be looking for… All for your satisfaction. The prices are pretty much the same as any other place so don’t expect big discounts like huge supermarkets such as BJ’s. Not a bad place to check out.

Comparing to other Keyfood venues, this one rocks. A great variety of foods, everything is always fresh and extended choice of organic cold cuts and dairy unlike other Keyfood locations I’ve been to.

I come here almost everyday. High points relatively clean, on site bread bakery, good prices, fresh products. Low points absolutely no parking, the deli has only two guys that are hygienic, stop talking when your cuting cold cuts your spitting on my cold cuts, I will leave them in your store. The meat dept is good but the butchers need to use the bone scraper a little more and scrape the bone dust off the cuts on both sides of the meat not just the side I can see while it’s in the meat case, that’s just laziness. The produce section is mediocre to good. I really wanted to do 4 stars but it didn’t make the cut.

Before I went grocery shopping at Key Food, I skimmed through their weekly circular and saw that the San Pellegrino Water is on sale, 2(25.3 oz) for $ 3. Also, there is a sales slip taped on the shelf. So the SPWs are clearly on sale 2 for $ 3. The cashier rang up all my items and I saw that the SPWs showed up as $ 2.50 per a bottles, I spoke up, and another key food worker went to do a price check. She came back and said, «The 2 for $ 3 is for the smaller bottles and I think it’s all sold out.» I then said, «Not according to the circular and the sales sip taped on the shelf.» I ended up not buying it and from now on I will be using my money at a different supermarket. Y’all have no integrity.

The best grocery in rather travel here and walk an hour then go to the supermarkets in my neighborhood. I wish I knew about this key food earlier. It’s clean and the staff are friendly. I would spend the whole afternoon walking around they have amazing foods at reasonable prices. Did I forget to say how clean the store is?

This place gets two stars… the people that work there are unprofessional… when I I ask for something they would say go look for it yourself… ok if you hate helping customers why work at a supermarket I don’t understand… Across the street is met food another supermarket which is like competition… They keep lowering the prices while the key food always stays the same… only reason I even step inside this store cause my family comes here just for the hell of it… I for one do not find food-shopping fun when I’m here…

Are you a salad lover? Then you must try the Tri-Color Pasta Salad!!! It is very fresh ‘n delicious. No wonder I keep on coming back for more! The groceries price is right at this Key Food, much better than some of the nearby supermarkets.

One of the cleaner Keyfoods in the Brooklyn area. Most of them are old and dirty with bad management. This location however had clean aisles, nice staff and pretty good tunes(yes the music playing in the supermarket helps me shop better). Just no parking, which can suck if you have a lot of bags to carry to the car.

It’s the only choice in the area for supermarket shopping unless you feel like trekking to the Shop Rite on McDonald Avenue(which you’d be better off sometimes). Prices are okay here. If you need to do some moderate shopping for food then come here. If you live in the neighborhood, you know to visit the nearby produce markets for any veggies or fruits cause they’re much cheaper most of the time. Do keep note of their sale items though as most of them will expire soon. If the meat’s on sale, and ready to expire, pop it in the freezer and you should be fine.

prices are standard for these kinds of supermarkets, beware though, anything on sale has a good chance of being expired; so if you see something on sale, check the expiration date before you buy!
