If you want to eat and taste the best Shawarma ever this is the place to go. I have tried various shawarma y different places but this is by far the best ever. I use to drive from New Jersy to Brooklyn just to have it. The make the most delicious food there. But my favorite is the Shawarma(the chicken) is my favorite. Dont go by what I say«GOTRYIT» you will love it. Guaranteed To bad they are so far from me now but hopefully I will visit Brooklyn soon my first stop is going to be Karam Restaurant.

This place is great. They definitely have the best tabouli salad in the area! I also ordered a Shish Taouk Sandwich. The only bad thing I could say about it was that they used a Frank’s red hot sauce on it but that was my fault because I asks for hot sauce. I assumed they would have something more authentic. The sandwich otherwise was delicious. They have a ton on pies which looked incredible. I’ll be sure to try one next time.

The chicken schwarma is a life changing sandwich. Yeah, it’s that good. All the other stuff is high quality homemade that you can’t go wrong with, but that sandwich. It’s ‘last meal on earth’ worthy.

omg, the chicken shawama was superb! so satisfying! service was quick and friendly, the place is kind of small, but have few seatings if you decide to stay.

I haven’t been to this place in some time so stopped in for a quick bit of lunch and based on a bunch of things to do I placed my order to go. On arrival the place was rather busy and they were dishing out the orders fast and furious. I didn’t wait more than five minutes and ordered up a Falafel sandwich and an order of the grape leaves with beef and rice. This space is quite small and while there are a handful of tables there, each is made for no more than two patrons and you will be standing directly with folks at the counter ordering. Depending on the time of the day this could be annoying. Over the speakers, Arabic music was playing and some of the staff was humming along to it and if you need to speak the language as well the staff can definitely work with you there. The experience was quick but a pleasant enough one and my food was very tasty. Perhaps I will get there again soon and try some of the other offerings. I like a few different kinds of Middle Eastern cuisine and the price was very reasonable. My two items ran me just under $ 10. Give them a try if you are in the vicinity.

Karam is my favorite lunch place. The sandwich is a work of art, the sides are authentic. I will definitely come again because the pricing was very fair and the food was top notch.

I have been coming here for chicken shwarma for about twenty years. It is certainly the best shwarma in NY. Falafel is also great

My first time here and I was extremely satisfied. The sandwich is huge, filled generously with chicken, lettuce, tomato and sauce. It is fairly priced for the sandwich and extremely filling. Staff was nice and cracked jokes with us while we waited for sandwiches to come out. Will definitely come again!

Chicken shawarma is pretty good. Sometimes it’s a hit or miss though. If you’re lucky, your shawarma will be really fresh, and other days it’s not so much.

My family has been coming here for years and the food has always on point and delicious. The shawarma plates are their specialty so definitely try those if it is your first time. It goes perfectly with their garlic sauce and pita bread. They also have amazing rotisserie chicken which is very tasty and has crispy skin. While the place has some tables, it is not made for sitting down and eating.

A hidden gem. Don’t expect fine dining here. This one is intended for a take out or a quick bite to it. Chicken and meat shawarma are some of the best in the city. Their rotisserie chicken with a side of garlic source is not to be missed. And don’t get me started on the appetizers! Overall some of the best Lebanese food for a great price.

This is my favorite Arabic food spot in The world. This place hands down has the taboleh, half chicken, hummus and everything else.

There just okay in my book. I stopped going since my cousin got ecoli poisoning from this place. Another reason why I stopped going is because the staff was rude and obnoxious. I’d rather go to Abu Hassans.

The poor place next door… Accidentally stopped there and no one is in there. This place is packed. Combo of regulars and newcomers like me. Tried the swarma sandwich — posted it is too 20 in Brooklyn and based on Unilocal reviews. The guy at counter was a little matter of fact but the service was fast and food did not disappoint. I still haven’t found a good stuffed grape leaf like friends from Lebanon used to make but otherwise for $ 10 I got a good meal with a drink. Unilocal were right on. My first swarma

I came in here to order a grilled chicken and some sides but they were still in the process of grilling so there was a wait. There was a long line behind me so I decided to just go for a chicken shawarma and some sides, and my wife got a falafel sandwich. Now…I don’t like chicken shawarma, there’s often too much stuff inside and not enough chicken, I’m usually disappointed with what is normally a second rate chicken sandwich. This was different though: the chicken was moist, flavorful, and plentiful. The other ingredients were perfect, and the garlic sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had. The hummus and mujadara were also both sublime. This was a really good deal and absolutely wonderful.

Never been disappointed with Karam. I have tried quite a selection of their foods and i must say that they have the best Middle eastern food i have had in NYC. no joke. foods were made fresh. loved the kefte mechwi platter, so good! and the sujok and makanek sandwich — expected to wait for 10 mins but you will get nice and hot sausages with condiments rolled in a nice yummy pita. what more can i say? same thing with the shish kebab sandwich. just yummy and delicious. p. s. they have brain sandwich too on the menu. i should not be saying this to you but i am glad they have it. i ordered mine sometime two months ago and i really enjoyed it! best brain sandwich in NYC! ;)

Though they got my order wrong I was still pleasantly suprised by the food. The half a chicken was succulent and filling for a mere 6 dollars. It came with pita bread, yogurt salad, and radishes. I made my own wrap and I was beyond satisfied. Really hit the craving for rotisserie chicken. Would love to go back and sample their other goodies, especially the meat pies. My fiancé got the shawarama sandwich and that was on point. Though I would replace the garlic sauce because it was a bit overpowering in my opinion. Overall don’t overlook this place.

Ordered takeout and everything was great. From the rotisserie chicken to the hummus. I think the bone in my Chix was just an off day and someone in a hurry to make a sandwich. I’d order the rotisserie chix and some sides. Their sides are delicious and the people working in there were super friendly and nice. I’d totally order from them again. Glad I gave them another chance.

Love the food but it can be inconsistant at times. The chicken shawarma is the star but they run out later at night. The falafel is the best anywhere depending on whos cooking them. Hope you like garlic!

Definitely the best place to get kibbeh in New York. Very flavorful and definitely not dry at all. It’s a small place in a busy shopping area of Brooklyn. You will likely get frustrated if driving as parking will be a nightmare. Everything is made fresh. I prefer the chicken shwarma over the lamb(which tends to be dry). Very generous portions. Plenty of salad/side options. Definitely will satisfy your appetite.

After so many mixed reviews on the service at this place, I decided to stop in while driving pass just to see how I was greeted & treated before ordering. Current time is 1:05pm on Tuesday, and it is empty. The guys behind the counter were very nice. Even jovial! Perhaps they lose their pleasantries when it becomes incredibly busy. It did pick up a little and I had a chance to observe how they interacted with other customers. Slightly more austere. Then again, those customers don’t have pretty eye make-up :) Anyway, ordered a little mamoul dessert. Fresh & magnificent. I’ll be back for dinner some day.

I’ve traveled all over the Middle East, and I have never had a better shawarma in my life. I go out of my way to visit this place anytime I’m in BK. Of I lived nearby I would eat here exclusively. Support this business, you will not be disappointed. And don’t forget to get a yogurt drink with your chicken shawarma. It’s my go to meal.

There is no place to eat in and they mess up a lot of their delivery orders, but if you walk in and order the chicken sandwich you will not be disappointed. That garlic sauce… mmm…so good. Love the tabbouleh, hummus and babaganouj too. In fact, most of the items on their menu are superb, but it’s not a place you can take a date to or even rely upon for consistent delivery service.

The best tabouleh in nyc. Everything on the menu is amazing. You are ordering from a counter, in Brooklyn, from people that have lived here for a while. Expect some attitude from time to time. This isn’t a bad thing. If you want to be coddled go downtown and buy an overpriced coffee. Not to be missed: tabouleh hommous babaghanouj lamb and chicken shawarma sandwiches

It’s worth noting that I’ve never stepped foot in this place, which is probably a good thing given what some other people have written about their counter service. But, I do order for delivery regularly from Seamless and I love this place. The food comes on time, and is consistently better than average. Usually, it’s great. I will say that it’s not quite as good as The Family Store or Tanoreen, but it’s more convenient than the first, and a lot cheaper than the latter, so it’s become my go to whenever I’m craving shish taouk with toum.

We tried combination salad platter with chicken and beef, tahini and lemon garlic sauce. It was good I just felt it’s little lemony, though I think if u try with bread or rice the lemony tartness won’t be that strong. Their kibbeh was very good and also tried stuffed squash, they serve it cold since I was suffering from cold they warmed it for me, and it tasted good.
