Jennifer Brilliant Yoga & Personal Training

I am fortunate enough to participate in Jennifer’s workplace Yoga.
I came to her class suffering from major back issues and as tight and creaky as the Tin Man.
She is truly amazing. She generously shares her knowledge of the inner workings of our anatomy on a physical, spiritual and psychological level.
She has an intuitive way of knowing where you’re aching or tight and with a quick touch can set your body at ease. I swear that every class seems to be tailored specifically for me. I always leave her class in wonder, saying to myself «how’d she know I needed that?”
You will definitely become much more attuned to your body. Jennifer’s classes are instrumental in my recovery. I return to work a much happier, relaxed, productive employee and I never call out on a Tuesday just so I don’t miss her class.

I have been studying Yoga with Jennifer Brilliant for over a year, taking both individual lessons and classes. Jennifer is a wonderful practitioner! She is highly knowledgeable about Yoga, and highly skilled as a teacher: She is warm and supportive, clear in her instruction, and passionate about her work. Jennifer relates to every student, remembering our strengths and weaknesses in a supportive way that creates a warm, caring community in her classes. She is passionate about her work — and her students are passionate in their appreciation of her. I certainly am.
I came to Jennifer with pain in my body, especially in my hip, lower back and feet. Now I am much better. This became clear to me last month when I went to the theater to see the play «Beautiful». The box office said they only had «Standing Room Only» tickets. I hesitated to try this, wondering I if I would be able to stand there for 2 ½ hours. Yes I could! Not only did my feet and hips feel totally OK, but since I was standing in the back where no one could see what I was doing, I danced my heart out to all of the songs! «Oh What a Night!» as the Jersey Boys would say. Thank you Jennifer!!!

Finding this studio and Jennifer Brilliant is like finding the greatest restaurant before it becomes popular and you can’t get a table. Jennifer is a masterful teacher with a warm and inviting (and clean!) studio right in the heart of Park Slope. She’s the real deal. Don’t miss her!
