Jake is a hidden gem. Knowledgeable — knows how the body works as a whole and how group of muscles work in isolation. When he taught me how my muscles were affecting my posture, it helped me to be aware of diff muscles and which ones to use for a particular exercise. Variation– Its been a month and not a single exercise was repeated. Moreover, when I did not feel the targeted muscles during an exercise he changed it right there and gave an alternate workout to ensure the right muscles were targeted or strengthen for such a workout in future. Humorous — 1 hour was always fun & ends with a protein shake that he always makes :)for all of his student. There were days when I started and was so sore due to my health conditions that could barely walked to his gym but left with less pain — unbelievable Passion — He is passionate about his work and seeing diff in clients. In 3 weeks, I saw the difference. My last 2 classes were not rushed, instead he ensured that I could do workouts at home or travel. This review is not enough and cant do justice to his work. Just try it out and see it for yourself.

Jake is extremely knowlegable and worked with me to strengthen my back because of a pinch nerve and helped me lose over 20lbs of weight. I would recomend him to anyone looking to get in shape.

Jake’s amazing. I have suffered from shoulder pain for 7 years and gave up on it ever going away. Jake took the time to figure out what was causing it and helped me build muscle and taught me to use the shoulder correctly. My pasture has improved drastically and the pain went away! Highly recommended. I wish he would relocate to California so I can keep training with him.(4 stars because location was inconvenient).

Jake is not just a trainer. He is not solely there to tell you what to lift and when to lift it. He understands physiology and fitness better than anyone I have ever met. He explains the muscular system and communicates it in a way that you’d understand. He has an uncanny sense of what you need to hear to develop the right form. He educates. He motivates. It was a God sent that Jake was recommended to me. I was pregnant and high risk and needed to stay in shape but did not know what to do. His packages are the prices around, he is well experienced and very knowledgeable, he is an amazing trainer and has a great well equipped private studio where he whips you into shape. It was no brainier I signed up and haven’t regretted one session yet. Now I have a 2 month old and I am still with Jake post baby so I can get my body back, after two sessions I already feel great and my posture is much better. I have no doubt in my mind that I will be my old self in no time working with Jake!

I have been trained by Jake since 2009! He is incredibly knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition and with him I always knew I was in good hands. His gym is wonderfully set up with all the equipment one could ask for, and Jake is a solid, hands-on trainer. He knows exactly when to push you and when you’ve absolutely pushed up your very last rep. Thoroughly recommended if you are serious about your goals. Plus, he’s a nice guy too!

If you want your pants altered, you go to a tailor. If you want your shoes fixed, you go to a shoe maker. You want some good sushi for dinner? You go to a sushi restaurant. If you truly want to see a change in your body(and of course your mind), go see Jake. Now. I have run for years, danced, worked out on my own. I never saw any improvements. And I’ll be honest, I’m already blessed with good genes. When I went to Jake the first time he asked me what exactly I was looking for. I told him. And boy did he follow through with results. My body looked sick. And I’m not an egotistical person. Everyone commented on how awesome I looked. I referred two of my friends who also saw amazing results. Jake understands the body in a different way. He looks at your body as a whole instead of in pieces. He believes in core work, posture, and safety. This isn’t cross fit where you will hurt yourself doing exercises you’re unprepared for. Who would have thought that 97lb 4’11″ little me would be doing 170lb Romanian deadlifts?!
