Delivery is always fast, their food is really good except for the bhindi or okra, it taste great but third time ordering it and again its under cooked which makes it very rough you can’t chew it. other than that everything else was great!

I have been looking for a great indian restaurant near me, I’ve finally found it. The Bhuna I had was excellent, as was the Korma my husband had. The Naan was also good. The environment was lovely and the service was great. We will be back!

passable, but not great Indian food. Service is friendly but slow. The food was very creamy & rich. The naan was the best thing here. Don’t be confused by the restaurant name — it boldly says«King of Tandoor» in large letters and«An Indian Passage» in tiny letters above it.

I ordered saag paneer, naan, and a mango laasi from them. Everything was very tasty and delivery was quick. They did forget my mango laasi but delivered two when I let them know that it was forgotten. That was a lovely surprise.

After consistently getting my seamless order delivered in just 20 minutes, I finally got out of the house to dine in. The food is even better and the service Hossein provides is top notch. I’m surprised that I haven’t seen the place filled up yet. It’s probably due to the outdated reviews this place got. Anyway, give this place a try. It’s worth a try and your belly(and wallet) won’t be disappointed.

This is the only Indian restaurant I have found in the Sunset Park/Bay Ridge area which is consistently good. The food quality is great, the price is reasonable, and the delivery is quick. No complaints on anything I’ve ordered from here— generally their top sellers: chicken muhkanee, vindaloo, samosas, veg pakora, Chana bhajee, etc.(Don’t mind anything spelled incorrectly!)

This place used to be good. We came here for a family dinner. After almost an hour and 3 times of asking for some kind of appetizer(bc everyone was starving) they finally brought out a plate with 4 chicken wings for a table of 6 people. Each plate after that took another 20 minutes each. Not to mention that they didn’t even bother to tell us that they simply didn’t make one of the dishes that we ordered. And we constantly had to catch the waiters attention. Terrible service. Took forever. We all left hungry and extremely disappointed!

Walking up 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge and decided to try this place for a late lunch. Nice looking ambiance and friendly service. Ordered Mango Lassi and Chana Aloo(chick peas and potatoes over rice). Food was made fresh. Affordable too. I totally enjoyed everything I had. Yes, I plan to come back again.

I came here accidently because the one I wanted to go to was one block away. But since we were seated I thought what the hell, let’s go for it. I’m starving. The waiters were prompt but the fat one loved to blast the tv, raising the volume and fool around cause there were only 3 tables. Only to have the boss lady turn it down and have it turned up again when she’s not there. Food took a long time to come out but that’s quite common in Indian restaurants. The chicken biriyani and saag was drenched in ghee. I’ve had indian many times before, it’s my favorite cuisine and I can tell this is not right. I want to like this place but I may not come back

Terrible. Food is terrible, service is terrible, and delivery is the absolute worst. In house it’s just like any regular old tasteless overpriced fast food joint with minimal service. Delivery never takes less than an hour and a half to get your bag of soggy freezing bland food and the delivery guy is the WORST, rude and unprofessional. Ugh, what a waste of time and money. I don’t know what I was thinking giving this place yet another chance. Since I can’t give zero stars, the one star is for the chutneys they include with the soggy bread, they are tasty.

I’m sorry to say, the old India Passage has closed. The restaurant is under new management now and the chef is different. The service is very friendly and they’re just starting, so I don’t have the heart to rate this place lower but the food is really not the same. It’s not awful, it’s just not great.

Got take out from seamless tonight. The lamb curry was delicious. Mahla kofta was not good. I was surprised. I never had Mahla kofta taste so bland. The coconut milk was so overpowering. The naan was a little too soft and didn’t have that grill taste. Samosa was filled with only mash potato that seems to come from a box mix. The pros of this meal was the price and the delicious mango ice cream. Will not order again.

Almost posted a review for the wrong restaurant because I thought the name was King of Tandoor. Friendly and knowledgeable service — helpful for someone not familiar with Indian food. Appetizer platter, naan, and entrees(garlic curry & chicken tikka) were delicious!

Terrible customer service! I ordered for delivery, after an hour passed I called to check on my order. The man on the phone sounded confused & said there was a mistake & the order did not go out yet. Thanks for nothing! Never again!

been coming here for years cause some of their food is amazing. Chicken Tikka Masala, naan, and chicken tandoori, and rose/mango ice cream are delicious. Tried a bunch of other things off the menu but nothing really blew me away. Yes, their food is a bit heavy with the cream and oil, so those sensitive to dairy/rich food may end up having some tummy issues. My stomach of steel loves the stuff though. Staff and owner could use some training. They would definitely get destroyed if they got a visit from Gordon Ramsey. Place could definitely use a face lift and it’s not a good look when you have extra plates and table cloths stacked up on a table in the middle of the restaurant. Not to mention I frequently see the owner sitting on the back table playing around on his laptop while bickering with the wait staff. While this may be an issue for some people, I really don’t care. As long as they give me delicious food in exchange for my money i’m happy. Overall i’ve been to places that aesthetically are superior, but I just love certain dishes here too much to ever change it as my go to Indian spot.

As another reviewer mentioned this is the only Seamless Indian place in Bay Ridge. I had seen the less than stellar reviews but was really craving Indian so thought maybe they were wrong. They are not and I’m so bummed because I love delivery Indian. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and what I got was a bowl of faded school bus yellow sauce that tasted mostly of cream and oil. The naan was not the fluffy kind I was expecting but seemed more like flour tortillas. It was literally inedible. I called them up and they sent a guy over with a new batch of the exact same crap even though I said I’d rather just a refund because I’d already warmed up leftovers because the oily cream was making me feel sick. I called Seamless and they contacted the restaurant that refused a refund and swore that the food was on par. Seriously? I can get better Chicken Tikka Masala from a Trader Joe’s frozen meal! No thanks! Save your money! There’s an Indian place on the next block that isn’t amazing but at least knows what color Chicken Tikka Masala is!

I found this place while out with a friend and I was happy! The staff were so nice and polite. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan… yummy with a capital YUM! The chicken was tasty but I fell head over heels for the Naan! It was beyond tasty, light and delicious!

This is the only Indian restaurant on seamless in my neighborhood(Bay Ridge) so I ordered from them to satisfy a craving for Indian food. Ordered the chicken Madrass and naan. For $ 14 I got a plastic container of oil with pieces of chicken and some spices in it. No joke, the order was literally mostly oil. It was so bad I couldn’t eat it– wound up throwing it away. Their naan isn’t the soft, fluffy variety either. It’s more like roti. I don’t normally take negative reviews seriously on Unilocal(especially for places where the reviews run the gamut between bad and great), but folks, listen to your fellow Unilocalers! This place? Meh.
