This is my first time trying their burritos… holy crap it’s huge n delicious. Gotta try it. Definitely worth it. I will be bringing my friends there. The staff are extremely friendly.

I’ve been wanting to try this place forever. When you walk past it it doesn’t look like much but a whole in the wall but I will tell you the food is great and cheap. I ordered a burrito with rice and red chili beans. Sounds pretty basic right? Wrong, they somehow managed to melt cheese all around the tortilla and pack it with deliciously flavored Mexican rice and the beans must be cooked in a delicious sauce. They also include sour cream, a green hot sauce, and a avocado sauce. Totally unassuming and totally awesome. Will definitely be a new favorite. The Mexican food I have had in NY has been pretty sub par compared to what I’m used to but this one really steps it up.

This is definitely my go to spot for a quick lunch or breakfast when I’m in the area. The ladies behind the counter are very friendly and offer great service. Also the food is made fresh and you can taste it. They offer a variety of plates from grilled chicken, steak, rice and beans to even tacos, enchiladas and nachos. The place is not big but its adequate enough to have a sit down breakfast or lunch. I definitely recommend it if you work by or live around the area.

What a delight to live just down the street from a legitimate taco joint. Don’t be fooled by the silly sign — there is tasty food here. I’ve mainly stuck to the tacos(carnitas and carne asada), but I imagine the other stuff is worth a shot, too. I often wind up asking for more salsa verde. They have two types, and I’m not sure how to differentiate between them in ordering. Things don’t seem to be too consistent here, but I’ve yet to be let down. UPDATE: 1÷10÷12 Their hours are really unpredictable, and they’re often not open when their take-out menu says they will be. I think they try to get out of there by 5pm, which pretty much rules out the option of picking up dinner. Honesty, El Toro over on Driggs is probably worth the walk, and they’re open late.
