I am a carnivore through and through, but the lovely impromptu lunch I had here was one of the most fresh, well seasoned, colorful and satisfying meals I’ve had anywhere in the neighborhood. It seems a little pricy but you do end up getting some solid sized portions. I think they do a really wonderful job. I would definitely check it out if you are looking for something interesting and satisfying that you can can feel good about putting in your body.

It’s taken me a while to rave about the awesome food they serve here, but today is time! My husband and I have tried several things from the regular and the brunch menu and everything has blown my mind. Is delicious, meticulously prepared and fairly priced because I know they are using good ingredients. On top of that the service is on point, the waitress is sweet and knows her stuff. We are regulars now and we will continue to happily be.

They serve the best shakshouka in New York, and a selection of very nice soups, on the spicy side. Great service too, and the music is not annoying as in many other middle Eastern places.

Oh pure deliciousness with a side of get in my belly. I came here on my own in the middle of the day. Exhausted from running around and hoping to grab a bite to eat to refuel, I happened upon Hummus Market. The kind waitress let me know there was a lunch special so I got the tahini hummus with a side of Israeli salad for ~$ 12. It was a massive bowl with warm pita. I couldn’t get over how fresh everything was. There was so much flavor and goodness that I could barely finish. I’m definitely headed back to try more dishes!

Great addition to the neighborhood! Don’t let the ugly signage scare you away. The hummus is creamy and fresh. Get the garlic confit one! I loved the stuffed onions, very flavorful. It came with a good side salad. I wish the pita was freshly baked inhouse. It was a bit burnt when they reheated the store-bought version.

This place is fantastic ! The food is phenomenal — the shakshuka(sp?) is really good, and the Brussels sprout salad — I could eat that salad everyday!

Had the stuffed pita with egg and eggplant. REALLY delicious. The tiny side of carrot and cauliflower were absolutely delicious too. Will definitely be coming back here.

Hummus Market is a new addition to the rich food scene of Graham Ave. There are a ton of great choices on these blocks, and Hummus Market matches up to any of them, if not supersedes. The authentic Israeli cuisine is a unique offering for a neighborhood that already has elite Thai, Mexican, American, French, etc. The Shakshuka is incredible, and if you’ve never had it before it’s a must-order off the menu. The restaurant’s amazing hummus, which is creamy and divine, is topped with eggs poached in a tomato/onion sauce. It’s so delicious, and a relatively healthful plate that doesn’t compromise any flavor. Hummus Market imports their pita from Israel, and you can tell the difference. You’ve never had pita that good in this country, and if you have, please point me in the right direction. I’d recommend getting the stuffed pita, as it’s a presentation on ingredients you probably already love if you’re familiar with Israeli cuisine.

I was very excited to go to Hummus Market and it meet completely my expectation of a 5⁄5 stars restaurant. My friend was in town and we ordered 3 Maket Mix: Roasted Cauliflower, Roasted Peppers and beets then we also had soup and Hummus Shallots. We finish with some tea. The waitress Jennifer(that’s what i read on my receipt) was very nice and her recommendation was PERFECT! the price are not to expensive as the neighborhood is getting gentrify. the market mix were $ 16.00, the hummus $ 13.00, Small cup of soup were $ 5 $ each and tea $ 3.00. I will definitely come back very often as it is one block away from my apartment! Will definitely recommend it to my roommates!

I adore hummus. Not the Sabra crap you buy at the grocery store, but real, creamy, savory hummus. Sadly it can be hard to find in the States. Hummus Market definitely gives me what I need. They’re an Israeli run establishment that truly gets it right. Their hummus is exquisite. And the pita they serve is pillowy and delicious. The best way to experience what Hummus Market has to offer is to go with a small group of friends and order a bunch of different salads. Hands and arms should get tangled as people dip bread from one bowl to another and the conversation should flow constantly. I adore their roasted cauliflower. And the labane is to die for. I will admit the price point is a tad bit high for hummus but it’s Williamsburg so it’s understandable. Check this place out!

Feels like you are sitting in Jerusalem… as authentic as it gets! Idan is the real deal. Fresh pita shipped in from Israel — delicious ingredients… everything we ate was perfection. The garden is beautiful and the food was even better. Can’t wait to go back… Pro tip: ask for the eggplant as a side dish — it’s not on the menu yet, but surely will be soon…

Don’t confused by the name, this is a full-fledged and rather ambitious restaurant. They will sell their hummus to go, but only as part of a take out order. The space on Graham Avenue is quite narrow, but the primarily white décor and open kitchen make it seem as spacious as possible. Even better is the back yard, which when it was open this summer and fall was decorated with white lights and tables that evoked a nice evening on the beach far more than you might think is possible in East Williamsburg. The food is centered around Israeli favorites. There are several kinds of hummus, including ones with meat and vegetables. There’s a chunky take on shakshuka and plates of pickles. Everything is filling without feeling greasy or heavy. When we visited there was no liquor license but complimentary limoncello shots came at the end of the meal as a reward for being there during the open few weeks. There was some carping from my party about the price point. I’m not among them. While certainly this is more expensive than the crap that is being sold at supermarkets and natural food stores, it is also freshly made and quite tasty. And there are options for full meals below $ 20, so it still seems like a reasonable value.

This place is Awesome. They are pretty new and my wife and I decided to give it a go. The menu is easy to navigate and every staff member we have encountered is supper helpful in understanding pronunciation of some of the dishes and explaining what some of the menu items are. We are there multiple times a week, we explore the menus and try their new items and have yet to have a bad meal there. If your looking to eat clean and healthy while not giving in to taste –this is your place. The flavors really jump at you and the people are hella friendly. Stop walking by wondering if it’s «any good,» it is visit them and your see why you never have to buy Sabra or Tribe anymore –when these guys make it from scratch and its delicious!

True to their name this restaurant’s main focus is their various hummus dishes. I ordered the Mashabcha hummus plate which consisted of two pieces of pillowy, freshly made pita bread and a large portion of creamy hummus and whole chickpeas. $ 11 is pricey for something that amounts to an appetizer however despite its simplicity both the bread and hummus were delicious. Normally I prefer my chickpeas deep fried so I was a little disappointed that an all vegetarian Mediterranean restaurant didn’t serve falafel. Expensive, but definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for vegetarian food on the healthy side. There appears to be a lot of vegan friendly stuff on the menu as well.
