Definitely a hidden gem in Bay Ridge! We absolutely love coming here. The food is great, the service is very good, and Salvatore is amazing. We are always treated like family. Can’t say enough great thing about this place.

Cool little hole-in-the wall place! As some have mentioned, this is actually a small restaurant within a jewelry shop! Pretty interesting, and easy to miss if you aren’t looking carefully. I went there for brunch, which had a fixed price menu. The food itself was decent, but the atmosphere was cool enough that I really enjoyed it. One note: The restaurant accepts cards, but tips are cash only, so be sure you have some cash.

Had an AMAZING brunch here today. My friend & I both had strawberry & cream pancakes… super fluffy pancakes with strawberries, strawberry sauce, and cream cheese drizzled on top. We also shared a carafe of mimosas. I believe it was around $ 50 total. The service was fantastic and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly. I can’t wait to go back! They accept cards, but make sure you have cash for tip – that part is cash-only!

This is a very cute brunch place. We had brunch here on Easter, and they gave us two slices of cheesecake to go! The brunch entrees themselves were great– we both had green eggs and ham, which I had difficulty finding anywhere else.

Friday noon — great service and great food. Pineapple teriyaki burger had great flavor and meat was tender, but a little overcooked; salad on the side was very fresh and delicious with their dressing. Green egg and ham is very flavorful.

Great mimosas, food was good, but deff a tad over priced. $ 68(not including tip) for 2 coffees, a mimosas pitcher, and 2 orders of French toast, which didn’t taste any better than the $ 8 French toast from the diner, but the outside ambiance and service was amazing, only gave it 4 stars due to being overpriced, but I guess you pay for the hipsta/boutique/outside garden etc.

It was a Saturday afternoon and my boyfriend and I decided to come here for brunch since we have bookmarked this place for a while now. Also, since it was pretty close to where I live. The environment of this restaurant is really cozy. Don’t get startle if you walk in and see antiques and a little shop in the front; it’s normal, haha. They have sitting outside in the back and inside of the restaurant if you don’t want to be seated outside. My boyfriend and I took a seat inside to enjoy the restaurant’s ambiance. We ordered a Green eggs and ham omelette, southern eggs benedict with sausage gravy, and I ordered a mimosa since I didn’t have to drive. Hehehe :) I was a little disappointed with the omelette because it really was not anything special. I have had better omelettes, although, this omelettes had a lot of ingredients inside. Since it had so many ingredients, I expected it to be amazing. Meh, I was not exactly right. I did enjoy it though, but like I said, I have had better ones. The southern eggs benedict was delicious though! YUM! I would go back and order this again. Everything about it was so good. Haha. I especially loved it when the egg yolk was still runny! The biscuits was super soft and melted in your mouth. Ah, thinking about it makes me want some right now. The mimosa wasn’t the good either. I personally thought there was too much champagne in it. All I tasted was champagne, mind as well give me a glass of it instead. I have heard their sangria was good, so I definitely want to come back and try that as well. The waiter was nice and friendly. As the matter of fact, everyone was super nice.(Yes, even the cooks in the back) They came out and asked how our food were and made sure we were having a great time. Overall, it was not a bad experience. 3.5 — 4 Stars; the omelette could have pushed it to 4 stars, but I really wasn’t satisfy.

It’s definitely an interesting store-restaurant. I love the décor, the pictures on the wall. The store has beautiful stuff. Inside part of the store is the dinning area. I’m wondering don’t they worry the clothes stuff get food cooking smell? For the restaurant, if u are a latte or cappuccino drinker like me, u will get disappointed. They only have fresh brewed coffee, will offer you milk and sugar if u need. As to the food, I had the buffalo chx burger with blue cheese. It’s really disappointing… I’m not that picky about food, but I really didn’t like that at all. The blue cheese I’d definitely the ranch blue cheese dressing. The worst thing is the chx. It’s not chx breast or any whole piece of real chx meat. It’s like ground chx, generally the taste was weird. Our Waiter was nice and friendly. But u have to pay tips in cash. So prepare your money before going there. Not going back for food anymore.

I’m really surprised at all the high ratings for this place. Called in on a sunday morning to reserve a table. Staff members were super friendly and kind. As everyone else mentioned, the bread basket, delish! But everything else was mediocre at best, and a bit cheap tasting. I ordered the chicken avocado salsa wrap without the chicken, I asked if they had beans to coup out the chicken, but they didn’t. Here’s how to easily amp up the salsa wrap, add beans! The wrap itself was very cheap, weak flour material. Cheese was shredded cheddar cheese that tasted artificial. I was a bit disappointed with my meal because I could easily make this wrap at home and make it taste way better. And for those who rave about the sangaria, its the Carlo Rossi Sangaria. I saw the staff pour Carlo Rossi sangaria into the serving cups with a few fruits added.

Certainly a hidden gem of BR! From the outside, you would think it’s just a boutique shop but who knew you can have brunch here as well! The brunch menu is a modern twist of the traditional American breakfast style. I had the orange marmalade French toast which was delicious. It’s a little heavier than the traditional French toast but I like that they are fluffy, not soggy. Coffee is decent as well but I wish they served in larger cups. The service is wonderful and the guys who run this place are super friendly. It’s a great venue to throw a small bridal or baby shower. After you eat, you can peruse their gift shop for unique items like candles, cups and saucers, jewelry, etc.

I got the corned beef hash with poached eggs, my grandma got the pancakes. My poached eggs were way overcooked and hard which made the dish very hard to enjoy. My grandmas pancakes were slightly burnt so she asked them to just cook them golden brown. The second time, they were less burnt but undercooked. We paid 18.95 per person for less than mediocre food and drinks weren’t included. This place had a nice interior but everything was just extremely overpriced. I will not be returning.

I’m not one to write reviews. Especially if I find a place and like it. Well I have to say I LOVEEEEEEEEEEDDD this place. The food is Spectacular. Damon and sal are fantastic. I went in there yesterday With my girlfriend and honestly didn’t have high hopes. The first time We went in there, they said that they had something going on and Wouldn’t be open that day and directed us to a place across the street. Which was over priced, the service sucked and the food was so-so.) But to say not only were we both surprised but blown away at the atmosphere, food and customer service. I had the French toast (easily the best I ever had) and my girlfriend had the omelette. Both were of superior quality and taste. She had the pomegranate Ice tea which was amazing. Tome these guys should seriously consider Franchising the place. Finally a cute, nice, comfortable, great food Restaurant.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting relatives in NYC. What a great find! Tiny place tucked into the back of a gift store, but soo nice! I had the green eggs and ham and my cousin had the pumpkin garam marsala soup with grilled cheese. I need to go back there! So good and pricing was really good as well!

What an interesting place. Part home store, part restaurant. I had Mediterranean Eggs Benedict… hummus, poached eggs, salad and mediterranean spices. Delicious. Definitely will return. And the chef came out to say hi!

Lovely spot for brunch! The front half is a store with girly, boutique items which you can peruse while you wait. We had made reservations, but they had lots of tables open around 2:00 on a Sunday. The menu changes monthly, so for February all the items were love-inspired for Valentine’s Day. We ordered the«I Heart U» Pancakes and the Sweetheart Burger(both $ 12.95) as well as a Pomegranate Iced Tea($ 4). They also gave us a bread basket with an assortment of yummy warm, toasted breads. I didn’t love the tea which was bitter and overpriced IMO, but the food was solid. The burger was juicy and served on a brioche-type bun. The pancakes were soft and fluffy and paired surprisingly well with the side of ham. Wished it came with more strawberries, though. If you’re in the area, I would definitely check this place out for a unique brunch experience! (Tip: bring cash for tip because apparently they can’t add it on to credit cards)

Came here with a Groupon for brunch for two(one entrée and a sangria each for $ 20 — you just have to cover tax which came out to $ 4 for us).(Normally $ 13 for the brunch menu and $ 10 for a glass of sangria, white or red.) Shared the Red Velvet pancakes with cream cheese frosting and pecans and the BLT Eggs Benedict with Avocado. Both were decent, but not amazing. The eggs benedict is literally poached eggs with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and hollandaise sauce with a side of whole wheat toast. The pancakes were slightly too cakey for my preference. The storefront is adorable and all the staff members were helpful and not rude about our Groupon redemption. Overall, for the price, the food is worth it and the Groupon definitely helped. Sangrias were good as well! The bread basket(full of mini muffins and pound cake) was probably my favorite part of the meal. Probably wouldn’t come back merely for how far it was, but I don’t regret it!

Impeccable service. The shop looks very cute with a store up front and restaurant in the back. I wonder if the owner ever thought about making the front section smaller for more seating. There were many people waiting for seats on the weekend. Since it was a gloomy rainy day, I ordered the tomato and sausage soup with grilled cheese. The perfect food for the crappy weather right? I was a bit disappointed, the soup was too salty and the grill cheese sandwich was unimpressive. Hopefully other dishes will garner a better rating next time.

What?! Have I never really written a review here? I love Hom and the name says it all. Whenever I come here, it makes me feel at home. I think it is also an added bonus that it is a store up front, I can look around and waste time while waiting for my food to come. The menu changes all the time, but everthing I got here has always satisfied me. My favorite is the huevos rancheros, I hope they bring it back one day. Service can be a bit on the slow side, but staff is very nice. I especially like the filipino cook, I don’t remember his name though. He has so much personality and makes me laugh all the time. I will be back! Oh almost forgot! Try the sangria, it is so good.

Took us about 3 tries before we were able to actually sit down for brunch at this spot. Why? Because they are very strict on reservations and without one, they won’t even let you try to wait for a table. We were lucky enough to get a reservation put in 15 minutes beforehand so we had to haul ass in case they gave the table away. On a Sunday afternoon, we sat down across from the«kitchen» and had our first brunch date in a long time. Cutely decorated place with a storefront that resembled an antique store, the restaurant sits in the back with wonderful and inviting smells of breakfast. Immediately, the waiter approached us and offered fresh baked bread and drinks. The bread was warm and toasty, very good start to the meal. We ordered chicken tacos and green eggs and ham. Most of the rest of the menu was veggies heavy. Chicken tacos came hot and big. It wasn’t easy for me to take down those tacos filled with grilled chicken and delicious sauce, but I managed. The gf went for green eggs and ham but wasn’t too thrilled at the way it turned out. Half expecting that the eggs would be amazing, she was slightly disappointed it really turned out to taste like a standard omelette. Though the food was good, it wasn’t amazing as we built it up to be with so many missed encounters.

Finally got a chance to come here for brunch today and it was such a great experience. I was not aware they have a small boutique in the front so when i first walked in and saw items laid out for sale. I paused. Then i smelled the great aroma of yumminess and was greeted by the gentleman in the front. We took a table and my sister ordered the green eggs and ham(very interesting! Thought this only exist in Dr Seuss’ books) and i had my all time favorite brunch item. Eggs benedict! They served a basket of baked goods with loaf bread, bread with cranberry and nuts(?), raisins, and the other one i cant figure out. But the breads were very very warm and soft! Served w jam and butter. Very tasty!!! Then the food came and we couldn’t stop raving how good the green eggs and ham dish was! My eggs benedict was good too but very filling – possibly cos of the sauce or i jus ate too many bread earlier cos i couldnt help it! We enjoyed our brunch and we will definitely be back. We noticed they have outdoor seating so we will probably try that the next time. We also got to check out the items they sold in the shop and they have some really interesting items such as headbands, jewelries, candles, teas, sauces, cards, shirts, teapots and cups, etc. This is such a cute place and the staff was super friendly and nice! Possibly the best and friendliest staff i’ve seen at a brunch place in a long time!
