This place is plagued with rats. They are all over the kitchen. Seriously the size of raccoons. Stay away unless you want rabies.

Happy Days might be my new favorite diner in Brooklyn. When you first walk in, the smell of fresh brewing coffee lets you know this Happy Days takes its role as diner seriously. Then, huge portions of food served quickly fill you up and send you right into food coma status. The best part has to be Maria the sweetest waitress I’ve ever met. She checks on you every thirty seconds, and has a slightly booming voice, but it’s all with love and man does she care. I drank three cups of coffee in part because I felt like I was letting Maria down if I didn’t say yes every time she asked, «More coffee sweetie?» Yes, Marie. More coffee please. More Happy Days. More diner loving. I may never leave.

souvlaki’s came out over cooked & hard to eat, to be fair we were offered a free drink to make up for the inconvenience but service was still very slow it took too long to get our two Pepsi drinks from the fountain, will more likely give happy days another chance in the near future for breakfast. My bf & I have no intention to arrive in the late afternoon because service is lacking prices are really high for a heights diner& food didn’t serve right.

Totally and utterly disgusting. Turkey burger was the nastiest thing I’ve ever seen. Texture was worse than dog food. Regular burger was as hard as a hockey puck. Pancakes were not good. Hash browns were OK, but everything seemed dirty and gross down to the coffee, plates, and silverware. And I haven’t even mentioned the sevice yet! Sat down at 2am and left at 4! And not because we were enjoying ourselves! It would take 20 minutes to get coffee and another 20 minutes to get milk! Diner seekers beware. Just overall terrible and disgusting. Hate to write a review like this, but that place is out of place on that street. Overall teribble. Would give it 0 stars, if possible. On the plus side, I would give this place 5 out of 5 stars for being disgusting.

I would not go here if I had other brunch or American fare options, but it was my only option past midnight. Place isn’t bad and the breakfast was decent(a bit more greasy than I would like though). Plenty of breakfast(eggs and omelette selections), but less on healthier options. Paid around $ 13 including tax and tip for one person.

This is a five star diner, for sure. The staff is so friendly and service-oriented, and they seem to know all the regulars by name. I love the familiar, at home feeling of the place. The breakfast is solid — really yummy food, large portions, and I really like the sausages they have! Also, the price is right. For $ 7 I had a feast!

I ate here once around 4AM after a long, long night when it was the only thing open. And I gotta tell you, considering that it wasn’t «cheap» by any means, I would go out on a limb to say that there MUST be a better option than this. I can’t hate on it too much because all I had were fries and a shake, but the fries were too chunky and soggy to be satisfying and the shake was pretty watery and tasteless. So yeah, definitely a place to avoid unless you have to, although I’m sure its shittiness is part of the charm.

Horrible customer service this morning! I usually order from this diner all the time, but for some reason today they were super late with my order and then when I tried to find out what the issue was the person I spoke to was very nasty and hung up on me, without finding out any more information about my order. Eventually, I did receive my order and hour and a half later than what was to be expected, and the portion size of the food leads me to believe that they probably forgot about my order and didn’t realize it until I had call, and quickly threw something together because I order the same thing every time from them and the portion size has been stellar. Sadly, I will not be ordering from this diner again despite their food being somewhat decent. Treat your regular customers better or customers in general better!

This is my go to place. Perfect for late night. I usually order a gyro, a stack of waffles for my girlfriend, and a banana split. Open 24 hours and very convenient if your a student at one of the nearby universities.

Typical diner food. I had friends who referred to it as crappy days, but it’s not that bad. None of the food here is amazing, but it’s not awful either. Very middle of the road. The cool thing about this place is that it’s open and delivers 24 hours a day, unlike a lot of places in the a neighborhood. If you’re a night owl it’s worth stopping by for a burger or a shake, otherwise skip it.

So disappointed that they’re still there and Grand Canyon is closed. I never had any problems with service or food here but something about it is always uncomfortable and sketchy to me. We’ve eaten at various times of the day and night and it’s consistent.

It’s an okay spot to grab food really quick after a long night. Not the best diner when it comes to food but the service and location is great. I’ve always had the omelette when I visit. It’s not the best omelette but it will do the trick. My boyfriend said his omelette was pretty okay. I like that it’s near all the late night festivities and the promenade. Also every time I’ve visited, I never waited to be seated and my food always came out in less than 15 minutes regardless of how big my part was.

Just ordered take out from here, and I’m extremely disappointed. I specifically asked the waiter to please omit the tomatoes that come inside the wrap I ordered, only to find out there’s TONS of tomato pieces in my wrap which I had to pick out, and now I’m eating a wrap that’s falling apart in my hands. The fries that came with my order are soggy and plain, they taste like those microwaveable fries you buy at your local supermarket. Never ordering from here again.

I really can’t recommend this place to anyone. I ordered the sliced turkey wrap and it was awful. The turkey looked and tasted like it had been sitting around the diner for a few weeks. Same thing with the cole slaw that came with it. My wife got the cob salad and was sick to her stomach about an hour later. Service was OK. There are plenty of other options in the area to dine. Don’t waste your money here.

I think this is the worst food I ever had. Shame on me for thinking the breakfast would be good. I ordered the French toast deluxe with eggs. The eggs were watery despite me asking for it to be scrambled with cheese(they didn’t even put the cheese in). How do you make scrambled eggs watery??? The french toast was dry… and tasteless. The ham was definitely store bought. You know the thin slices in the packets. Those. If I wanted that I would go home and make breakfast myself. I asked for no sausages, so I have no idea how it was. Probably awful like the rest of the food. Don’t come here. My bank account cries because I wasted money on this piece of shit diner.

I had a free morning and I was so looking forward to having a nice breakfast alone. I saw Happy Days and immediately went inside and didn’t bother to check Unilocal! It’s breakfast… You can’t really mess that up… Right??? WRONG! I ordered scrambled eggs and a waffle… My server was eager to help as there was no one in the diner. My food came out fairly quickly… This should have been a tip off. I am sent the soggiest, deformed, sad excuse of a waffle I’ve ever seen in my life. I even went ahead to try it despite its appearance and it was just as bad as it looked!!! I paid and left… Never ever will I return. Save your money go somewhere else or if you must eat here don’t order the waffle!

Looking for a late night snack? Then stop by this 24-hour diner. They have a very large menu with affordable meals. I ordered the chicken salad wrap with sweet potato fries, which also came with two onion rings. I don’t recommend mixing bot and cold food lol. I loved the booths, very comfortable seating.

Happy Days is another throwback to my high school days. Cozy, comfy, really good diner food. Breakfasts are always a hit. Omelets, pancake breakfasts and grits when available are my usual choices. Open 7 days a week, all night long. Friendly staff.
