I been working in this area for over 6 years and this by far is my favorite place to order breakfast from. They come fast food is always hot and they haven’t screwed up my order once. Defiantly a place to check out.

I like to order breakfast from here usually on Saturdays for my family. The food is good but the delivery is TERRIBLE!!! I ordered at 10:15am, called back 11:26am food still didn’t even leave. The woman on the said it was leaving out now. Here it is noon and still no food. SMH! I only would go there never order delivery ever ever again and the food isn’t that good for me to sit in soooo guess I gotta find a new diner!

My family and I have been coming to this diner for over 25 years. We used to love coming in for breakfast together or just stopping by to pick up a cup of coffee. Last year the original Greek owners sold the business to a family. I was disappointed to see that the new owners had let go of all the original waitresses. These women knew everyone, what they liked and how to make the neighborhood feel welcome. Though the new owners did a nice reboot on the décor they should have gotten new cooks. The«toasted» bagels are put in the oven, after a few minutes they have the texture of stale bread. The bacon is fried in the deep fryer, making it taste like oil and become chewy. Yesterday I went in for a turkey burger and fries and noticed a strange odor in the diner. When I got home both the burger and the soggy fries had a strange flavor and horrible after taste. It’s as if the oil hadn’t been changed in God knows how long. It gave me nausea for the remainder if the day. Even after having my order repeatedly fudged up over the months I continued to get food from here, because we have no other diners in the area. After yesterday I can no longer stomach the crappy food and inconsistent service. It’s sad to see a staple if the neighborhood go down the drain. If you enjoy good diner food, this is NOT the place for you.

This is a no frills type of diner. The wait staff are Latino and the cooks are Greek. I walked in and they say me down immediately and started me off with a cup of coffee. I ordered eggs, with turkey sausage and pancakes and it tasted very good! Like homemade on a Sunday. It was warm and comforting as diner food should be. Plus the price was cheap. There is no where to eat in 11208 except for fast food and Dominican places so it’s nice to see a traditional diner keepin it ol school. Plus Customer service is important to me and here I felt like family. I will come back again.

I’m giving this 4 stars because after a week of eating in Manhattan, this place had the nicest service and cheapest good food during our week long stay. We were driving to JFK to catch our flight back to California and Unilocaled to see what we could grab along the way. The staff here was really friendly and the food came out quickly. Our over easy eggs turned out over medium and my husband’s hash brown turned out to be like the kind you get at McDonalds but they gave me 2 huge sausage patties with my breakfast and my son’s Eggs Benedict was really good. The parking is street parking so you have to be lucky to find it near the café but it was easy to locate using the Unilocal app.

CHEAP and delicious food. We order delivery from here a lot because my boyfriend lives around the corner from here. They have a delivery menu up on grubhub! Breakfast foods are on point here: eggs, breakfast meats, etc. Potatoes tend to be a little bland, but whatever. They’re always very fast and courteous. Plenty of condiments/napkins/utensils in the bag. The only thing I ever ordered from here that I didn’t like was a salad platter, but everything else was very good.

Located next to the Grant stop on the A train this diner/café has an old-school vibe to it you hardly see anywhere else in the city. It is 100% a local diner filled with local working class folks. No frills but fast, good, inexpensive food ranging from pancakes to gyros. Grab a bagel and coffee before hitting the train in the AM or come here on a sunday morning with the fam for some grub it is suited for both. Things i find endearing: They open real early and close real early(something like 4am-4pm) The waitresses will sometimes yell out the orders in old school code like if your order eggs over easy they’ll say something like«two birds in a bush» instead Only 3 stars because honestly its just regular food served quick and easy but definitely no complaints in any area i will always come back when im in the mood for good breakfast/diner food.

Ok, whenever I return to Brooklyn and I want breakfast, Grant coffee shop is my spot. They have been there for a couple of centuries and the coffee is good, eggs cooked just right and off course the toasted bagels. Grant you rock. See you soon. Tony P

Grant Café is a great local spot for this area of Brooklyn(City Line) and Queens(Ozone Park). Located on the corner of Grant Ave, it’s conveniently near the A train(Grant Station stop). I’ll keep it simple: — They make great grits and complete breakfasts. — They make solid tasting lunches with a nice Mediterranean flair. — They have great value and portion sizes for the prices — You can eat-in, or take your order to go. — They close early on weekdays. — Has a great old-school Brooklyn diner feel. The kind you hardly ever see anymore.

Used to come here when it was under the old management. Came back here today for a late breakfast. I had a hankering for a muffin and coffee. Being it was 10:30AM most of the flavors were not available. I chose a corn muffin(toasted with butter) and coffee. The service was quick. The coffee was good and the muffin was fresh and moist.

Typical neighborhood diner with a Greek flair. Very solid breakfast food and its cheap to boot. Excellent bacon, egg and cheese rolls. They have a wide menu with everything from pancakes to Gyros. I have only been here for breakfast and you cant ever go wrong. Get in before 10:30AM and they have specials. They open early and close early, a solid breakfast spot. They recently changed hands hence the loss of a star.
