I’m mood for a slice and even though the slices that were sold to me were freshly made the pizza dough was soft, doughy and not what I was expecting. I also order a grilled chicken ceasar salad and to be honest was the worst CEASAR salad I have had recently. Not worth the amount they charge which was over $ 11. The staff was nice and friendly but not fond of the food.

These guys have really upped their game since they moved to this location. Their old spot used to be kinda gnarly and I don’t remember the pizza being particularly good, but this is a now a solid neighborhood slice joint with lots of tasty options waiting behind the counter.

For the area this place is great. Good, cheap pizza. Large slices. The square slice and triangle slice are both good. They do a great margherita. The pepperoni has great flavor. Best slice within a 1 mile radius.

I have lived in Prospect Heights for over 15YRS. way before this PIZZERIAEXISTEDONWASHINGTONAVE. THE customer service is DIGUSTING. I walked into the restaurant to buy my children some lunch. I ordered 2 slices…1 bottle of water and a can of soda. I asked what’s the amount and the rude idiot say«7.00 $». I asked how much was everything individually and the idiot replies«What you think»?. This is my first time buying from this hole in the wall. There are no prices present for the customers to see. He says«2.50»…I was unsure if that was for 2 slices or one. He then continues to be DISGUSTINGLYRUDE. I REFUSEDTOSPENDMYMONEYAT A PIZZERIAWITHTHATIDIOT. HEHURLEDRUDENAMESATME. I WOULDNEVERGOINTHISPLACEAGAIN!

Note: This review is for delivery only. There are several factors that define good food deliveries — it is about ease of placing an order, how fast it delivered and, most importantly, consistency of food. And Gino’s got it on all of those points. We ordered from them many times, and always been happy with orders. It’s simple pizza, with good crust — it just done well. They do offer more toppings than they list on seamless, so call and ask. They are super nice about taking orders, too — thumbs up for patience and especially for sense of humor! Mushrooms & olives large pie is yum. Delivery is super fast. Absolutely recommend — give them a try!

We ordered a Pizza at 7:45PM. We actually GOT our pizza at 9:30, after being told for 2 hours that it «was out and almost there». We were hung up on twice, and told to stop calling. The only reason we even got our order(ONE pie going LITERALLY2 blocks down the street) was because we went in ourselves.(They told us it was ready, but actually it hadn’t even been made yet, TWOHOURSLATER). And the«pizza» they made us was just fucking rude. I’ve attached a picture. Its a fucking MESS. And it was raw. If your business is busy and my pizza will be late, that’s fine and I understand. But don’t LIE to me for two hours. Honestly, It’s my fault for being too lazy to walk to Flatbush to get Antonios. Gino’s pizza is gross, obviously. But they’re also incompetent assholes.

This place’s pizza is actually pretty lackluster; for over $ 20, the buffalo chicken pizza pie had several problems– it was borderline burned, it had hardly any cheese on it, and the buffalo chicken had a texture and taste as though it had sat in the display window for over a day or two before being sent to my home. Unfortunately, I will have to make it a point not to order from here going forward.

There is no garlic in their garlic knots. They are super disappointing. The pizza is fine, but there are definitely better options.

I can only attest to delivery. I usually don’t write a for only once eating a restaurant’s food, especially if it as only to go, but this is too important. I. Am. Amazed. I haven’t tasted better pizza in my life. I ordered the Penne Alla Vodka pizza and A) it was giant(I’m not from NY) AND B) it tasted sublime. Penne alla vodka?! On a pizza?! With a soft crust and abundant topping? I don’t understand. AND it was only $ 16? What? I also ordered a garden salad with creamy Italian dressing. It was big and mixed with a good amount of veggies. Oof! The tirimisu though. Lawd, take me! I’ve never had a tirimisu like this. I have no clue how tirimisu is supposed to be, but whatever it is, this one is phenomenal. It has like an ice cream cake vibe, only not as fluffy as far as the cake part, which ISNOT a count against it. They quoted a 35 – 45 min wait, which is totally fine for a Saturday evening to me. Even though they are .6 miles away. It doesn’t matter. Every second was worth it.

I’ve had their pizza twice. Once when they first opened and I got a slice to-go. It was mediocre at best. I was on my home from a date and the men behind the counter leered at me while I waited. It was creepy and uncomfortable. Last night I was desperate for pizza and I ordered a gramma pizzette via Seamless, and despite the fact that I live half a block away it took over 40 minutes for them to deliver. When I called to check on it, because they never confirmed via Seamless, the guy just yelled at me. When it did arrive it was gross, floppy, and raw in the middle. The crust was flat and tasted like absolutely nothing. Whatever the green crap is that they sprinkled all over the pizza also tasted like absolutely nothing as well. Willing to bet it was dried basil from 2002. Yuck. I’ll stick to Franny’s for now but I am on the hunt for a cheaper«take out» pizza place as well.

If you really want pizza… i mean like really want pizza #desperate… This is place is not for you! I don’t care how desperate you get. This was my second try ordering from this place. Last time was less than spectacular but, again, i was desperate. Ordered the Margherita with pepperoni added to one half. What I got was a box of soggy dough, which was probably due to the nearly 3 ounces of sauce that rested on top of the pizza. I mean it looks like someone opened a jar of tomato sauce and poured it on top of an undercooked pizza. Did i mention that didn’t even add the pepperoni to the pizza? When you work up the courage to pull a slice out of the box, you quickly realize you are in for a serious challenge. The«slice» of pizza i thought i was removing from this tomato soaked box deteriorated as I attempted to lift it due to the complete absence of crust(which at this point simply soaked into the cardboard box). I’ll NEVER be ordering from this place again.

Looking for amazing pizza? Ummmm… How about alright pizza? Hey, that’s not a bad thing. This is not a place for fancy pizza. It’s a generic neighborhood pizzeria. You wouldn’t come from another neighborhood, just to try the pies here. You wouldn’t say to your significant other, «Hey after the Brooklyn Museum, can we get Gino’s?» If you’re in the neighborhood however, and are looking for something to fill you up. This is a good option. I’ve had times where I regretted going there. Times where it hit the spot. It depends on the day there. I wouldn’t try anything too fancy here. Just basic Italian American pizza options. Pizza, no crazy toppings, and maybe their chicken rolls or mozzarella sticks. I wouldn’t venture into their entrees. And once again, nothing wrong with that. If you want something hip and trendy, this is not the place. If you want cheap, alright, perfect on a drunk night or prior to starting one, and you’re near Washington Avenue, this is your spot

Soggy pizza, the box was literally deformed by whatever bucket of water they put it on. I It fell apart in my hands and the dough was not cooked. Will never order there again.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. The people working weren’t very friendly, but it’s not like it was a sit down restaurant. We ordered pizza at the counter. The crust was well done, and the veggie pizza was really delicious. I will be going back to try more of what they have to offer

Great little pizza joint. The pizza by the slice always tastes fresh and hot. When ordering a whole pizza, they make it all fresh starting with the dough. Even though they make their pies fresh, they are very quick about it. I’ve never waited more than 20 minutes for my pizzas(usually closer to 10 minutes). The guys are supper friendly.

Gino’s new location seemed so promising compared to their old, dingy, two-seat hole in the wall spot with decades-old signage buuuuut it turns out it’s still sketchy. I started to avoid going in because of the leering and because I would call ahead to confirm they had a specific slice available and then arrive minutes later to find out they didn’t. Basically, the bruschetta pie is their ONLY redeeming quality. It’s the only reason I still get pizza there, it’s phenomenally good.

This pizzeria has 2 outdoor tables in front of the pizzeria. I was biking at Prospect Park and I was hungry. So we decided to come here for a slice of pizza. Plus we could sit and rest and watch our bikes. The pizza was very ordinary. I didn’t really like the crust. It was hard on the ends. The pizza cost $ 2.50 a slice, which is the standard price in Brooklyn.

The destination was not even suppose to be pizza, I happened to stop in front of here because I passed the store that was my original intent. We were on our bikes and this place has outdoor seating, perfecto! I had the regular cheese slice and it tasted like pizza, nothing extraordinary and did its job of filling me up. The slices are $ 2.50, standard price everywhere since it probably costs like $ 0.50 to make it. They put the slices in a box with no plates, usually there are plates for support but guess they are cheapo.
