The smells are very inviting. When you walk in there is an array of foods on a steam table. Simply tell the ladies what you would like and how much of it and they plate it for you. At times the foods have sat out all day and the quality is not hte best but i like coming in early afternoonish on the weekend for some juicy pernil and fluffy rice. If you want to dine in, there are some tables in the back. If you are ordering to go, steer clear of the tostones, they dont travel well. The favorites for me are the pernil, pollo al horno, arroz amarillo, y tostones con ajo. a little spanish speaking ability might be helpful. Its hit or miss. Sometimes i struggle to communicate and sometimes not. just be hungry.

For steam tray latino lunch, this place is awesome. I usually get the pork shoulder with a little chicharron. Its a huge container of rice and beans and meat for 8 bucks. Enough for two meals. Yum.
