Framing By Nadia

If I could give Nadia 20 stars, I would.
Nadia (and her brother) has the best frame shop I have ever worked with. I generally hate getting things framed because I have no artistic sense whatsoever and am never sure how I want something to look. Yet Nadia is extremely patient with me, and always offers her advice without being pushy or judgmental. Also, contrary to other framers I have worked with, she really listens when I say I want to keep a project within a certain price range.
Plus, as others reviewers have noted, she is friendly and always remembers me when I enter her store. I could get things framed here every day. She is that enjoyable to work with.
Oh, and also important to mention, her work is beautiful. I love everything I have had her frame for me.
Long live Nadia’s frame shop!

Nadia is fantastic. Going into the shop always amps up my mood as 1) I’m either dropping off something exciting or picking up something she’s done a phenomenal job on and 2) her energy and smile could light up all of Court St.
On top of this, I shopped around the first time I needed a framer in the area and her prices her significantly lower and also more transparent than the 3 – 4 other shops I tried.
I’ve taken her several jobs, both canvas wraps and custom frames, and I love the process of planning the mattes and moldings with her. She’s an insightful artist and really has a knack for both understanding the job and a customer’s specific taste and recommending a variety of great options. I most recently had her frame a set of vintage magazine images I picked up in Italy a few months back and they are absolutely gorgeous.
Could not recommend more highly!

I decided to bring my framing job there because of all the good reviews and was happy I did! She is super cool to deal with. I had a piece that I was framing because I was thinking of selling it and explained that I was also on a tight budget. She had a small stack of frames that were on sale and found a nice looking white 15″ x19″ frame that worked nicely with the piece. The complete job with white matte was $ 35. She said apologetically that turn around time would be two weeks and it was in fact done in that time. The turn around time was the only thing that I was less than thrilled about but that does seem to be a typical time. When I came to pick up the piece she remembered that I was selling it and wished me luck which impressed me. Anyway, would definitely bring future jobs to her and recommend her to others!

Nadia does great work. We have used her for all of our framing projects in our house. This week we needed a fast turnaround for a gift and, as always, Nadia did a great job at a fair price. As you can see from all of the other excellent reviews, Nadia is a great neighborhood small business. Thanks!!!

Nadia is so nice and so helpful. I really can’t recommend this store enough. She is the ultimate local business. I cannot image using anyone else for framing. The best of the neighborhood and worth a trip across Brooklyn.

Although Framing by Nadia isn’t lacking in great reviews, I’ll add one more to her impressive collection.
On Monday, I came in and discussed a project with her — framing a Scrabble board with tiles affixed. Not only did she quote me a less expensive price than another framer, but she was eager to help me design it in such a way that it would be both cost effective and beautiful. It didn’t take long to decide I wanted her to do the job, and she let me stay at her shop to glue the tiles onto the board. Knowing she’d have to wait at least a day before starting the project, I didn’t expect it to be done quickly but she assured me it would be done by the end of the week. Sure enough, two days later she called me to tell me it was complete and looking beautiful!
When I picked it up, she admitted that she used a larger molding than she had quoted me but would not charge any extra. As promised, it looked stunning. Between the price, the quality, the speed, and her wonderfully personable manner, this is truly a 5-​star business. Should I have any more framing needs, I will be sure to return to Nadia!

Nadia did a beautiful job on the sunset photo of my beau in Cape May. She gave me great suggestions for colors. Plus, her personality is lovely. Will definitely go back to her for my next framing project.

I have gotten two pieces framed by Nadia this past year and I’m never going anywhere else again! I’ve been to many places in carroll gardens but Nadia has the best prices and quality! She is so sweet and helpful and has a terrific eye. You will not be disappointed with her work.

I’ve only brought a few things here to get framed but I can safely say I have no need to go elsewhere. She is super on time, has a great eye, does not try to up-​sell; just wants to find the frame and matte will that complement both the art and the the room where it will reside– in my case a restaurant, Grindhaus. She listens and gets it. She’s such a good listener in fact, she comforted me thru an unexpected near meltdown I had in the store recently. For that alone, add another star.

Run don’t walk to Framing By Nadia, she is absolutely the best! As a life long Brooklynite I have searched high and low for a professional place to bring my most important and sentimental pieces– and FINALLY found Framing By Nadia and the search is OVER!
I came to Nadia in my typical fashion (exasperated, with zero ideas about what I wanted, on a budget, and with very little time) looking to have a print framed for my Father’s Surprise 65^th Birthday Extravaganza. Decidedly, this was a big deal and all I knew was I wanted it to be PERFECT. Nadia was so warm, knowledgable and patient with me as I hemmed and hawed over this frame or that, as she guided me through (what would have been a disaster anywhere else) a really fun experience with an impeccable result.
The print looked absolutely gorgeous, Nadia notified me personally when it was ready to be picked up, and I couldn’t be happier. My Father opened his gift in front of all our closest friends and family and was brought to tears! It is hanging in his office where he can look at it every day, and he always make sure to tell me how clients and coworkers alike comment on how beautiful it looks. It was a really wonderful experience, and I simply could not recommend her more highly.

What can I say about Nadia that hasn’t already been said? Not much, but I’ll say it anyway! I’ve used her services both for some personal pieces and for an organization I volunteer for, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She offers terrific recommendations on frame and glass varieties, charges very fair prices, and does extremely good work. If you have any photos, posters, artwork, or anything else you want to slap on your wall, bring it to Nadia and she’ll take care of you!

Nadia is awesome! She has lovely taste and makes it easy to pick something nice that fits within your budget. Great customer service and a great finished product. Not cheap, but good framing never is.

just left nadia’s after she put in a non glare glass for my vintage poster. I literally called her an hour ago. raced over there. she gave me an education in various types of glass and then swapped my cracked glass for a brand new one in a matter of minutes. Top draw service! I cannot recommend this woman enough. she is genuinely passionate about her work and an extremely charming lady too. I’ll definitely be a regular here. she’s the best!

I’m a professional photographer and often have my work framed for clients. I discovered Nadia about a year ago and take all my work there. she has a good eye for choosing the proper mat and frame and will sit with you and try different combinations. Everything I’ve had framed there came out perfectly. Thanks Nadia!

Nadia did an amazing job on a newspaper article I had framed in 2 different frames. Matting was crisp, frame choices were broad and Nadia offered great suggestions. I used to go to the UWS to get all my framing done — no more! It’s great to have a place to close to home. I chose expensive glass choices and double-​matting, but prices were less than Manhattan. Go here!
