I am a big supporter of Strictly Vegetarian which is located across the street. It is one of the best places in NY. But one day I decided I needed to simply try Four Seasons to get a different spin on Vegan /Vegetarian. I admit the place is not beautiful in fact it’s simple but clean. Once I ordered the food and tasted it, I finally realize they didn’t have time to fix up the place because it’s obvious the love and focus was in the food. OMG! The veggie scrabble and bake was delicious. The taste was clean, season to perfection and light. Since that one day, I treat myself every other week, alternating between two great spots and to have them both directly across from each other is heaven. I love this place and once you start talking to the staff in the front you’ll realize they love giving you Vegan cooking and health tips. I would have given them 5 stars but I had to hold back due to the simple look of this place but if you want another great spot for tasty, clean vegan take out. run…don’t walk. You’ll enjoy it.

I’ve eaten here twice and it’s one of the best vegan spots I’ve tried. The food is well seasoned and the serving sizes are large at a reasonable price. They also make some pretty good fruit juices. There’s not much seating and the service could be a little better but I’d definitely recommend it for a delicious, organic, vegan meal in a low key spot.

This would probably be my last meal on earth, if I really had to make that choice. Just a great big mountain of flavors and textures from veggies to tofu to noodles and more. Why do I live in Cleveland? We go here whenever we’re in New York and it is so worth it. Last time I noticed the space is much smaller than it used to be and I thought the selection was cut down as well but the food was outstanding and the service has always been wonderful, you’re never embarrassed to ask what something is, and everyone is sincerely happy to see you take your time and enjoy the meal. This modest restaurant doesn’t need frills or gimmicks– the food speaks for itself. The prices are excellent and even with the small size, you’ll have leftovers. My mouth is watering thinking about this amazing ital food and I very much wish we had something similar in Ohio but meat is king here, unfortunately, and small businesses shy away from taking the all vegan route for fear of losing clientele. Can’t wait to go back!

Knowledgable people work here. I came in to ask questions about a detox and I ended up staying and learning about a whole lot of great things when it comes to the best way of taking care of your body. Ask questions and their willing to answer with no problem– their food is pretty good as well.

This restaurant is an absolute gem in the Flatbush neighborhood!!! Upon walking in, I must say I was a bit apprehensive that the food was going to cause a serious stomachache. I couldn’t have been more wrong!!! I ordered a bunch of the lunch specials, which included the rice, fake meat and pumpkin and it was deeeeelocious! I highly recommend the food and you must try the tamarin juice! Yummmmmy. I’m giving it 4 stars because it got a B sanitation grade.

This is why I dont go here much and I stick to «Strickly Vegetarian» across the street. With them I can always have reliable friendly service, a clean environment, and appealing atmosphere. When you walk into Four Seasons it looks like a junkyard, for some reason I overlooked that and kept going here to buy banana cake. Well, This was surely my last. I ordered a vegan birthday cake for 4 – 7 my birthday, over 7 days in advance. The cake was undone and heavy, gave me a tummy ache. Brought it back and instead of trying to compromise, the guy argued with me while he counted his money and ate his own food that he cooked to sell. He didn’t even look up at first when we walked into the store, which is not unusual. I left the cake on the counter and walked out, instead of angrily going across the counter and doing what I really wanted to: s He had the nerve to say«Whats wrong with the cake. nothing is wrong with it» While I said«look at the one in your showcase, thats what I ordered, there are visible texture differences» he told me «Those are old stale cakes» –_-I have never EVER bought food in here because it is never covered and there is no glass, so the air just settles, which is nasty. So after this experience, I am done with this place!

I was SOOO happy to find a Four Seasons booth at BAM’s Dance Africa event last weekend(there were 3 all vegetarian booths selling similar Caribbean food) but I decided on Four Seasons since they had the best prices. This was my first time eating at Four Seasons in a few years and even when I did eat at their restaurant, I mostly just got snacks because I had previously filled up at the(now closed) Veggie Castle across the street. I got 4 items for $ 7 and I decided on lo mein(nothing spectacular on its own but is good when mixed with fake meat), sauteed cabbage and carrots(good), curried tofu(slightly bland), and the sweet and sour chicken(delicious!). Everyone there was really nice and they gave very generous portions. I look forward to visiting your restaurant again soon!

We discovered Four Seasons Bakery & Juice Bar recently while visiting the post office next door on Church Avenue. What a find! My girlfriend and I love yummy, vegetarian Ital food and we eat it during the summer on Sundays at Drummer’s Grove in Prospect Park. Four Seasons is an eclectic establishment which sells clothes, herbs, fresh bakery items and fresh juices. But most exciting for us… They make a daily selection of fresh and delicious Jamaican vegetarian dishes. You order a big plate or a small and watch as the counter person spoons in layers of rice and peas, savory soy protein dishes, noodles, vegetables and greens(the most delicious kale and collard green salad!). On top of all this goes a slice of Mac & Cheese(with some super-hot Jamaican hot sauce on the side) and I’m in heaven! This is not a fancy place or a formal restaurant. There are tables and chairs… and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Eat in or take out to the park. What stood out here was the consistent quality of the various hot dishes. Each was delicately spiced with nuance and flavor. We were so smitten… we visited again the following week and were instantly welcomed back like regulars. A very cool find… worth a stop if you’re anywhere around the neighborhood(Flatbush, Church Avenue, Prospect Park) and have a taste for delicious, healthy, Caribbean vegetarian food.
