Good Food but bad choice of vega table placement, for example cheese burger delux is good but the tammato s are always ugly smh the pickle looks like it’s been dropped, other wise the place is good, prices a bit pricey but worth the delivery they come super quick, only place that’s open in bay ridge it’s 24 hours so you gotta take the bad with the good this is why I give this place 4 stars, don’t forget to ask them what kind of cake they have !

I ordered breakfast off Grubhub on Christmas day, and they said the food would be delivered in about 75 minutes. They never showed up, so I checked the status of the order online and it said they still had not left and they were making the food. I called them to ask if they received the order and the man who answered was kind of rude and said to just cancel the order through the website I ordered from, since they hadn’t even started to make it. I understand it was christmas day, and maybe they were just super busy? But it seems they didn’t even care about my order.

Do not let the looks of this diner from the outside fool you. The food is good its not crowded and the food is good. Get the pancakes! Yaasssss!

Food is decent. Nothing to write home about. Décor is non existent. Would add another star if it wasn’t for the drug addicts that are always in there nodding off. Wouldn’t come back here unless I was really hungry and there were no other options, and even then I’d just get my food, scarf it down and get outta dodge.

This diner has the quickest delivery I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been ordering food from here for years and each time, it arrives shortly after I call. The food is pretty good and they have a large menu to choose from. I’ve eaten here many times, in the diner and also delivery, and I think this place is clean and relatively quiet — two of things I look for when eating at a diner. I love that they are open 24 hours too– very convenient.

I’ve been here a couple of times and I’m giving them five stars. Not for being haute cuisine or having a spectacularly beautiful place… But for being just what they are. A clean reliable local coffee shop with good food, pleasant service and reasonable prices. Today I had the $ 9.95 lumberjack special. Two eggs cooked perfectly to my specifications(I like them scrambled soft), 2 pancakes, bacon, sausage, ham, juice, coffee and sliced melon. I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.

I was just bullied by the guys that work here at Ft. Hamilton Diner. Their deliveryman rang my lobby doorbell. I was waiting for a dinner order, from another establishment. When I heard the elevator door open, I opened my apt door. The guy handed me the bag, and I handed him the money. I was told how much my order was via phone, when I place my order, with the other place. When I opened the bag, it was not my dinner but rather a dessert item. This delivery guy had a large sum of money from me for a delivery that was not mine. I have never ordered from Ft. Hamilton Diner. So, the deliveryman was going to take the money and run, knowing he had too much money for the order he handed me. Being that there was no receipt, or menu in the bag, I had to start calling diners to see who had just delivered to my address. The man who answered the phone was very belligerent and began to verbally attack me. He finally agreed to send the deliveryman back with my money. When the deliveryman arrived, he began bullying me because he was going to do everything in his power to pocket my money. I was ready to call the police. I was grateful for a male neighbor who stood by me to ensure I received my money. The behavior of these men at Ft. Hamilton Diner is disgraceful. How pathetic and desperate that they believe they can bully women and steal money. They fail to acknowledge their deliveryman rang the wrong doorbell, for the wrong floor, and arrived at the wrong door. Then, they desperately wanted their wrong delivery of a waffle with ice-cream on it, back. Really, an hour later you think it’s going to be in tact? I gave it to a neighbor so it wouldn’t go in the garbage. I am still stunned that I had to fear for my safety. We certainly don’t need people like this managing our local businesses, and should do everything we can to encourage them to leave. There are so many better places to dine at, with a much nicer and respectful business style.

This place is fantastic and deserves way more credit. It’s open 24 hours and is right next to the 95th station. Great for those late nights back home when you’re hungry! The portions are huge and they have a great variety. What makes this place extra amazing is that they have a section for people who want to eat something healthy. Their health food selection is great for those who are on Paleo, gluten-free, or carb conscious — a rarity to find during late night.

I absolutely love their gravy!!! Fries w mozzarella, chicken tenders and mash all go amazing w this gravy! Service is good, food is good. I’ve only had one bad experience and it wasn’t terrible. I ordered a panini sandwich and it turned out to be an open faced sandwich. Idk if there was a miscommunication burn it was good regardless.

Went into the fort Hamilton diner for a quick breakfast, it’s a small place. The diner is actually kind of dirty, it’s pretty gross, the bathroom looks like a jail cell. The waitress was sweet, but a little slow. The breakfast food is really good, and great prices.

It’s 24⁄7 so the only time we eat here is when everything else is closed. They also deliver late nights which is very convenient. Milkshakes are good, but on the small side. Their cheesecake is the best thing on the menu.

I’ve gone here for breakfast a couple of times now. It’s a diner. The staff is nice and the food is good. There’s nothing particularly outstanding or amazing. It just is what it is. Though I am definitely liking the free delivery 24⁄7 aspect. I’ll have to take advantage of that soon. Out of the three diners within blocks of each other this one is my favorite. It’s not the cheapest and it doesn’t have the largest portions out of the three but it is just right. It also accepts credit cards with a $ 10 minimum and it has a high chair and room to stash strollers so long as it’s not super packed. All of these things add up to a pleasant experience for myself and my family.

Delicious standard diner food, and a great value here. I brought my wife and kids here for breakfast. I like most of the French toast at the diners in South Bay Ridge, but this place is the tops. The slices they use are thick, which makes it more difficult to get the batter soaked enough without it turning soggy. But it was perfect! Bravo, FHD. The OJ tastes freshly squeezed, and my kids demolished their silver dollar pancakes. The food costs a bit more, but the servings are much larger here compared to most diners nearby. The people here are very friendly and the food came out fast. Diners in the area are different. If I want a large plate for a bit more money, or I only have credit or debit cards, I’ll go here.

I went into this place by myself and sat down at a table. I ordered a burger and fries, but instead of being served it on a plate… I was given it to me in a to-go bag. I guess they assumed because I was alone, I wanted it to go! Ha. Regardless… it was a great burger!

Consistently good diner grub, with a few special items on the list that elevate from regular diner to GREAT diner. Open 24 hours and delivery 24 hours a day — CANNOTBEATTHAT. After getting home from a night out at a concert in the city, you can get bar grub delivered to your apartment within twenty minutes. Even during a blizzard. AMAZING!

Ok so this place does it’s job. It’s open 24 hours they have quick delivery and the food is decent. Late night if I had to choose between bridgeview(the other local diner) or this one the choice is simple. Find me here at 1am chomping down on the monte Cristo with Canadian bacon. Oh and tues is split pea soup day thurs is cream if turkey Yumm. Love their soups. A solid three stars for decent diner fare and good service.

I definitely love this place, from general orders to late night cravings. I try to order out of my norm but I love the burgers, curly fries and deserts here so much. I have tried fish and chips and its very fresh and that’s always a plus when it comes to seafood. Their best burger so far imo is the Brooklyn burger deluxe meal. Service is great and they are never rude in person or on the phone when I order.

Stopped here for lunch with a buddy who luckily works in Bay Ridge a couple blocks away for the public school system. The service was kind of bland and slow, but we simply ordered burger deluxes and that’s what we got. I can’t say this place is memorable, but does get good window light, and is a pretty comfortable place to have a lunch meeting or cookie cutter home cooked meal.

Do I live in the same neighborhood? This is the WORST diner regarding service, with the worst and slowest service I’ve ever had anywhere. One time I went in there late evening, like 10pm. Not a soul in there, and I stood at that counter for over 30 minutes waiting for a Gyro to go. Also, during the winter months, the room chills quickly when someone opens the door. They need a plastic vestibule. If this place is crowded, forget about. Go down the block to Kathy’s place. I’m giving it 2 stars because the food is decent.
