Five Guys Burgers and Fries

I like Five Guys — great burgers with unlimited free toppings and cajun style fries! The wait is not too long and it’s fun to see them prepare the food!

Love the burgers and fries. Prices are reasonable. Go there hungry. Staff is friendly and the layout is cool. If your in the mood for a burger and hand cut fries, this is the place to go to.

Great burgers but sooooooo slow. The main culprit is the ordering line… glacial! This is New York people, efficiency matters!

Delish. Cheese burger was amazing. Fries were cooked to perfection. My son loved his hot dog. It’s a little pricey but worth the splurge.

Do not order online. The food is not made and waiting for you like they promise. Once it is eventually made though, it’s a tasty burger.

Who doesn’t love this place, it is the best greasy burger ever! Every time I’m in the area I go here for some greasy goodness, especially when I was expecting you get that good old fashioned burger taste. They are quick to take your order and serve you which is even better since I am always on the go.

I’ve yet to try this place until today. The New York version of in n out burger, but the fries are WAYYY better. I’m almost kicking myself for trying it because I know I’ll be back soon and that’s not good for my Wallet or waistline.

If you’re eating in, sit up at the stools in the front and look out on the street. The second story view is quite quaint.
Their bacon cheeseburger is really good. It’s basic, but a good old standby.
Really dislike their fries though– too soggy for my taste.

This place is great!
The service I received was excellent. The cashier was very nice and actually smiled as our orders were being taken. She was through in explaining the one question we had.
Food is delicious as expected and I love how they have the vinegar containers for the fries!
This particular five guys has one of those electronic coke machines with the screen that allows you to choose hundreds of different flavors. Not sure if others have the same (I didn’t see one at the one in midtown).
There’s also a decent and clean bathroom to use at this location. Useful fact since so many restaurants don’t have facilities to use. Also, the neighborhood is amazing!

So I went to this Branch today for lunch. Not a bad place. Very spacious and the cashier moved the line. Food was great but the two person that was prepping the food needed more training. Let’s see I waited 30 minutes for them to call my order number. When I went to get my food the order was wrong. They missed the fries with both meal. So I waited another 15 minutes. Not good plus by the time I got the fries the burger was cold. Food cost about 26 dollars for two burgers and two fries. The place was a mess and needed to be cleaned. Only had 3 staff members working which would have been ok but it was lunch time and the branch is directly across from a hospital. The cashier was great but everything else needs some TLC.

Just as good as any other Five Guys in the city and outer-​boroughs!
Staff here are friendly and efficient. If they see you waiting around a while for your order, they’ll ask for your ticket number so they can check up on it. The wait can be a little longer than desired because they grill the patty right when you order. Definitely worth it once you bite into that juicy burger!

Staff does what they need to do serve burgers. the place is clean and of course the burgers are amazing and damn those cajun fries they get me everytime. Ive tried other burger places and i always end up back here.

Fast food, done right! All the workers seem genuinely happy, and cheerily greet you when they take your order. At first it weirded me out a little, but they’re actually happy. How weird!
Everything else is pretty solid for a Five Guys. I have absolutely nothing to complain about here. Nothing is too slow, they are stereotypically generous with fries (even a small is good for 2 people). Having the mobile app to order while you’re walking towards this place is great. Haven’t had any order get messed up.

I came here, not my choice, my department decided they wanted lunch over here. I personally do not like fast food and I must say I don’t change my mind. Five guys may be good to some of you but I don’t like it. It disgusts me, and the fries weren’t as crunchy as I like my fries… After eating here, I got a stomach ache. So I don’t know about you fast food lovers, but I wouldn’t eat here again.

Well my feeling is that with Five GUys you know what you’re going to get. Its a greasy but delicious burger, generous savory patty, lots of sauce, buttery bun, flavorful cheese, and crispy lettuce and tomato. The fries are very crispy, large cut, salted just right, and filling. They also have one of those Coca-​Cola Freestyle Machines, so you can saturate yourself with all the Fanta, Cherry Coke, Mellow Yellow or Powerade taht you want.
The problem is not the first time you get Five Guys, its the second or third or fourth time. See its very delicious and you might be tempted to go back, but believe me its like the law of diminishing returns. Its just not going to be as good the next time. The burger seems just a little bit more soggy, the fries just a little bit less crispy, and the soda just a little bit a lit watered down. But space out your visits, and hey it’ll get the job done.
Its a little bit overpriced, but hey if you get a burger, fries and a drink, I doubt you’ll be hungry afterwards. Its decent and definitely better than McDonalds or Burger King. Think more on the level of Johnny Rockets. But is it as good as In N’ Out or Shake Shack? Definitely not, a step below those. You can certainly find a better burger, especially in NYC.

Five Guys will destroy you with fries! The small is a large and the large is colossal. If you order a large, you basically get a bag of fries. Delicious, moist fries.
I regretfully didn’t get them spicy. But do I taste garlic anyway??? I think I do! Fresh, hand cut fries with the skins on. Always perfectly cooked. These are thicker cut fries so they aren’t crispy. But they aren’t soggy either. Just right.
The front window is usually piled with bags of Idaho potatoes. Bags and bags. They don’t play.
The burger is a bit of an afterthought in comparison. It’s a tasty burger though. You have a nice choice of free toppings. I got the bacon & grilled onions on my two patties. I forgot you get two patties. I was stuffed.
So if you’re hankerin’ for some delicious fries. Five Guys is one of the best at them.

Oh how I love Five Guys! But not this one.
They ran out of mushrooms, most sodas, and mustard over two hours before closing. And thats just what I know they ran out of, I’m sure they were out of other ingredients that I didn’t know about.
Without being mean to an individual, I will just say that there was nothing pleasant or appetizing at all about the person taking orders. Not his/​her professional appearance, attitude, or customer service skills.
This is not the first time that they ran out of stuff here, its almost always something. The burgers are still bangin’ though, even if the fries do need salt.
