«Coming colors in the air /Oh, everywhere.» There is a veritable rainbow explosion outside Euromex, in its window display, and on the racks inside of(mostly South and Central American) national team jerseys. The store also offers very reasonably priced and stylish shin guards, cleats, and indoor soccer shoes. I got a great pair of thin Nike shin guard-in-sock combos at a steal and admired many pairs of soccer shoes on the wall. The employees were very helpful and encouraged me to take things out of the package to try them on, which is the opposite approach I usually find. This store might be a bit off the beaten path, but I think the prices are worth it(and you can get some great tacos nearby).

I’ve been here twice, and seem to have a problem not walking out with a jersey. Phil Graham was once asked how many guns he had. His reply, which I always loved, was«More than I need, but less than I want». This is how I feel about soccer jerseys. Usually the price holds me back, but Euromex has replica jerseys(aka knockoffs) for $ 26. Not a bad deal at all. On Saturday I picked up one from AS Monaco FC(Go Freddy!). And I lamented the fact that they didn’t have a Boca Juniors blue shirt in a large. Upon hearing this, the guy scoured the back room for one, but sadly failed. He did, however, special order one for me, which is pretty awesome. It’d be nice if they didn’t quite concentrate so hard on Chivas, América, the Mexican national team and Barcelona, but most people walking by probably by those, thus it’s understandable. But in the heart of a very Latino neighborhood, finding a French jersey along with Bundesliga and Eredivisie is pretty damn cool.
